Saber

The cliffs of the canyon dropped into a deep gourge. one wrong step and the blue wolf could go plummiting to her death. Saber hopped from one rock to another, carfully checking one after another. She faultered and slid down three feet. She let a scared shreik escape her mouth. Clenching to the rocks she regained her balance. She hopped down two more rockes and stopped at a small dip in the rocks. She squized in the small cliff cave and layed down.

Rampage

RAMPAGE
DYING is easy
It's the LIVING that's hard

Rampage had never really gotten a good chance to meet his mother. He and his siblings were just tossed in a den with their older sister while their mother and her mate ran to avoid certain death. To protect herself from Risen and Lyckos, no doubt, but also to protect Rampage, Ania and Prince. Rampage didn't spend much time with his full siblings. Truthfully, he hated them. Ania was clingy and Prince was never around anyway. Ania always went on and on about how she wished she could meet their father.

Rampage would kill his father if he ever met him. Sora, a massive, great beast of a wolf, attacked poor Tainted and that's how Rampage was born.

The black hybrid pulled himself away from those gruesome thoughts when he noticed a female wolf, a young one, hopping on the rocks. She reminded him a bit of Aurinka, his innocent aunt who was murdered by White Feathers. White Feathers' pelt may be white, but her heart was such a dark shade of black that it seemed to pull in any light that dared cross her path.

Rampage picked up the pace to follow Saber down toward the cave. He wasn't normally a sociable type, but every now and then, he was happy to make a new friend. He stood a few feet from the den. "Excuse me, are you alright? I saw you slip and...uh...I..." He was awkward around females. He always had been. His specialty was in fighting ruthlessly in the wars waged between his family and those who had a problem with them.

Gender: Male Timeline: One summer
Born: Second Born
Eye pigment: Gray
Muscle: 170 pounds
Skyscrape: Three feet at the shoulder
Painted: Pure black, with not another mark on him.
Structure: He has a coyote's body, inherited from his coyote grandmother Tahti. But he is massive, larger than even the average wolf. He has an enormous amount of strength, though his bones aren't as strong as they should be.
Persona: He is a fierce warrior. When he gets in a fight, he won't leave until it's finished. He has never forgiven those who broke his family and forced his mother to run. It's unlikely that he'll ever forgive them. Yes, he wants revenge. On his father, who forcefully brought Rampage into the world; on the Shadow Haunters and Shadow Lurkers, who wish his mother dead; on Kalaber's entire bloodline for 'tainting' the Valley and killing so many of Rampage's family; ...and on himself, as he bears the blood of those he so greatly despises. He is a vicious wolf.
Written: Rampage's mother, Tainted, was attacked by one of her greatest enemies in early August. This event is what created Rampage, as well as his brother and sister. He was born on August 22, 2008 and had always lived a stressful life. He was born into a life of war. Shortly after his birth, Tainted was forced to flee, as numerous packs wanted her dead. That was more than enough to send Rampage on a quest for revenge. He won't rest until those who have wronged his family pay for what they have done. If he dies fighting, so be it. He'd die fighting in the name of his mother.
Mother: Tainted
Father: Sora
Pack: The Rebels (Manahcob Downs)
Lover: No mate
Prodigy: No children

Saber

Her ice blue eyes shut just as a wolf came out of no were. She was startled by its sudden appearance. She sniffed the air that surounded her... Male. Her gaze suddenly turned to a glare and she barered her teeth. Her name had come from her unusally large fangs. She growled he Seemed to mean no harm but she didn't give him the chance to come close to the little caveren. "I FINE!" She snapped. She had never trusted males. That is why she killed them so often. Her fang's were smeared with dried blood. She gave him a bafled look. "Why aren't you running?" her tone turned to a confused soft voice. She wiggled further in the cave. She teeth still barred she waited for a answer from the black wolf.

Rampage

Rampage pinned his ears back against his head, snarling a bit. "You don't have to get bitchy about it. I was just asking." He snorted. One thing he couldn't take was hostility. It's what took his mother from him.

"I'm not running," Rampage began sarcastically, "because I'm not going fast enough to be running. I'm just walking. No, more like stalking or prowling." With that, he turned and began to walk away.

Saber

She stared a little longer. Why had she done that? She felt guilty. The whole reason for her coming here was to start new. Now she had just lost the chance to make a friend. She remembered Blood Claw and how he was the only male who was ever... nice to her. All the others were about finding mates and haveing cubs and he was the one who had killed all of them. She jumped up. "Hey! sorry about that..." This was hard for her to do. Sorry That was a hard word to say. And even harder when you don't mean it... She looked down in shame. Lucky for her she ment it. She wanted friends and family. She just didn't want them to be males. But that was some thing she would have to get used to. "I shouldn't have snapped at you like that." Her voice lowered to almost a wisper...

Rampage

The hybrid sighed and stopped where he was, not looking back as he rolled his eyes. He had heard countless apologies from murderers who went on to slay his kin. Apologies didn't work on him anymore. One bad deed was enough to change Rampage's opinion forever.

"And my dad shouldn't have raped my mom. Black Plaque shouldn't have killed my grandmother. White Feathers shouldn't have killed my aunt and cousin." He said, turning around with fire in his eyes. "The point is that we do these things. Every day, somebody screws up and loses a friend." Rampage wasn't a forgiving creature. The Rebels didn't forgive. They killed.

