Torture

I stare silently ahead of me, a darkness penetrating deep into my cold soul. The night was rather cold, the wind biting through my thick black pelt. Silver gaze shifted as I stared over the canyon. We had raped Aaka, but the father was to be unknown. It was either I, or my brother Torment. I didn’t mind, I already had a batch of pups with a silver hued wench named Vixen. She was so calm, so docile. Then Aaka. A demon in an angels body. Although scars littered her pretty little frame, I saw past them to the beauty that lie beneath it. My eyes narrow. I want her to be mine. Just the thought of her mate Legosa holding her love angers me. She shall belong to me. Soon... Soon I promise myself with a faint nod. My eyes continue to gaze out over the canyon, and I look to be as if in a trance but no. Perfectly content, yet alert. No one shall sneak up on me, no matter how hard they try. I had the best hearing out of our siblings. Traitor had the best eyes, the girl could see a mile away. Torment... Torment was the nose of the group. A light growl escaped my maw as I think about Traitor, breaking the still as a statue image. She had betrayed us, her own flesh and blood. She had helped Aaka, she had helped White Tip. She had helped the others instead of us. The bitch. A quiet growl rises from me once more. Then I’m silent and still as a statue as before. The moon is full tonight, maybe the were wolves are out. Our mother had told us of were creatures. Foxes, wolves, cats. All kinds of things. I raise my black dial and howl to the moon, joining with other creatures of the night. Will they hear me?

Adulthi

The big cat, with the build and fur of her snow leopard mother, was not at all put off by the growing chill in the air. With no snow on the ground yet, her pale-tan coat blended very well with the bleak, dormant world around her. At least on the wind-swept rocks of the canyon anway. Being a mixbreed had its advantages, but it also had its disadvantages. For one, it would come as a harsh blow to the feline that she was sterile. It was a common thing amongst cross-bred big cats, though her sister did not suffer from the same fate.

Blissfully unware of such things, mainly because she wasn't quite old enough, Adulthi satisifed her days by lounging around or hunting. As night spread its dark cape over the land, the feline was pursuaded out of a large crevis that she had slumbered in during the day. With rabbits on her hungry mind, she set out along a bluff a little ways south of the Canyon system.

It wasn't long before a nearby howl caught her attention. Pausing and flicking her short little ears to the call, Adulthi wavered on the thought of answering the lone wolf. But, the only 'loud' call she could make was a terrifying cat scream, which she doubted would sound too friendly. And so she resolved to locate this wolf, simply for the lack of anything better to do. She had all night to catch rabbits, besides.

Giant paws, lined with incredibly thick fur, carried the big cat almost soundlessly. To almost any other wolf, her approach would surely go undetected, but she did not know just how keen the ears of Torture were. As she drew near Adulthi took a moment to pause amongst a golden-leafed bush, who's foliage already littered the ground in preparation for winter. Slowly, Adulthi eased back onto her haunches as she prepared to observe the canine.

Torture

It wasn't only that I had heard her, I could feel her. I don't know where she is, but the prescence of another lingers and stiffens my spine, my entire body going on high alert. Softly I speak, "You can come out now. I don't bite. Often." I didn't know what she was, I just knew that something lurked in the shadows out of sight. That was fne. I continue to stare out over the Canyon wall, my silver eyes taking in the land.

Adulthi

Quiet surprise lit up her large eyes when he called her out. Her long tail lashed once against the ground in her dissapointment at not being sneaky enough. Well, at least now she had someone to talk too. "You're pretty intune with the land." Adulthi observed, padding out from cover as she came up along Torture's side. She was careful to keep a decent distant between herself and the wolf. "It's not often that my approach is noticed; at least not when I want to it to be noticed." The big cat added, her light eyes studying the brute.
