Solo

The large black wolf reached the top point of the cliff he had been wandering aimlessly on. He took short casual strides, swinging his banner low behind him, and his dial leveled with his shoulders. He was a loner, always had been, always would be. He never liked that pack life. He loved this freedom. Besides, it was hard to find good company these days.
Finally he stepped to the very edge and simply gazed down with those blended eyes, a bit eerie against the backdrop of black fur. Boredom was overtaking him, and he was even beginning to feel as though he should do a bit of sky diving. He may be a bit strange, but he wasn't that crazy. Sighing deeply, he simply sat there, as if searching for something below to do.

Bane

From an outcropping that stood about ten feet above the canyon, the deep gray wolf had an excellent vantage point to watch Solo wander around the canyon. His single eye followed the other brute in interest for several minutes before he finally spoke out. Thinking of taking flying lessons? It was a dark, twisting tone that brought to mind blood and thicker things, and the sound of demons screaming. His single good eye rested upon Solo, awaiting an answer.

Solo

Solo was still looking out over the land, though his gaze was slowly beginning to turn into a stare. He wanted something exciting or he may just fall over sleeping. Bad thought-- he'd just go right over the cliff. Then he wouldn't have to worry about boredom or any problems of life. At this, he suddenly snapped out of it and gave another sigh. Then he happened to turn his head right as Bane began speaking. At first, he didn't think the words were meant for him, but then he realized they were the only two up there. Growling very lightly, he gave a gruff snort, "Flying is for the birds," he stated, licking his chops. That reminded him, he was hungry. Now he turned to Bane, despite his growling stomach, he stared hard at him, more of like a hardening glare. "So just who is this forward wolf before me?" he asked, speaking of what Bane's name was.

Bane

Bane let a bit of dark laughter leave him, and he laid his head between his paws, gazing down at Solo. Forward, nothing. I'm a jackass, and proud of it. Bane, son of White Noise, heir to Sora Asiatic territory, NOT at your service. And he gave a mock bow before he spoke again, voice oily, but somehow charming. And who is the discourteous brute before my grand self? His lips smiled, but his eyes were lit with a fire that belied the smile.

Solo

Solo gave a snicker at the others words, and shook his head with a yawn. "This discouteous brute standing before you is the very magnificent Solo," he stated in reply, his voice a bit low, but quite audible. "And I guess you don't deserve my service; not like I have any," he then said, chuckling. Two could play at that game. "And why would such a grand as yourself be wandering the canyon steps?" he then asked, raising an invisible brow.

Bane

Bane too, gave a chuckle, finding Solo quite amusing in his turn. My grand and formidable self is taking his royal tour of the canyon steps in expectation of one day reshaping it to suit his purposes, oh magnificent Solo. What purposes might your maginificent self have here, might I inquire?

Solo

Solo was thinking why such a wolven would want to test out his skills of wording, but he shrugged it off. After all, that may not even be the case of this. However, he found it all too amusing in itself, and he quickly thought up something to say in return. "My own magnificent self has taken up lone residence upon the steps of the canyon and all its granduer." he stated, and then gave his head a small tilting nod, "And I believe I've been discovered,"
