Two Standard Schnauzers roamed along the edge of the cliff. Wolf, the gray one, was in the lead. Suddenly, Marcus leapt off after a rabbit. Wolf rushed after him. "Marcus! What are you doing" He shouted. Marcus didn't turn around, but still answered his question. "I found some food for us!" But the rabbit got away, leaving the brothers hungry. "Oh, well. We'll find some more food later." Wolf said. "But for now we should take a break." He sat on the ground, panting and looking around, while Marcus rested in the shade.
She was young. No more then four months, but already there seemed to be a cold darkness in her eyes, a shadow of temper ever present in her movements, as if she were defying the world, defying herself. She was the daughter of the now deceased Aaka, and the dark soul Legosa. When Aaka had been murdered, here at this canyon, and Legosa had heard the news both he and Liam, the dark soul that Aaka had saved, had gone insane. Liam was consumed with hatred, just as Legosa was. This hatred, this darkness, lived so deeply inside of Reaper that no one believed that she would make it past her first year. Now that she had left her family, she'd never go back. She would never return to the pathetic souls that called themselves wolves. Pathetic. Worthless.
Her puppy eyes fell onto the two brothers, and a soft growl escaped her. Her head came down, as she had seen her white mother do, and she stalked towards them. Pathetic. She hissed. Couldn't even catch a rabbit. She had seen her 'family' do it countless times. Hunting. Killing. Destroying. You two won't last three days out here. She hissed to them. Darkness. Hatred. Wrath.
Marcus looked up when he heard the voice. "Look who's talking..." The black dog replied, annoyed. Wolf growled at the female. "I'm sorry to smash all your hopes and revolting dreams, but we've lasted more than a few years out here."
Her laughter was dark and malice filled. Really? Prove it. She seemed dangerous, even at this young age and she sat down, her tail curling around her body as she smiled. Her eyes were dark, brooding, and hating. She'd kill them when she was older..... She would be just like daddy dearest.
Wolf shook his head and sighed. Then, without warning, he struck out at Reaper's face. Marcus came around the other side and made an attempt at closing his jaws around her spine.
A lone female wolf apperaed. Her parents had died leaving her alone to defend for herself. She saw two male pups picking on a female.Racing forward she barrowled into the two males and said coldly is this how you treat a female wolf? She snaped at one of the pups reaching for his tail to punish him for picking on a helpless pup.
Walf turned around and growled at the wolf. "You fool, the pup was asking for it. Literally. She wanted a fight!" The dog said. Marcus bared his teeth at Firestorm. "Get your nose out of things you can't understand, squirt!" He snarled.
A snarl escaped her as first one male attacked, then the other. She had dodged the spine attack, but felt his fangs bury into her side. She turned towards the offender, when suddenly they were both bowled off her. I can take care of myself. She bristled, but she didn't mind. Relief filled her, but she didn't show it. She was proud, much to proud, like both her parents. She felt an odd feeling in the pit of her stomach at the thought of her mother, but she didn't let it grow into something worse. Watch who your talking to! She snarled, ready to lunge at Marcus now. She could beat them. With the help of Firestorm.
She snarled and said I'm no squirt and i'll prove it.She lunged at them full of fury and added two against one is still not fair. She aimed a good blow at one of the male pups hoping it meet.Once they were willing to talk she might be able to find out what was wrong.
Marcus shook his head. "You're both idiots!" He snarled, dodging their attacks. "I just came here to hunt, and this fool here started a fight! And now her stupid dumb pet is helping her?!" He shook his head and backed away. "You're both foolish pups. Satanic..."
Wolf growled. Why the heck were these two attacking him? He figured they were probably suffering from brain damage. "Back off, dumb dogs." He growled in a deathly tone as he tried to defend himself from their next attacks.
Once they stopped fighting she decided to try and get some answers.First of all i don't belong to anyone and my brains working just fine she snarled. Now can someone please explain whats going on turning to the males she said i'll hear your side first then hers she said jerking her head to the female.
Marcus was about to step up, but Wolf stopped him. He would do the talking. "We were out here trying to hunt. We lost our prey, and the female called us pathetic and said we wouldn't last long out here. I informed her that we had been out here for years. And then the female wanted us to prove it. She asked for a fight. And she got her way." The gray male said, not one bit amused with either of these. He didn't like it when pups acted like they were higher than him.
Firestorm listened to what wolf said. Silently she stood up and turned to the female pup and said explain your side of the story. She knew if what Wolf said then she had been in the wrong.Silently she waited for an answer. She would have to choose who was telling the truth if one of them was lieing.
She knew when to play her cards right, so she sat down and gave Firestorm wide, innocent puppy blue eyes. But.... Why would I... A mere defenseless pup say such things to these two gentlemen? I have done no wrong... and there was her mother. The liar, the witch.
Confused Firestorm didn't know what to do.Glancing between the two wolves her gaze landed on Wolf and Marcus. Is it true what she saids she asked the two.If none of them didn't tell the truth then she have to decide.
The gray schnauzer rolled his eyes. "So I have to sit here and let a stupid pup and a dirty liar judge me?!" Wolf growled. "Come on, Marcus. Let's leave these baboons to their childish games." He had told the truth - everything he said was true. It was Firestorm's loss if she didn't believe him.
Marcus shook his head, annoyed, and followed his brother.
Firestorm was curious. She always wanted to know the truth about something.Quickly she decided to follow them and observe their behavior to find out who was lieing.Once they were gone she said a hasty good bye to the female pup and began tracking the male pups.
