Spirit

A slender female walked slowly up the steep hills and sudden drop-offs. Her black tail swung back and forth lazily as she watched her paws to make sure that she wouldn't take a wrong step and fall to her death. She crouched low to the ground and narrowed her light blue eyes in consintration as the wind picked up for a moment and she braced herself. Her ears pinned back to her head as she waited for the wind to stop or at least let up a little.

When it did she got back to her black dipped paws and shook slightly. Spirit was manily a pale grey color except for the black markings that came apon her body in odd places. She looked around again before jumping from one large rock to another.

Quain

Although he stayed with his uncle Bagre most of the time, the young adult had taken some time on his own to explore around the Valley more. His rugged black coat was indentical to his uncles, as were his short, rounded ears. The differences were in his eyes, which were a stricking yellow, and his legs, which were long and lean like the rest of his small body.

Scaling the steep trail up the Canyon, Quain caught sight of movement amongst the jumble of rocks. Climbing quicker, he soon discovered just what he had spotted- another wolf. For a moment, Quain was silent, just observing the stranger. Then, once the wind had died down, he gave a short 'woof' to catch her attention.

Spirit

Spirit pirked to attention as she heard the short bark that called for her attention. Spirits ears perked twords the new wolf and her eyes scanned him over once. Looking for any tension or hostility in the others body language. Her tail hung limply in between her legs as she opened her mouth to speak.

"Hello" She called out in a soft voice as she made sure she had a good footing. "My name is Spirit, and yours?" She asked just trying to be polite. And for added politeness she bowed her head slightly to show that she ment no harm.

Quain

He mirrored her pose, showing as well that he meant no harm to her, and that his intentions were of good will. "Quain; it's nice to meet you, Spirit." He greeted, giving a slight wag to his tail to further show his friendliness. The black-phase wolf moved a few paces closer, glancing once to the cliff edge before looking to the she-wolf. "How long have you been here in the Valley?"

Ninetails

"Its nice to meet you too Quain" Spirit smiled slight as she watched him come closer. She watched his body posture and let her body relax slightly when she saw him give a slight wag of his tail. Her own came to life for a moment and let out a single wag before going falling again.

"Well about three days so far" She nodded slightly as she turned to look at the ground below her. Spirit hadn't noticed that she was so high up. "Have you been here long?" She asked as she cocked her head slightly, showing her curiosity.
