Razor; Black Ivory

Razor moved in, shoulder blades swimming on his back as he made it to the base of the large earthen structure. Turning his head to the group he waited for everyone to arrive.

Black Ivory frolicked in and immediately began to climb up the wall toward a small ledge just her size. It was only three feet off the ground but it seemed a very high place for the tiny pup. "Roar" She barked happily.

Razor gave somewhat of a smile before turning his attention to wait for the others.

Enshalla

Enshalla followed Razor to the Canyon. "So the training begins." She said to herself, keeping an eye on all the pups.

Omen

The young wolf had parted with his brother and sister and followed after the group he was to be training with. Every muscle in his frame twitched and bunched with anticipation, every step that took him closer to their destination gave him an excitement like no other. He knew this would be good. His ideal job.
Stalking to the group, he stood by a rock and began climing over it, onto the top to look out over what land was visable to him. A wicked little grin was what spread across his maw, eager to begin the lessons.

Razor

The black wolf looked around the canyon. Trying to eye what could be done. They were to start their training now, no questions asked, and in six months, the group would be the gods of their designated terrains.

Spying a steep yet climbable wall, Razor smiled and moved over to it. "Alright pups. We'll start here." He said, heaving himself onto the steep wall, struggling a bit to get to the top fifteen feet above the ground. The wall was at about a 75 degree angle "This should keep you busy for a while." He smiled down at them before explaining. "These are not just endurance races, but skill races. You will have to have the skills to climb this if you are to become cliff-fighters. Get comfortable with this obstacle... When I give the word. You will race up here. The last one up Does not get food tonight." He said looking down at them.

Black Ivory was sitting on the ground, growling at the cliff, though her tail still wagged. She caught a glimpse of a trench along the side of the wall. Though she wasn't sure if it would hold her.

"Go!" Barked Razor.

Black growled at the sudden command and tried to simply scale the wall the old way. But quickly failed at the attempt. Over and over and over, she couldn't get higher than four feet up. She dug her claws into the side, pushed her belly against the rock, and even tried to hold on to the wall plants with her mouth, but to no avail.

Bergamot & Yarrow

Bergamot was terribly excited, as his wagging tail could attest too. Just getting away from the Temple was one thing, but to compete with others was particularly thrilling.

Yarrow wasn't particularly excited about it, though she was determined to prove herself in this six-month long excercise. Being the only one of her litter mates still with the Haunters, she felt as though she had to make up for their absence.

When the order was given, the two youngster went after the well. Yarrow had the distinct advantage of being feline, and launched herself up a few good few past Bergamot. She also had the benefit of curved claws and a more flexible body. What she didn't have, unfortunately, was experience. Just as soon as she hit the wall, she began to slide back down as the rocks and scree gave way.

Bergamot didn't have much luck at first either. His excitement was too great, and he took it more as a game than anything. The pup leaped and scrambled at the wall, not focusing on where he should place his paws or where to watch for loose rocks.

Black Ivory .+. Razor

Growling with frustration, Black continued to push herself up. Getting just five feet from her goal before falling back to the earth."Awe C'mon! That's unfair" She snarled.

"Nothing is fair, get use to it and fight around it." Growled Razor, trying to piss of and provoke the pups to try harder. Black growled deep in her throat and continued her attempt to scale her goal.
