Zhener

The wedge-tailed eagle was resting on his stomach now with his wounded wings stretched out slightly at his sides. Unable to fly, he couldn't get food. He could get water either and was therefore very dehydrated.

Rain

Dark hued wolfess saw the dehydrated bird and looked at him closely, she had never seen a bird like him before. But sense he looked so weak she didn't think he would hurt her. Taking a small step towards him she spoke, "hello, I'm Rain, can I help you? I promise I want hurt you, you have my word" she said kindly; If he was nice to her she would help him.

Zhener

He lifted his head weakly and watched the wolf with glossy eyes. He was too weak and too exhuasted to speak allot, much less put up any sort of fight. But being his talktative self, he replied, "I 'em Zhener. Zhere vas a big fight; vith many volves. Zhey attack me, zhen left." he tried to explain before dropping his head down. "You a nice volf, Rain?" Giving a tired sort of sigh, he let his weary body relax more.

Rain

She frowned a bit, why would a wolf hurt such a nice animal? She then listened to his questioned and nodded, "I am nice, I want hurt you, I promise. It's nice to meet you Zhener" she said with a small smile. She then noticed his broken wing, "I know of a place that you can get that fixed, and you'll get food and water." She said. If he wanted her to take him to the Woodland farm she would.

Zhener

He lifted his head once more upon hearing this, "Zhere is a place like zhat? Vith food an' vater?" he tried to pick himself up, but hissed with the pain it brough to his wings. "Vhere is such a place? I vould like to go zhere." he said hopfully.

Rain

She smiled and nodded, "yes there is a place like that, I grew up there. One thing though, it is a human that helps you, but she would never harm any creature, I am sure of it." She said. "Now that you know that there is a human there, do you still want to go? If you do then I can carry you if you like".

Zhener

He froze for a moment after hearing about the human. It was humans who had captured him and taken him away from his homeland. They kept him trapt in a tiny cage, shipped him around, and starved him. Yet he knew he'd die if he just stayed here, and his will to live was strong. "Alright, I vill go... I vill trust you." he said after a long pause. "Zhank you, Rain." he added then and struggled to get to his feet with his large wings drooped akwardly at his side and his head hung low.

Rain

Rain nodded, "if anything does happen that could harm you, though I doupt it will, I will protect you Zhener..and your welcome" she said with a kind smile. Crouching down infront of him she gently moved closer so he could rest his body on her, "hold onto me with your beak, but please, not to hard" she said.

Zhener

"I vill be careful." he assured. In full health, he possessed enough strength to kill a lone wolf, although in his current state a rabbit could hop a foot from his razor-sharp beak without harm. With agonizing slowness, he pulled himself onto her back and did his best to hold onto her ruff with his beak while trying not to slice out much fur or touch the skin. He also had to be careful of his long, sharp talons. After letting his wounded wings trail over either side of Rain, his six-foot span balanced him well enough so he wouldn't fall off.

Rain

Once he was settled she started forward slowly so she wouldn't make him loose his balance. She headed for the woodland farm with him...