Saber

Saber sneered at this he was unaware of life. "You would kill to if you were I." Her voice was a snap once again. "It was self defence. If I hadn't killed then I would end up like your mother." Her voice was sharp like her teeth. Her eyes narrowed. "I haven't apoligized to a male for, well... NEVER!?" Her voice echoed through the canyon. "And I won't ever again. I wasted it on the likes of YOU." She turned started to sprint high up the mountin but slipped and fell a few feet. She had no patiance for males. All were freaks in her eyes. This was the first male she had talked to for real in a LONG time the only other male she ever talked to was Blood Claw. And now he was probably dead.

Rampage

Rampage shook his head. Saber sounded like a spoiled little girl who had never learned that boys don't actually have cooties and let her issues get out of hand.

"I already kill, kid. I'm blood-stained too." Rampage said darkly, not making eye contact. The Rebels were born to kill. They knew how to use their fangs. "It was self-defense against what?! What could I possibly do to--" He was cut off when Saber mentioned Tainted. "YOU LEAVE MY MOTHER OUT OF THIS!" He snapped viciously. Rampage wasn't a mean wolf, usually, unless somebody even brought up his mother. That could have very well earned Saber a death warrant. He was debating whether to shed her blood now or just walk away. And for the first time in his life, he walked away. He meant no harm to Saber. There was no need for her to get angry. If she hated males, that was her loss.

Saber

Saber didn't even care. "If you wish to kill me I don't mind!" She infact hated life it was life that put her in misery pack it was life that she had live with the millions of inbreed animals. While her family abandoned her and went to star pack. "In fact that is my goal in life!" She stood "You never had to go through what I did..." She stood and limped away this time... she had twisted her ankle...

Rampage

Rampage snarled at the pathetic pup. "I'm not going to kill you. I'm better than that." The black hybrid snorted. "I've gone through everything, bitch. I've been through worse." He had been through a lot, but he rarely spoke about it.

Saber

Saber looked back once more this time she was firiuse. "WHAT!? NOT EVERY THING!" Her voise thrashed like a whip. "YOU HAVE NEVER HAD FORCE BRED CUBS! YOU HAVEN'T LOST A LOVED MATE! YOU HAVEN'T BEEN THROUGH EVERY THING! NOT EVEN CLOSE!" Her eyes flared. She was an out cast. And an out cast she would stay. "MY LIFE IS ONLY FAILURE! WHEN YOU WERE A CUB WERE YOU TOSSED OUT OF YOUR PACK AND PICKED UP BY MISERY PACK!? HOW DARE YOU SAY YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH EVERY THING!" This time she wasn't going to leave, her mind was made. Males were a disaster! "HAVE YOU EVER HAD TO LIVE WITH IN BRED WOLVES WHILE YOUR PARENTS LIVED IN PARADISE! YOU HUMANE!" Shdidn't pause for a breath. She was pissed.

Rampage

Rampage hadn't had force-bred pups, that much was true. He was a force-bred pup, and he, even though he was a male, was raped by another male. Just remembering that made him nearly sick. But everything else, he had been through right here in the Valley. "I HAVE BEEN THROUGH FUCKING EVERYTHING, BITCH!!!" He shot back. He had been through more than what Saber said. His mate was murdered. Many of his kin were murdered. He is stalked by his father while his mother is hiding. He was taken from his mother as a young pup while she fled. He was raised by a bunch of psychos he didn't know. They all wanted to kill him, so he ran. His own freaking family was inbred. Hell, Rampage himself was inbred! Saber's words were complete and outright lies. Rampage had been through everything.

Saber

Saber froze. "... hm..." was all she said she ;imped down to the small caveren. They both had failed lives. "well... you failed too." She said in a quite voice she turned around and faced the wall of the cave. "Sorry to bring up your mother..."

Rampage

Rampage's heart was racing with rage. How could Saber have ignored what Rampage had been through? But that was the past. Predator, his aunt, would have told him to 'forgive and forget.' But his mother would have killed Saber right then and there.

Rampage sighed. "Yeah, I'm a failure. I always have been." He wasn't normally a strong believer in fate, but maybe the two were brought together for a reason. Rampage lowered his head. "Don't worry about it. I don't know why I reacted so strongly." He was always defensive about his mother. Saber was probably lucky to be alive having brought up dear Tainted. But Rampage, with the help of Isabel, Vale and Rowan, was becoming slightly more caring. "If you're not too mad, maybe we could be friends, yeah?" He never really had a real friend. Mostly just hunting partners.

Saber

Saber looked at him. "Really? Ok... Sure I'd like that..." She fliped over and looked at him. She limped up to him "Consiter me your friend then." She smiled and wagged her tail. "If you ever need me I'll be in the cave." Her stomach roared and tingled "But NOW I need food..." She limped over to a drop off at the very edge of the cliff. There were birds nests down in the cracks. The one who built a nest last would be in range... She made a attempt down the cliff and found a way to one nest. letting out a happy yip she scrambled into the nest and took all three of the eggs. She scrambled back up the cliff and into the den. She set them all down and rolled one to Rampage

Rampage

Rampage smiled, probably for the first time since Aurinka died. Saber might be his first true friend. The hybrid sat down next to the cave, as if protecting Saber. He himself was a bit hungry, having not eaten in a while. He let out his own happy yip when his new friend was successful in retrieving the bird eggs. He bowed as she rolled one to him. This was the first gift he had ever been given. "Thank you. I'm Rampage, by the way. Member of the Rebels. Son of Tainted and..." He lowered his voice to a disgusted growl as he prepared to say his 'father's' name. "...and Sora." He clearly hated his father, and for good reason.

saber

Saber cracked open a bird egg and took the disfigured chick out. With a single gulp it was gone. She looked at Rampage only now realizing they didn't know each others names. "My name is Saber. Daughter of the unknown." She rolled the other egg to him and rolled on her back. "I'm full enough."
