Soul Taker & Others

The band of three horses had remained in the Canyon with their new quarry, and with any luck, a forth life would have been spawned on this day. At least, that was Shaded Moon's hope, for his luck with mares had been rather pitiful in all his years in the Valley.

Sarada had been given some space to move and graze in the hours following her ordeal, though any attempt at running would have any one of the three horses kicking or biting at her to drive her back within their little circle of control. It was Soul Taker who again approached her, as the sun was soon set to dip below the horizon, "You've had time to rest and regain your strength. Now we need help with our second problem." The ebony brute moved in closer to the young mare, with his body language still portraying aggression and red flags, while his voice remained calm and sweet. "We're going to take you to a place of humans, and you're going to distract them for us. Understand?"

Sarada

Her nostrils flared as she grazes hoping that her father may come looking. Her ears go back as he approaches. ** No humans aren't to be messed with I'm not risking my life** she'd say her freedom but she wasn't exactly free now was she

"You'll have Osmia's help." Soul Taker assured, as if that would somehow assuage Sarada's worries. He turned his back on her, moving away from the edge of the canyon where they'd kept the young mare so perilously close to, and began to trot in the direction of the forest and the sloping hills that led back into the heart of the Valley. One ebony ear was angled back, listening for his herd and their captive, while the other slender aud was turned to their distant destination.

Far more blunt and quicker to act, Shaded Moon didn't hesitate to give Sarada a smart nip on the flank, wanting to drive her forward. "Move."

Osmia didn't pay Sarada any mind, but she did stay relatively close to the other. Not out of companionship or fondness for the other, but simply to make sure Sarada didn't try to make a break for it. If the mare continued to resist their attempts at moving her, the elder mare would add a few bites and kicks in herself.

Sarada

** in that case I'll make sure to keep her between me and the humans she can be caught before me** she snorted she'd kick them every time they nipped or kicked her. She planned on bolting as soon as the stallion were a good distance. ** Don't know why u need me if she going to distract**

"That's not playing nice, little mare." Soul's soft voice carried over as he continued an idle pace away from the canyon, one ear trained constantly on Sarada, "We need you to help because I can't risk the lives of my two friends here. I don't want either of them getting too close to the humans. But Shaded has given you a good reason to fight, so I think you'll do just fine in helping our friend escape the humans." Without ever slowing down or looking back, Soul continued his march towards the distant stables.

Omsia and Shaded both offered tooth and flint to Sarada if she tried to bolt or refused to move, though Osmia was perhaps a little more temperamental in her assaults, each taking their fair share of of abuse from the willful young mare in return.
