Keilo

The huge brute sat at the edge of the canyon drop-off, letting his thick ruff billow in the breeze. He had lived in this valley for years now; he was one of the first here. Things had gone very well for a long time, besides the untimely death of several friends. Mostly do to humans... Cedar, Nau, Wespero, Isia... and now his mate, son, and daughter were gone. Keilo was past his prime now, but not old enough to be considered elderly yet. His large size and experience could still hold him out in a fight, although stamina was begining to wane slightly.

Taiser

Taiser was wondering idly about, keen to stay out of his alpha's path because he knew she might be in a bad mood from the fighting. He also knew that Vivek had left the pack, but Taiser wasn't going too. He could put up with Aaka's attitude, at least this much of it.

Spotting the older brute, Taiser picked up his pace and headed towards the morose charater. "Hey." he greeted with a quick bark, "You look down." He tried to sound friendly, seeing that Keilo looked so lonely.

Keilo

Keilo turned quickly to the younger wolf and a small smile lit his face, "Greetings." he replied, studying Taiser, "I'm Keilo. You're from Aaka's pack." He then pointed out, picking up the unmistakeable scent of the queen wolfess. "I guess you could say I'm down. But physically..." he grinned, standing and peering over the edge, "We are both rather high."

Aaka

Aaka trotted into the canyon head down eyes unseeing. She passed Keilo and Taiser and walked to the edge of the canyon and stopped abruptly. She gazed down at everything below and said softly "Those that dont know the truth wont suffer" she said it so softly that they would have had to strain to hear. She turned her bright yellow eyes to both of them a surprised look on her face. "Taiser....Whereve you been? I havent seen you in awhile now" she was always like this during or after a fight. Shaken, haunted, sad. Alone.

Taiser

He turned sharply, surprised to see his alpha and also by what she said. Taken up an appologitic feature, he dipped his head down, "Here and there, no where particular." He parted his trap to add more, but stopped before he said anything else on the matter. Taiser glanced at Keilo and then to Aaka again, "I'm sorry for not being around the pack much." he admitted finally, studying her for what reaction that might bring. He sensed something was wrong and he strove to find out, or at least make her feel better. "Everything alright?" he questioned next.

Aaka

She was astonished by Taisers sincerity. No one had ever cared before. She wasnt about to let it go to her. "Everythings fine" she said in the same soft quiet voice. It wasnt cold but it didnt sound much like the real Aaka either. She actually sounded like her sister. But it was impossible. Moon Spirit was at her packlands-oh no wait. She was here.

Moon Spirit came up behind Taiser and Keilo. "Excuse me" she said as she passed. She went to her sister knowing exactly what was running through her mind. "I know why you took Enola" she hissed. Immediatly the alpha of the silver glades face went cold. Hard. Expressionless. "Thats nice to know Moon. Is there anything I can do for you?" she asked quietly. She didnt like this position.

Taiser

Taiser nodded slowly to the reply, judging it best not to push her any further to find out what was wrong. At the mention of Enola, Taiser sucked in a short breath, remembering the incident at Galar's Marsh. He was still picking thorns out of his pelt and flesh for that one! Not wanting to upset either of them, he remained silent when they spoke and kept his thoughts to himself.

"I hear that the moose population has gone down." the wolf interjected, trying to sound as casual as he could about it. He was quite interested about this business with Enola still, but in fear of upsetting either of them, especially Aaka, he choose to bring up a different subject. The moose actually interested him too, because their population was going down without a reasonable explination.
