Instead of going home she came here she put terri down and sat glaring across the canyon. She was planning on grabbing her other cubs and leaving the haunters but there was no way shed join the makucha

Zanarah & Dally

Some time passed between Nemu sitting at the edge of the canyon, and Zanarah emerging along a nearby trail. The liger had given her friend a bit of time to collect her thoughts and be alone before she stepped forward on near silent paws. "Nemu." Her voice was soft and quiet, announcing her presence if Nemu hadn't already heard her. She lingered a few yards away, waiting patiently for a response that would tell her whether she should move closer to the bereaved feline, or keep her distance. "I know you're hurting, I'm sorry for that. Would you mind some company?"

Dally was keen enough to keep his distance as well, though it was mostly out of necessity. The aging falcon coasted on the thermals sweeping up from the Canyon, gliding delicately here and there with few beats of the wing to keep him aloft. He'd leave the talking to Zanarah, while he kept an eye out for anyone that might try to take advantage of the two felines and the cub.

Nemu

Nemu couldn't take it. She had thought Dusquie dead but then Tuini and them forced them there and she found her sister alive and her sister basically sided with him and even this time she sided with them... Her ears twitched at the sound. She didn't loked back but she shrugged her shoulders .

Terri was silent.

Zanarah & Dally

With no resistance offered to her, Zanarah took that as permission to move closer. She paused beside Teri for a moment, looking at her thoughtfully before reaching down to nudged the top of the cub's head. The little one had gone through a lot already, Zana couldn't imagine how frightening it all must have been for her. She didn't yet know that little Teri was injured. Her crystal-blue eyes rose to Nemu and she took a step forward, to plant herself beside her friend. "It's Dusquei, isn't it? I never knew her... I was born after all of that happened. But Lemoar told me stories that he'd heard, that she use to live with the Haunters before.. leaving." Of course, Zana had heard only that Dusquei had betrayed the Haunters to join the Nuova, but both groups had merged back together.

Nemu

She sits there and stares down into the canyon. She feels terri rub up against her legs and then laid down. One ear on Zanarah. YesWas all she said.

Zanarah & Dally

A particularly fierce gust of wind rolled across the canyon tops, tugging wildly at Zanaraha's slate and creamy toned fur. She pinned her ears a moment against the roar of it, then perked them again at a not so distant crash of thunder. The smell of earth hung heavy in air, and if the ominous clouds above were any indications, the rain that was now pelting the lower Valley would soon reach them. Zana inhaled deeply, enjoying the musty tones of the soil. Her mood remained somber, though. "You still care for her?" That seemed like a foolish question in hindsight, because it was painfully obvious that Nemu cared enough for her sister to be so devastated by her betrayal. "You still have us, Nemu. And you will always have me. I may not be your sister, but I will always have your back. And yours." She smiled and leaned her head down a little closer to Teri, trying to cheer up the youngster, too.

Nemu

Nemu had searched countless days back before finding her sister. She had searched and would of searched till she died. But now that the search was over it only seemed to of brought heart break. How could her sister not demand Terri be brought home? Terri had told her what her sister had said and it hurt. Hurt to know her sister was so willing to cause her heart break. Her ears were back but she was listening to Zan.i knowWas all she could say.Please take Terri homeShe said.

Terri looks up at the two .Momma you not coming home?She said with a whine.

Zanarah & Dally

Her ears perked at Nemu's request, and part of her wanted to resist and stay with Nemu, if only to make sure the Makucha didn't try to trail them and capture her again. Or worse. A frown enveloped her feathers, drawing faint lines into the blue-gray fur of her forehead, "I can do that." Yet still she lingered for a moment, watching Nemu carefully, worriedly. In a quieter tone, she asked, "What do I tell Senka and Tersek? When will you be back?" The ligeress stood, with a single step bringing her almost upon Teri. Her head lowered, but she waited for Nemu's answer before she'd pick the cub up and make the trek back home.

Nemu

She listened. "That i needed time to think and by tomorrow" she said. Truth was she was not sure if shed return to stay or to get her cubs.

Zanarah & Dally

'They're not going to like this.' The worried notion crossed her mind, and perhaps some of it filtered into her expression as a slight crease to her soft eyes. "I can do that. I know I don't have to tell you this, but be careful out here this far from the Ruins." Ligeress looked skyward, struggling to verify Dally's presence for a moment or two, until the falcon soared in low from beyond the canopy of a few nearby trees. "He'll keep an eye out for enemies at least, and give you a heads up if any lurker too close. I don't know how effective he'll be once the storm hits, though." Zanarah lowered her head at this point, but paused, ears tilting back slightly, "Are you sure you're okay, Nemu?" Once confirmed, she would take Teri and returned to the Ruins.

Nemu

She just nodded.i will fineShe says as she moves away so Terri can be taken home.

Zanarah & Dally

Zanarah didn't quite believe her, but Nemu was an adult and she couldn't force her to come back. She smiled again, a soft look of worry laying blatant on her expression. "Take care, Nemu." She parted her jaws and carefully latched onto Teri's nape, lifting the cub up from the ground. Now that she had precious cargo in mouth, the ligeress moved with greater haste, picking her way carefully down the canyon and back towards the Ruins.

She just watched them go. She laid down with her head on her front paws and just remained silent
