Aava & Esprit

Esprit had come back to her usual ledge in the canyon, where she could overlook much of the valley. It was so peaceful and serene, she couldn't help but come here to think things over and spend time to herself. But this time she wasn't alone, for her mother came along. The crazy wolfess had followed after her daughter without a care. At this, Esprit felt a bit bothered by, but at least she could keep an eye on Aava. Too many times had the alphess gone and gotten herself into trouble. And for what? Total greif over an unexpectedly fallen mate and daughter. A good reason perhaps, but Esprit wished the results hadn't turned out this way.

Halting on her thinking ledge, she took a seat on her haunches, staying a foot or so away from the edge. She wouldn't let her mother's actions get across to her, for she still had much of her life ahead of her, and she couldn't turn down the same road as her mother. So with those thoughts, she went over her ideas and future, which would hopefully become something fulfilling.

Aava had been tredding along after Espirt with those same dull and emotionless eyes, though deep within there was a spark. Anyone could tell. Not just any wolf could pull it off like Aava, for she had a disastrous, ill-'minded' brain.
Coming up a ways from Esprit, she sat far from the ledge, within the shadows of the rocky canyon walls. She then layed there, her face taking on a suddenly serious, deep-in-thought look, as though pending on her own life.
