Temari,Anko,Kin,Hinita,TenTen,Gaara,Kankuro
Temari who was now 7 years of age grazed peacefully down along the right side of the canyon. Her ears were not still for one second. Her nares flaring and taking in the scents and sounds around her.She had come back into season but the only stallions here were anko's twins.
Anko one of the older mares was keeping watch. She was 8 years of age still young.Nares were flaring and ears constantly moving. At the slightest sound or movement she would focuse her attention on that spot.
She was alittle ways up the canyon yet not far from her herd. She was also 8 years of age but was two months older then anko. She snorted and drank some water from the stream
Hinita has just turned 3 years old and was still full of energy so the adults didn't pay attention to any of the four youngsters. She came galloping past kin tail up and ears forward. She let out a nicker as she ran.
Ten ten was not far behind racing toward her half sister. Her banner held high and her mane flowing in the breeze.
Gaara:One of the twin colts came galloping by.Even though they were like 5 months younger the mares he was the biggest of them all.He has taken charge of his family band pretty much.He soon slowed and reared on his hind legs and let out a scream of warning.
Kankuro was a show off instead of galloping he came prancing. His ears slightly back and his neck arched and he let out a nicker.
Vanim
'Vanima E Ta Er Lamman'
The yearling whickered, auds perked high like her stiff mane. Lanky little filly shook her neck and tail, whipping off the flies. Her long pillars charged through the rocky foundation, nares at work with her radars and scanners. Muscles rippled under the still-new ebony frame, drizzled with a white blanket. Her mark of an appaloosa showed, wind whipping the tiny framework of the yearling. Energy high, she nickered and slowed to a walk from her running trek through the Canyon's terrain. A snort escaped her maw as she began her descent down the side of the canyon. Suddenly she stopped, cocking her crania to one side. A small band of horses were here, all enjoying their time. She walked slower now, curious, cautious, as her chocolate optics lit up. As she drew closer, she walked slightly faster, auds perked at full forth.
Temari
Temari was the first to sense the others presence and her dial is lifted. She gazes toward the side of the canyon where she could make out somethin climbing down. Her auds were now focused on that spot. She pawed the ground.
Anko and Kin sensing temari mvoed to where she was standing and looked in her direction. They snorted.
Hinata and TenTen Snorted but continued playing.
Gaara seeing and smelling the yearling and being young himself moved off toward the filly. He let out a call if she came closer he would take her and she would be part of his band whether she or her herd liked it.
Kankuro watched his brother but stayed on the alert because there is no reason for a yearling filly to be out alone.
Vanim
Vanim looked over each horse, stopping suddenly when she locked eyes with each horse in turn, Tenten first, yjrn hinata, kankuro, Anko, Kin, Temari, and finally....Gaara. He gave off a statement that made her feel something was plotting in his mind. She could almos see wheels turning in his head. The delicate crown of the pure Appaloosa filly raised, auds threw back at first, then she took a step forth at his call, drawing back lightly. She approached some until she was about 10 yards away from the nearest horse, let alone the band, and leaned back lightly.
Gaara
Gaara was now moving at fast pace toward her his banner held high.As he came up the side he moved around her and now his head lowered he snaped at her shoulder to get her to move down.He began what people call "Snaking" A mare. This is what he was doing and was herding this loner towards his band.
All the others just watched but then went back to grazing and playing.Kankuro kept a look out.
Vanim
Vanim's optics widened lightly as the stallion charged at her. Soon as he began to approach, she attempted to will her pillars to move. But He was going uphill, like her. She was caught up to and snapped at. She took a few steps down and bolted, her long racer's legs churning and pumping their way through the grasses and flowers and rock. She realized he was trying to make her move down, towards the horses, the band. Immediately she swicthed course, running to the side and uphill, away from him. She was already starting to fear and dislike him, shaking her crown and speeding up, rising her half-racer bloodlines. Speed coursed through her mind, blood and will coursing through her body, wind whipping erh neck and chest. The air began to slow her down. THe Appy foal threw her head down, nearly knocking her offbalance. She kept her step and charged, resisting air and cutting like butter, racing as far away from the stallion as she could. Only once sdid she look back, not slowing.
Gaara
oh no she would not get away.As soon as she had bolted the opposite direction he charged right after her not slowing downbut speeding up jumping over obsticals. He nipped her hind end and moved to her side and then infront of her to make her either stop or turn. She was his whether she liked it or not.
Vanim
Vanim snorted, pinning her tiny auds back. Finally as the older stallion neared her and gave her the options, she planted her hooves into the ground and snorted. "What do ya want? She finally threw to him, Auds pinned back.
Gaara
"you belong to me filly wondering away from your own band was a mistake"He snorted and then snapped at her and began to push her towards his band.
Vanim
With a snort and a drooping f the foal's ears, she looked at the colt's eyes with her grey optics.
"I never had a band." With that she nearly lost footing and stumbled down lighlty before regaining her feet to let her fly. His shove had sent her down some. Knowing she wouldn't get away from this she made her way towards the horses. She stood away though, looking at them all but keeping distance. She didn't want to be attacked. SHe stood tense as she looked back up the cliffside towards Gaara. Defeated, the yearling shok her neck and watched the surroundings and horses of the new band she was forced into. A defeated sigh escaped her lips. 'Maybe it wont be too bad...' She thought to assure herself. She looked back up at the colt, apparently her new leader....
