Pumpkin

Pumpkin was 2 and a half years old now and so where her siblings. Her parents finally allowed hre to venture off on her own for short times of the day but she was warned of the shadow haunters and males.She began to walk slightly close to the edge of the canyon looking down it.She only weighted 750 lbs but that was still alot compared ot others.She was still a kitten at heart.

Jake

Jake was laying in a tree when he heard something.Glancing diown he saw a femalew tiger.It looked like she was looking down the canyon.Jumping down siulently he smiled at her."I hope your not planning on jumping,"he said trying to be polite.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin was frightened when she heard a thud behind her and she almostfell over the edge but caught herself and turned to face the male,No, quick to conclusions aren't you?She spoke her tail gave a flick.Being so heavy her species usually never climbed trees.

Jake

Jake gave a small laughter at what she said."I guess so.Quick to know what people think like aren't you,"he added his on question to her with a small smile."Sorry if i scared you earlier too,"he said refering to when she almost fell.

Pumpkin

She snorted and shook her head.Yah well you ought to be sorry, You ought to know not to sneak up on others like thatshe spoke and sat down and began to groom herself.

Jake

Jake smiled at what she said."Sorry its just second nature,and i didn't know if you were a threat or not,"he said.He licked his paw and then looked back up at her.

Pumpkin

She snorted and shook her head.A threat? If i was hungry I might be but im not my mothers pride has enough food stored that i don't need to huntShe spoke.

Jake

Jake laughed."I never hearsd of a tiger killing another to eat them,"he said with a teasing smile.He flickwed his tail silently.

Pumpkin

She listened.Well then i guess i'm not a threat to you...She spoke and soon layed down.

Jake

Jake smiled at the younger tiger.He watched her with half closed eyes."I should say so,"he said.Although he looked relexed his ears were pricked listening for any threats or danger.

Pumpkin

She listened.I am Pumpkin, Daughter of Gaara and White Claw

Jake

Jake nodded his head at what she said."I'm Jake,"he said politly.A smile on his face still.Ears flicked back and then forward again.

Finally feeling comfortable in his presence she let herself fall to lieing on her side.Her head still raised.

Jake

Jake glanced around then back at Pumpkin."Where did you come from,"he asked her.He meant what territary and what gorpu.Haunters whatever.

Pumpkin

Her mother use to be a haunter and risen wanted her mother dead for betraying her but pumpkin didn't care.,B>I am from Sapphire brook a pride of big cats

Jake

When he heard what she said his head jerked up."I heard of that place.Some female tiger betrayed the haunters and now they want her dead for being a traiter,"he said.He didn't know her name though.

Pumpkin

She listened and snorted.She shook herh ead.My mother, She didn't like what they do to mothersShe spoke and yawned.

Jake

Jake nodded huis head to what she said."Can you tell me what happened,but you don't have too,"he added incase it made her mad.He didn't want to after all it was her mother.

Pumpkin

She yawned.What my mother told me and what my grandmother told me. My grandmother had escaped from a zoo and had followed another to the shadow haunters, She was allied with them more then part of them. She didn't do much when she was there. Then she realized where some of the pups they were getting came from and learned how they had gotten them. She didn't believe risen or any of them on why they took them. She was scared that if one day she had cubs they would be snatched from her so she left and wondered then she ran into an old friend and had cubs. She lived with the Ancient Gaurdians then she was force bred but another tiger and had cubs and now she owns her own land and is opposed to the haunters

Jake

Jake smiled when he heard the story."I don't blame her if it was me i leave too,"he said."Wouldn't you,"he asked her curiously.

Pumpkin

she shrugged.ProbablyShe spoke and yawned again and then rolled in the snow.

Jake

Jake smiled at what she said.Then seeing her roll in the snow and idea came to his head.Taking his paw he lowered it in the snow.Then all of a sudden he jerked it up sending snow in Pumjpkins direction.He watched a smile on his face waiting for her reaction.

Pumpkin

Being young she still had her cub playfullness so when he sent the snow and it landed in her face she shook her head and went barreling playfully at him and attempted to tackle him.

Jake

Jake smiling when she lunged at him.He attempted to use his bigger wait and pin her down.If that didn't work the he tried to nip her ear playfully.

Pumpkin

She was succesfully pined.she was only 750 lbs.She layed there her paws up and then she licked her face and smiled.Her tail flicking.

Jake

Jake laughed when he saw he had pinned her.Then he loosened up his muscles silently.Pretending he wasn't strong enough to hold her down.If she heaved strong enough she be able to push him off.If she did then he attempted to nip her other ear this time.

Pumpkin

She stayed pinned. She licked at his face lightly and then pulled her face back and smiled her tail flicking.

Jake

Jake licked her back.Then stood back and let her get up.He had a smile on his face as he waited.Tail curled up then uncurled silently.

Pumpkin

She slowly got up by lieing on her side and then slowly got to her feet and shook her body and then pounced on him again.

Rajsa had gone in search of her children now and grandchildren and stumbled upon these two.She let out a roar and stepped forward.She nuzzled Pumpkin.who is your friend my child?SHe spoke. Oh yes the famous traitor to the haunters surely the haunters weren't out to get her today.

Jake

Jake laughed when she pounced.Then he turned his head when he heard another voice.Silent he stood watching the two.Who was the new tiger.Was itr a sibling,mother,or grandmother.Either way he bowed his head to the female."Hello i'm Jake,"he said.

Pumpkin

she nuzzled her grandmother back.jake this is my Grandmother RajsaShe spoke.

Rajsa:She listened.This male was okay so she calmed down.Pleasure to meet you, You aren't allied with the haunters right?She spoke.

Jake

Jake smiled and was glad he dipped his head."No i'm not i belong to Sunset Beach Pack,"he said.They were alligned with no one at the moment.A smile on his face he awaited their reaction.

Midget

The 600 son of Rajsa came running by and slid to halt.Momma Momma Trouble!He cried and then ran back to the prairie!

Rajsa nodded and then listened.she then followed her son quickly.

Pumpkin.You coming?She said and then followed.

Jake

Jake followesd silent as a snake.
