Plum puddin' slowly clambered onto one of the ledges of the cliff and pressed herself as close as she could to the wall of the canyon. She let up a little, pup, howl for help as if she were saying "please some one help me!! I need a home and some- one to fix me up!!" being young she did not know how badly she was hurt, she had a punctured lung and her left ear had been torn half of, she was also bleeding from her back and a long gash was going down her snout. She then layed down and began whimpering, praying that someone would come.
Traveling from his home in the Ochotona Mountains, Kanan made his way along the Canyon at a quick pace. The wolf's sleek coat was mostly a snow-white color, aside from the mask of gray that covered his face. And like his late mother, Kanan had stunning blue eyes. But it was not his coloration that madehim stand out; it was hisl ack of tail. He had only part of his tail left, thanks to an unlucky encounter with humans last year.
Desite this, Kanan was still a very up-beat wolf who looked on the bright side of things. And like his good friend Nightcrawler, he held an unwavering compation for those who were misfortunate.
When the pup's crys rang out, Kanan quickened his pace. Traveling swiftly but carefully along the steep trail, he soon came across the badly wounded youngster. With no tail to convey his good-intentions, Kanan drew his ears back and lowered his head as he approached Plumb, "What happened to you?" He asked, his voice filled with concern and alarm as he think about how to help this pup. Should he call for his alphas? Or attempt to take her all the way to the Woodland Farm?
Plum puddin' looked weekly up a the wolf "hunters" she replied quietly. Her eyes flickered and she passed out.
Alarmed, Kanan moved in closer, "Hey, are you... uh oh." She had passed out. Kanan moved in closer, nudging the youngster. He could see that she was wounded badly, but he couldn't tell what might have caused the injuries.
Not sure what else to do, Kanan sat down beside Plum Puddin' and began to clean her wounds as best as he could, hoping that she would wake up.
Plum puddin' whined a bit at first but soon she was completly silent and her cuts/ wounds were bleeding terribly.
It wasn't long before Kanan's white coat was stained with crimson, as he continued trying to cleanse the wounds and stop the bleeding. "Just hang on..." He whispered, but wasn't sure if Plum heard him or not. Unsure of what else to do now, Kanan lifted his head to the heavens and howled, hoping that someone would hear.
