Deception
Deception's hooves carried him here. Rocks upon rocks, that he started to climb, setting a pace. Soon he had made to the top, and his flanks were some what sweaty. He bowed his head for a moment simply listening as he broke down inside really. He had just lost his parents, and it was still fresh in pain to him. Blinking his eyes he looked around as his insides seemed to twist painfully from loss.
Shamen
Shamen had reached his full height of 17 hands high. He was jet black with blue streaks in his fur. His father was Soulbane who was still around. Soulbane was rather silent now for he had lost his father Comet. But Shamen missed his mother Tribulation who had vanished. Shamen moved up the canyon with little trouble. He had sweat on him sure but it didn't bother him as he walked the edge a bit and then stopped as he watched another stallion close by. He stomped a hoof.
Deception
Deception looked up at the sound of another equine's hoof striking. Orbs stared indifferent as if he didn't care. At first his features were hard and glaring as if he didn't want another being around him, but than his features loosened up to a cool facade. He plastered a fake smile on his face, why not be nice? Besides he might need friends later on.
"Hello...I am Deception son of Tyrror and Nuri." His voice broke a little bit on his parents name, but he didn't start crying or blubbering. No, he was done mourning, but the pain was still fresh to him.
Shamen
Shamen stopped and lifted his head to his full height. His ears on the other.Shamen, son of Tribulation and Soul BaneHe spoke. Grandson of Comett and even of Ruffienne strange ain't it? His mother was the daughter of Ruffienne and her father was the son of Comet.
Deception
Deception listened silently. He knew this was a relative of his parents enemies, but it didn't make him his enemy. He spoke next, his words neutral.
"Just because our parents or grandparents didn't get along dosen't mean we have to follow suit, unless you wish to?"
Deception didn't believe in his father's ways, but he still loved his parents. It was hard not to, they cared for him and he respected them. Simply not their methods of doing things. Shaking his mane out he waited for a reply his attention directed toward the other stallion.
Shamen
Shamen stood tall as he watched the stallion and listened.Well that all depends on you really, If you do the same things as your father did then it will be the same if you don't then it doesn't have to be that wayHe spoke.
Deception
Deception snorted before replying. A wry smile appeared on his face. He was enjoying this other stallion's presence. It wasn't everyday that he could talk friendly with his parents' enemies.
"I am not my father."
Hellcat wasn't too far away from the stallions. She stood her head lowered, almost touching the ground. She was oh so confused, after all she lost her memory in the fire. However when she did get it back, finding out that her brother and father are gone will nearly kill her from grief. Especially her twin, Pyro. The two had a bond, a connection, that made them really close. The young mare hadn't noticed the stallions yet, but it would only be a matter of time before one or the other noticed.
