Disaster

The bird soared high over the Canyon, his eyes taking in everything. It was what he was made to do. He dive bombed suddenly, and landed with a soft screech on a rock. If he sat here, maybe others would think he was not dangerous. Least not as dangerous as he was in the air. His keen eyes looked around once more, then he let out a screech, calling for Ventisshou, Pepper, and any others that opposed the Shadow Haunters. He had found another to fight against Risen, one much stronger then Hidden Betrayal.

Ventisshou & Pepper

Ventisshou was laying out on an exposed rock, basking happily in the warm sun. However, at the sight of a shadow flaring across the ground, she made a quick dash for cover. She may be able to kill just about any creature with a simple bite, but she still had predators. The rattlesnake lay in a crevice, ready to stay there until Disaster flew away. And she would have to, if he hadn't suddenly called out for help. She thought instantly of Solange, the stag with those crazy antlers that she rode in as he brought her up here to the Canyon. She had killed a human for those deer, and in turn they had given her a free meal. The act had inspired her, leaving her more open to future opportunities.

Slowly, the serpant slid out from under the crevis, her brilliant, unblinking eyes looking up at the raptor. "I'm curious, hawk, why you are calling for allies?"

There was a second responder, too. Hesitant at first, because she was so much smaller than him, Pepper came flitting up from her roost a few yards away. She too had experienced the help of another species. A white wolfess by the name of Aaka had saved her life once, after humans shot her from the sky and left her for dead. Alighting on a branch a few feet away, she bobbed her little head and tilted it to the side in a curious manner, ready to listen in on what Disaster had to say.

Promise

The achromatic wolf came romping up with a flick of her white tail. Yellow orbs saught the bird and slowly approached. Her eyes quivering as she stepped over the snake and toward Disaster. "What is this calling?" She asked, chilling yellow eyes flickering. She was a daughter of Vicious, but acted nothing alike. Her black head, neck and body glistened more than normal, hollow shafts illuminating with the lights around her. Her legs and tail were ivory white, as they flail about her body.

Disaster

He bounced a bit when suddenly so many creatures came out of nowhere at one time. The harris hawk ruffled his feathers and let out another cry with a soft hiss after it when the wolf came up. He didn't like being on the ground with another predator near by that he didn't know. Trust, you must trust. My name is Disaster, and I reside no where. I was once a Shadow Haunter, but am no longer. They killed an innocent being, one of many, that was a close friend of mine and now, now I fly free trying to find others that maybe think like me. You see, I am not a harsh being, rather quite nice, I've only killed an innocent, maybe thrice. It was for food, this I assure, but for this, there is no cure. Please, if you will, hear my plea. There is yet another, who is just like me. His name is Baphomet, and a devil he is, but he shall gain revenge, upon the those heathens. Once more the Valley shall be of peace and not war, of this I am sure. And with that the bird waited, feeling someone sated now that he had spoken words of truth, and nothing more.

Ventisshou & Pepper

The 4 and a half-foot black serpant coiled herself up at the approach of the wolf, but did not see Promise as a predator. With her rattle stilled, she turned her ever-gazing eyes from the wolfess to Disaster, listening to the interesting tale that was told. "I would like things returned to normalcy. My winter den is in the Ruins, but there are so many creatures there now, the Haunters... it is too hard to sleep in the cold months with all that racket. It may not be so noble a reason as yours, but there is another concern I have. Word has reached me that some past friends have been slaughtered, without just reason." The snake looked to Promise for a moment before back to Disaster, "If there is any way I can help your cause, I will do that."

Pepper hadn't been affected by the wars in the Valley up till this point, and so she didn't really have any reason to pick a side; other than she leaned towards the innocent. When the snake had finished her speech, the kestrel spoke up, "If I may inquire, Disaster, who is all on your side? Though I don't pay particular attention to the activities of the wolves and such, I know that there is quite a large and unusal group living at the Ruins. If you plan a revolt against them, surely you have a diverse collection of allies on your side?"

Story and the Squirrels

The Mexican Jay flew to where she heard the call of Disaster. She landed on a branch and watched him. "Is there something we can help you with?" She asked.

She was soon accompanied by a Rock Squirrel and two Eastern Fox Squirrels. Susie, the Rock Squirrel, climbed up the tree that Story was perching in. Her 'children,' David and Stephanie, climbed half-way up and watched Disaster. "What do you think the bird wants?" The albino female whispered.

"I'm not sure. I think Mom and Story have an idea." Replied the black male.

Disaster

Again he ruffled his feathers as yet more came. This is what he wanted, sure, but you must remember. He couldn't walk fast enough to get away from...Well, anything but a slug. At the others question, he said in reply We don't have many yet, that is why I am calling. We have Baphomet, who is our lead. Vision, her sister Elemental, and soon others, many many others. He turned to the Mexican Jay, and a look of distress flickered in his eyes. He had to say it all over again? My name is Disaster, and I come here seeking allies against the Shadow HAunters. Well....That wasn't so hard. Yeah, okay he could do this. Happiness flickered in his eyes now. He wasn't doing that bad!

Story/Susie/David/Stephanie

Story nodded. "We will aid you in any way we can." She said.

"Well, dear, we can offer everything we have. We have little strength, but we are quick and wise." Said Susie, flicking her tail and watching the snake.

David smiled and looked at his sister. "Yeah. We're smart. We can think up a plan so fast that those bad guys won't know what hit them!" Stephanie said excitedly.

Promise

The shining wolfess nodded to the others as they spoke about the Haunters. She wasn't much to mind them, but she didn't like the curruption they were creating. Little did she know her full blooded sister was on their side. Absolute would stay loyal to the ASH if he was approached. "Baphomet. Alright. But do you know when we should prepare ourselves for an attack from them?" she was scared, were the Haunters going to attack all?
