Tyrant

Slowly the large brute entered the canyon terrain. His breaths short with thought and memory of the land he once called his home; a land he hoped he could call home once again.

This was his birth land, his arrival to the world just a few miles from here: The Ruins. A place he would never return to had he any say in it. Too much had happened to him in the past. Too much chaos, his birth terrain was now his kryptonite. For it was also the death land of his mother, sister, and brother.

With little reason to live, Tyrant moved on in search of a better life. One filled with loneliness and regret. Everyday stung him like the sun to a new pups eyes. Until one day he saw a miracle: In his travels he watched as a deer gave birth to one that was already dead. through her persistency and loving motherhood she urged the baby back to life. And when the young arose from death, he remembered why he was still alive: Things will always end, but it will never really be the end.

As a whole, life was great. Dramatic, but great.

He now lay down at the edge of the canyon, his crimson eyes bathing over the scene of what once calmed him. The effect differed only slightly, for now he was alone. And was sure he knew no one in the Valley. Is anyone I knew still alive? His age became apparent to him as his energy suddenly left him, and he grew tired. His mind fluttered. If they are, I'm sure they wont remember such an old bag as myself.

Crucifix

Crucifix was off to recruit for the vigilante's leaving his sister Black in charge while he was gone. His tail over his back an the smaller version of his father moved over the canyon and soon crossed a scent that he didn't really know yet in his mind he knew it. Maybe it was someone he came across as a pup or maybe distantly related? He followed it till he came across an older male. who are you? Why is your scent vagually familiar? He spoke.

Tyrant

Blood red eyes shot up to the younger wolf as it approached his resting area. The scent of a past he had almost forgotten gently wafted into his nose. His orbs narrowed at the male in question. Body growing tense with every step the new one took.

As the male spoke about familiar scents, he almost scoffed at the thought. "My name is Tyrant, son of Fallen and Vicious." the brute paused for a moment, thinking about how long ago his mother had passed on. And how infamous his father was, but would a younger wolf such as this remember the name of a tyrant such as Vicious?

He continued, more calmly now, "My siblings were Crucified and Risen..." He paused at their names, remembering both the good and bad times he had with his brother and sister. He gently whispered "It's been so long" at the thought of his old family, and instantly he was reminded of how lonely he really was.

Tyrant was in a daze for a second, but snapped out of it in no time. He regained his stare on the younger one before rising to his feet. His body would definitely dwarf the wolf in build, and a little in height. " And who are you?" He said with an expecting voice. Ready to hear what he deemed a wolf intro, he wondered if there were still some here who would follow the intro, or have they reduced their standards to that of a human?

Crucifix

Crucifix despite the fact that countless others told him his father had been against Risens ways and what not didn't care, he pretended his father was attempting to take over the valley. However; it really didn't matter now what his father had truelly been trying to do. No Crucifix wash is own self. Sure he was named after his grandfather on his fathers side but he didn't see what that mattered.

The other male spoke and the name did not register with his brain. His mothers name didn't either though Vicious. He heard the name before. Then he spoke of his siblings an dhe knew both of them. Well then. I am Crucifix Youngest Son of Kalaber and Black PlaqueHe spoke. He was sure this male would know his fathers name.

Tyrant

As Crucifix spoke Kalaber's name, Tyrant smirked for a moment. "Kalaber is your father huh? He is my nephew." There was a sudden pause and a look of discomfort on his face. Multiple thoughts had flooded his mind in that moment, and a staggering voice seemed to crawl out. "How is he?"

He knew there were chances that Kalaber had reunited with the rest of his family in the after life. But in case things were on the positive side, he offered the question as peacefully as he could.

He was also sure that he had met this wolf at least once before, but it had been many a full moon since the last time he even thought of breathing the air from the land of his home. "Do you know a wolf by the name Enola?" out of no-where, his puphood friend came to mind. Although his heart feared the worst, his mind played with the idea that she might still be alive so that he may one day speak with her.

