Shiro

Shiro, wanting to get away from the crowded packlands for a while, wandered to the canyon. She looked around and yawned, then lied on her side.

Coriscan

Though he was half pit bull, Coriscan had a long, pointed muzzle and tall, triangular ears. His body was stocky and muscled though, and the base of his skull was broad. Tan and brown were the main colors, except for the tip of his tail, which was white. And being almost half wolf, with a touch of collie and shephered mixed in, Coriscan was a wild looking canine. It was his first owner, John, who had given him the name of 'Fox'.

Coriscan knew very little of his 'fellow' Lurkers. He vaugely remembered Tahirah and Aidan, and didn't know that Ankh and the others were his relatives. All he knew was that he was a Haunter, and that his pack had been attacked. For this reason, he had gone out on patrol, to be sure there were no enemies to threaten his family.

The white wolfess was quickly spotted amonst the browns and greens of the landscape. Coriscan paused for a long moment, picking over the scent he caught of Shiro. Was she an enemy? Something about her smell seemed familiar... he was sure he had caught the same odor lingering on his packmates when they returned from battle.

But... she didn't look like an 'evil' wolf, as Nachi had told him about. In fact... oh, dare he think it? She looked pretty, sleeping there. How could such a creature be evil?

Still, he had to do his job. "Who are you?" Coriscan barked out, holding himself high, but not aggressively.

Shiro

Shiro raised her head and stared at Coriscan. "It is unwise to ask a stranger's name before you have stated your own." She said firmly, though her wagging tail showed that she was a friend. Her overprotective brother told her never to tell her name to a stranger, unless you know his name.

Coriscan

Coriscan was taken aback by the response, but her wagging tail caused his own to sway slightly. He was sure now, this couldn't be an evil wolf. Maybe she was one of the lucky pups who escaped the evil ways of the others? It had to be.

"Heh, ok. My name is Coriscan." To this, he gave a slight bow of his head, tail waving even more. "What is gorgeous one such as yourself doing out here, all alone?" There was a grin on his fox-like muzzle, though there were no ill intentions on his mind.

Shiro

The white wolfess smiled and stood up. "And I am Shiro. I have come here to get away from the crowded territories. I needed fresh air." She replied, bowing her own head respectfully.

Coriscan

He gave a soft laugh, "I understand what you mean. My own home is quite crowded." Coriscan replied. A young adult himself, he wasn't so focused on the task at hand - patrol the area. Shiro was all he needed to loose track of his job. "If you're looking for fresh air, this certainly is the place to find it!" He commented next, stepping close to the edge as he looked at the vast land below. "That's a long ways down.."

Shiro

Shiro smiled and continued to wag her tail. "Oh, yes. It's lovely." She sighed contently. She looked over the edge of the canyon as well. "Wouldn't want to fall down there..."

Coriscan

He shook his head, "No way." He had grown use to living in the mountains by now, but he had a healthy fear of heights. "By the way, where do you live?" Coriscan asked suddenly, cocking his head to the side.

Shiro

Shiro smiled and looked back at Coriscan. "I live at the Calypte Ranges with my brother." She informed politely. "I can lead you there, if you'd like."

Coriscan

"Oh yeah? I've never heard of that place before." He responded, head tilted to the side still, "Sure, I'd like to see it!" Coriscan said next, tail waving with enthusiasm. Oh, how easily he could be distracted.

Shiro

Shiro wagged her tail and bounded off. "It's this way!" She barked.
