Nachi

It had been a while since she last nabbed a pup. Luckily for her, Ireshk had believed her about Annie's demise. No one except her own brother, Cavan, could have guessed what had really happened. That Nachi had simply killed the mother and stolen her pup. But now Ireshk was getting older, though not quite an adult. While she still planned to keep him around and feed his puppish side and fears, she needed some new blood. Some younger pups to feed her own demented desires.

Not quite sure where Ireshk had gone to, much less her brother, the wolfess embarked on a mission to find them. This led her to the highest ridge of the Canyon, where her voice would be heard by all, even if only on a faint degree to the southern most areas. Tilting her muzzle forward, Nachi howled loud and defiant, calling Cavan and Ireshk.

Ireshk

The growing adolescent had heard the wolfess and responded quickly, moving fast despite a nasty-looking injury to his neck. He did not have the skills to survive on his own, and depended on Nachi to support him.

Scampering up the slope, slipping now and then on loose scree, Ireshk made his way to Nachi. Instantly, his ears went back and his tail lowered, wagging in hopeful greeting as he minced towards his adoptive mother. "Mom, we got ambushed... I don't know where uncle Cavan went." Creeping up to her while staying as low as he could, the adolescent reached his muzzle up to nuzzle under her neck. He had learned to pay her much affection and respect.

Hidden Betrayal

"Nachi....I have a favor to ask of you." Her words were spoken softly as she trotted forth, ebony bodice nearly hidden on the dark ground. Her bright yellow eyes gave her away. She watched the other wolfess and layed the atom bomb. "Is has to do with pups." She watched for a reaction. She knew of an entire pack just filled with them. The wolfess would need to take a particular one however. Kalaber. The heir to the lands. And a few others of course. More collateral.

Nachi

Nachi took the affection from Ireshk, and was about to respond to him when Hidden Betrayal showed up. The wolf's tail flickered from side to side in a very un-wolvish fasion, and her ears planed out to the sides. For a brief moment, her fangs glistened in defiance to the other wolfess; Nachi was not a fan of other she-wolves. However, the scent of her brother drifted from this particular fae, and more importantly, her words struck a vien of deep interest in the unusual femme. Slowly, Nachi lifted her ears to an erect position, eyeing Betrayal uncertaintly, "Pups...? Do go on, my dear, tell me of this favor." A new light shown in her light eyes, half crazed, half desiring. Slowly, the uncertaintly melted away and Nachi was brimmed with eagerness.

Hidden Betrayal

Her smile was a quick flash as she came closer to the other female and whispered softly in her ear "There is a pack, just south of the Silver Glades that is absolutely filled with pups. We are trying to capture the alphas pups. Kalaber mainly and I figured I would come to you and ask for you expertise. And then you could hide out at the ruins with our pack and be with the pups. All of them. Cavan is there as well Nachi. But then....After we hit that pack we will strike another, and another. You will be of most help to us Nachi. And...You get to keep every pup." She was on her way to Crucifieds lands now but she did not mention that. Not yet.

Nachi

Her jaws parted just slightly, as if she were going to speak, but no words came out. Her expression was one of utter delight, like a kid in a candy store. "All of them? For me...?" Nachi whispered, her breath quickened with excitement. "And my brother will be there too?" The wolf lifted a paw and placed it on the ground again, anxiously thinking things over in her head. Again, she seemed at a loss for words, and for a moment, she didn't speak at all as she collected her thoughts. "Yes, yes that sounds perfect!" Nachi seemed to be speaking to herself now, before flashing her eyes to Hidden Betrayal, "I will take this Kalaber pup first, then get the others. What does he look like?" She wanted to go now, but she first needed to know which young ones to target.

Nachi

Nachi looked to Ireshk suddenly, her eyes showing great concern, "My little one, dearest Ireshk... I know you are confused. You don't understand what's going on here..." The wolfess began, trying to plant those thoughts in his head right away, "You remember Drakar? His mother got a hold of him; they killed him, Ireshk. I tried to to save him, like I saved you, but they tricked me." Nachi dipped her head down, squeezing her eyes shut as if the fact hurt her terribly, "I let him go back to his parents, and they murdered him." Slowly, she opened her eyes again and looked to Ireshk, "These pups we are talking about, they are in grave danger now. Drakar's parents are going to kill them as well, for they think the pups are weaklings and don't deserve to live. But, you and I, Ireshk, can save them!" Nachi's eyes at once switched form sullen to excited as her voice picked up, "We will save them all, we will. I need your help to do this though." As she had done with Phelan, Nachi talked fast and said a lot, so that Ireshk wouldn't have time to register everything; hopefully making him more willing to accept what she was saying rather than scramble to make sense of it all. "Follow me, and I will explain everything... but we must be quick! They are planning to kill the pups soon!" Nachi nudged the adolescent, then, after flashing Hidden Betrayal a quick look, she headed for the southern border of the Emerald Pines terra. The No Wolf Zone.

Ireshk

He wasn't sure what to make of all this talk, and the sound of snatching pups didn't seem like a good idea. Yet once again, he fell to his adoptive mother with utter and unwavering trust. Nodding his head now and then as she spoke, although the words did indeed fly past him faster than he could keep up with, Ireshk easily fell for the plan. Really, he didn't have a choice. Who could he turn to if he ever figured out the true side of Nachi? No one; no one that he knew anyway. He didn't know of all the relatives he had in the Valley, and assumed he was the only one left of his lineage. Without question, Ireshk followed the only soul he truely knew.
