Shannon, Devon, & Shato
A girl and her two pets had somehow found themselves lost. Devon, Shannon's Timber Wolf, knew his way around, so he was up front beside Shato. They were the loyal guardians and protectors of their faithful human. All three hoped to find civilization again sometime. But for now, Devon was in the lead. He was much larger than most wolves, being a pure Timber wolf. And he was one to not enjoy killing much. But he would do anything in means of helping his human.
Devon's paws made small noises as he padded along a cliff edge, keeping a wary eye on the part that slanted down. He was usually with his human, and now was a day he was. He knew it would be time again to depart so he could live his regular life in the wild with the other wolves, despite the fact he really knew no one. His large body halted as he sniffed the air. He found no scents meaning danger as he sorted them in his mind. He found a suitable place for himself as he sniffed around the hard rocks. He quickly sat back on his haunches and looked around.
Shato, the hybrid, quickly followed Devon around, only leaving the wolf to sniff in newer scents. His curled tail wagged happily as he yipped. He started hopping around the sitting Devon, eager to play some more. He was always active, almost always in constant motion. Shato was the one that just about always stayed behind with Shannon, to ensure her safety.
Seeing that Devon wouldn't stand back up, Shato quickly leapt over to the jogging Shannon. He yipped happily again and shook playfully. She patted him as she passed him and she moved over to her wolf canine. She sat back beside him and rested her head back in her arms, staring off into the distant parts of the valley that were seeable. She thought she could even spot the ranch from up here.
Shato quickly settled down and laid on the other side of Shannon, curling up into a cozy ball with his tail flopping from side to side. They had no idea what they would expect here, but Shannon felt she could go anywhere and be safe with her canine guardians.

She saw the canines and their two-leg companions, she was corious of these two-legs. She walked towards them her tail down, trying to make it look like she wouldn't harm a fly.
Shannon, Devon, & Shato
Shannon had falen asleep and so did not hear nor see the wolf approach, but Devon did. The large Timber wolf streaked forward and stopped between Shannon and Guari, while letting a snarl out. He started growling, letting his fur bristle and his tail raise. "Who are you and what have you come for?" he sharply demanded under his growls.
Shato came after Devon, tail low, head high, back almost slumping to the ground. He stopped beside Devon, not bothering to wake Shannon up. His curled tail started slapping the air as he stood there, happy and enjoying the wild. He may not seem like he was on alert, but he was. He slightly shown a single white tooth, warning Guari not to go any closer. Shato waited for the reply while Devon was still tense and ready to move. He hadn't noticed anything that would signal that the other wasn't going to attack, but this was the time Devon wasn't all too happy.

She smiled at them. And spoke, teasingly.