Crucifix

He watched the older male and when he was sure the other was no threat sat down. He figured that this was his great uncle. He frowned and snorted. He is dead.As well my aunt Wither. He betrayed his allied the lurkers by going and living with the haunters for a while. I remember that. He finally went crazy ran to lyckos with Wither chasing after him and asked him to kill him. Wither wanted to save him and ended up getting bit by a poisionous snake. Lyckos did as kalaber asked and that was the last I heard of himHe spoke and yawned as if the story bored him.

His ears twitched at hte question. No I have not heard of herHe spoke.

Tyrant

Suddenly he remembered the fate his nephew and niece had fallen to and grew quite with respect for their passing. "Yes, I do remember that now." Wonder began to fill his mind, how have the years shaped the valley in his absence. All he could think about was the past, and he knew he had to drag his head from that spot and begin learning about the present.

"The Shadow Haunters, are they still being led by Greyfell? If so, what has their activity been in the Valley lately?" With that he had so many other questions, but he knew that too many at once would be overwhelming. one at a time.

As the other male became comfortable, Tyrant also settled down into a comfortable sit. Ears planned out to the side as he listened to the earth around him. He only wished things could go back to the way they were... before the Haunters. Before death became an everyday event in his life.

Crucifix

Crucifix sat there studying his uncle with a little interest more then he showed to some. His teeth bared at the haunters name.As far as I know Greyfell is leading them however a good portion has broken off. Other then that I wouldn't know. I have my own pack that im leading in changing the valleyHe spoke his tail flicked side to side. Sometimes he did wonder what his father might of done when Risen had fallen. But it would never be determined he was dead.

Tyrant

He glance shifted at the sound of another pack coming the rise in the Valley. Though there was a soft smile at the thought and memory of his sister's own ambitions. "Is that so?" He questioned, a bit of his arrogance filtering back into his mood. "And what changes do you wish to see in the valley, Crucifix?"

His body shifted, and he laid down once again. Taking in a deep breath, ready to hear another version of what he had already heard so many times. He was an old wolf, and with it: wisdom. "I will let you know right now, I am not one to take sides. Anyone who will remember me will let you know that as well. I moved from Haunter pack to Lurker pack, to Crucified's pack all the same. I never gave heads up, for it was not my place to do so. But then again, the way my life had molded around me and what others were doing, I sometimes wonder if I could have stopped it."

Crucifix

He sat there watching Tyrant. His ears twitched at his question. Everything I want to change. The place needs a strong leader cause its falling apart. He said. He then just nodded. If thats how you want it. He said. He had been hoping to maybe get tyrant on his side but it seemed like it wouldn't work..

Tyrant

At the words of the other, the larger brute seemed to settle in his place. Both physically and mentally. He now swore to himself that the only side he was ever going to take, was his own. " And what needs to change specifically? Who are the powerhouses here that oversee the Valley and it's well-being? If we want to call it that, for I will tell you, the last I stepped foot in this terra, you could hear the screams of death from every point of the land."

He paused, ears perked, trying to catch an audio wave of distress. "And today I hear nothing." The wind was all he could hear in his darkened ears, his body relaxed, much less tense was today compares to every memory he had of the Valley since his adult-hood.

He then lowered his gaze, meeting the center of Crucifix's forehead. Politely offered the other a challenge. "If you could tell me, everything I should be worried of, everything that is safe, and everything that I just shouldn't bother with, how would you tell me it? Speak as if I had never lived here before. From the Landmarks to the Powerhouses. Which creature's name is held on everybody's tongue?"

Crucifix

Crucifix watched him his eyes never wavering as he listened to everything Tyrant spoke and when he was finished he shut his eyes and then snorted. Yes you hear silence. But don't let that fool you. There is a war brewing a large one. The powerhouses? I would say right now that the three powerhouses is my pack the Cryptic Vigilante's, The Shadow Haunters and The Lurkers. There is a small group of traitors to the haunters that I believe reside in the basin but I don't know how big they are. Then there is my Aunts old pack which is now led by my cousin Doteni He spoke his eyes never blinking and his hackles slightly rising. He was starting to crave blood he hasn't killed in weeks and he had such a big blood lust it wasn't funny.
