Luna walked back to the canyon with Penguin close behind. Penguin eventually caught up with Luna. Luna rested in the shade of a tree while Penguin stared across the rocky canyon.

Luna entered a small burrow and, after a while, came out with two pups. The male was almost completely black and the female was almost completely white, like her mother.

Penguin approached Luna and the pups. He seemed happier than ever before.

"The male is Kuro and the female is Shiro." Said Luna, carefully watching her pups.

"We should find a safer place to raise them...away from Osprey." Penguin said, trying to think of a place that was safe. Living with other wolves these days may be dangerous for pups, and living with horses or deer just seemed weird. "I'll find us a pack. Stay here." He ran off in search of a home.

Penguin came running back to Luna. "I found a pack for us!" He exclaimed. "Follow me!" He walked slowly but quickly back to the Ochotona Mountains Territory.

Luna got up and looked at her mate happily. "Come along, pups" She said softly to Kuro and Shiro.

Kuro stumbled around. "I'm coming..." He replied, following Luna.

Shiro followed her brother clumsily. She was still just getting used to walking. "I'm going to get there first, Kuro." She said.

"Yeah right. I can walk better than you, Shiro." Kuro raced ahead as best he could.

"Well you--" Shiro was about to reply, but Luna stopped her. "No arguing, you two."

Osprey woke up at the sound of the playing pups. He watched for a while, but soon realized that the adults were Penguin and Luna. Penguin, with Luna, Osprey's mate! They had pups, too. "Penguin!" He howled angrily and chased them.

"Run!" Yelled Penguin. He picked Kuro up in his mouth and ran to the pack. "Grab Shiro!" He yelled to Luna.

Luna snatched up Shiro and followed Penguin.
