Broken
The small docile female trotted to the canyon as her and Eytan had talked about flying. He said that when you jumped from rock to rock it had the feeling of freedom and peace. She let out a happy bark calling her new alpha to her. She wanted to play and be his friend and hoped he would be a friend back.
Eytan
He hopped after her, tail wagging and tongue lolling in excitement. He turned to her, smiling. "Now watch. I'll teach you to fly!" And he leapt off the edge with practiced ease, letting out a bark of sheer thrill as he sailed down, landing solidly on one of the many rocky shelves, this one big enough to hold them both with room to spare. Turning up to her, he said, "Just mind your feet when you jump. Make sure you have a place to land. You won't like it if you fall."
Broken
She smiled faintly at him and with a deep breath leaped as hard as she could for a rock near Eytans. Her coat shimmered the grey streak on her side appearing as if it moved. With admirable grace she landed with a soft thud and smiled over at him. "This was a great idea Eytan." Again she leaped onto another rock. It had looked solid and it even held her for a few seconds but then without warning it broke and slid taking a startled Broken with it.
A couple yards away from where the rock had broken the small female somehow managed to grasp one of the other rocks. She looked down gazing at the abyss below. Shaking her head to clear the humming away. She looked up at Eytan with a wavering smile adreniline coursing through her. She wasnt used to doing things like that but it was thrilling. Until a stabbing pain shot through her right foreleg. Letting out a yelp of pain she sat down lifting it up so as not to damage it anymore. She glanced at Eytan and sighed. She hadnt meant to ruin there fun but that rock had looked stable....
Eytan
Eytan had caught his breath as she fell, but relaxed just a little as she came to solid ground once again. He was at an odd angle, and couldn't see the hurt limb, but he began to hop down, soon coming to rest upon the rock she was on, which was just wide enough for him to fit too. "Are you alright, Broken?" His tail waved uncertainly in concern, and he whined softly.
Broken
The small female looked at him and with a wry smile said "I think I broke my paw" She held up the foot in question which was bent at an odd angle. Watching him she said softly "im sorry for ruining our fun"
Eytan
He smiled softly. Oh don't apologize. It's not your fault. I doubt you set out to break a paw. And he smiled a little wider before his brow furrowed in concern. Do you think you can get back up?
Broken
She smiled and hesitantly stood up. She looked around her then down. "Um.....Im not sure. How do you suppose I get back up? Or down.....Whatever direction I should be going." she looked down again and sighed. So much for flying
Eytan
He glanced at her concernedly, and spoke sofly. Getting back up is harder. You have to hop over there... But from there it is a fairly easy road out, requiring no climbing. A gentle slope.
