Skylark

Svelte young lass moved up the canyon. She felt like a deer or a goat bounding up through the rocks. This was only her fourth summer. Dimonds were places carefully as she picked her way up the steep hill. She decided agianst going all the way for she feared she wouldn't be able to get back down. Standing she gave a shrill call and hoped a stallion might come to find her.

Cheyenne

The multicolored fae carefully stepped up the steep canyon rocks, letting her gaze drift from place to place. When she came appon the mare, she tensed and raised her tail. She wouldn't attack unless the other were to. She studied the mare with her steel gray eyes. "Who are you and what are you up here for?" she asked, rather intently. She knew no stallions would likely be up here. But she knew a place where every horse stayed while they didn't have a home. Cheyenne wasn't about to introduce herself, not until she got th info of the wandering mare. Quite loud. The shrill call had hurt her ears on the way up. Cheyenne would see if the newly found equine was wanting a home. Many other equines wandered around the prairie, an excellent place to go to look for a home. She would first have to see if this mare was at all interested in Cheyenne taking her there. She wasn't usually one to make sudden offers, but she really knew what this mare hoped for.

Skylark

Softy crystlines zoned in apon the aproaching fatale. Thorns pricked forward and dial was held in the usually high position. Long plume hung behind her. She heard the diablas melody. I am Skylark. I was wondering around the area, and came up here. I was just wondering if there were any soldiers around that could give me a home.

Cheyenne

Cheyenne cocked her head. "Well, you can't hope very much to find a 'soldier' around here. But there is one good place to go... If the soldiers you mean are actually called stallions." she said. Her words might have jumbled here and there a bit, but she wasn't kidding or being sly, though that was sometimes how she tended to be. She sat back on her haunches and flicked her tail as she waited for a reply.
