Senka

The Light Bluish colored mixed tiger had needed a break from the pack. she told Tyrant she was going out for a walk to the canyon to think and that she'd be back before dark. She walked calmly along a path that led down into the canyon.

Ethan & Others

For Senka, it was a case of 'wrong place, wrong time'. Ethan just happened to be on a ridge opposite of the tigress, and up a few yards in elevation on his rocky perch, and spotted the feline as she traveled along the path. As quiet as a field mouse, the man put aside the binoculars he'd been using to survey the area and reached for the smaller tranquilizer in his pack. With deft hands and decades of practice to guide them, Ethan quickly and efficiently filled three darts with the powerful sedative, gauging the feline's weight. One dart was quietly loaded and he took aim, waiting until he had a good, broadside shot of her flank. Then, hunching down to conceal himself among the branches of a young juniper bush, Ethan fired...

Senka

Her ears did twitch around the time Ethan loaded his gun but she wasn't fast enough to realize what caught her attention and she hissed as a prick in her haunches she ran a ways before collapsing. But due to adrenaline she didn't fully get knocked out.

Ethan & Others

Ethan remained poised on the edge of his lofty perch, scarcely moving a muscle as Senka was darted. He let her run a short ways before he took his phone out and dialed up a few friends, relaying his coordinates while his hawk-like gaze followed the tiger through the sparse underbrush. After waiting a few minutes, the man climbed down from the rock outcropping and, with an actual gun held in one hand just in case, he began to follow the path the tiger had taken.

A few minutes later, he came across the collapsed Senka. Ethan set his backpack down and retrieved a coil of nylon rope, and began to carefully loop her paws together, hoping to secure the big cat before she came to her senses...

Senka

She laid there mostly out. Though as he started tying her legs she did growl but couldn't yet lift her head.

Ethan & Others

In a few short moments, Ethan had secured her legs and wrapped a few hearty coils around her muzzle for good measure. After that, it was a matter of hiking back to his truck to await the arrival of his friends and an ATV. Once they arrived, Ethan and four of his comrades hoisted Senka onto a tarp, and used the four-wheeler to haul her back to Ethan's truck. A short discussion was had, and then Ethan began the long drive from the canyon down to his home in the southern portion of the mountains.
