Shiris

As I stepped onto the hard, rocky surface of pure rock I gazed around. The canyon was quite the place to be. Warm, breezy, open, and just so, free. I felt as though I could just leap from the ledge and take flight, into my own little world, where there was no hassle. Yes, no hassle. Isn't it hard to believe there's a world where you can do as you please, but everyone's nice to each other while doing it? Hint hint, nothing bad happens, just incase you were wondering. So, now my travels take me here, to this very fulfilling valley. Or so far, at least. I had heard some loud barking on my way, and from the looks of it, the valley wasn't at peace.

I sighed as I found a nice little spot upon my cliff, high up, overlooking the valley. I loved it here. So free. I loved that feeling. A deep breath slipped inward through my maw and then into my lungs. Pure air. Or so I thought, but something was on my side, at least. It sure smelled pure. But who knows? The humans could be polluting the place, or doing whatever. Now that's a topic. Humans. I don't get involved with them. Never did. But I have some suspections, and accusations of them. I hear from others, usually. I never wish to witness any of it for myself. But whatever. I preferred to do things my own way sometimes.

I soon was on my belly, forepaws hanging over the edge. I was still taken aback by the beautiful scenery, so wonderous and mighty. The sun overhead shined off my crystal white pelt, and my unique silver-tinted steel blue eyes finally took everything in. This canyon could really match wits. I mean, it was as beautiful as I was. Wow. But I should compare myself with land, but, let's just say I enjoy it and leave it at that. Uh, it's a personal thing I do...

I lay back, now on my side, and stared up at the bright sky. I ignored the brightness of the sun the best I could, while also trying to avoid where the sun was at, directly. I sighed in a content way. I was clearly content. I soon dozed off; not in a sleeping way, but in a thinking way. Day dreaming. Always a fave of mine. I was soon thinking back to where I originally came from, with the birds chirping, the wind blowing through my fur, the sun shining, the cool stream filling it's banks, and just the heavenly place I had called home...

Blazed

A lone ebony brute sat perched on a jagged outcropping of boulders, not to far from the porcelain fae. Her soft footfalls caught his attention and the soft breeze that ruffled his midnight coat brought him a whole library of smells that told him all he really wanted to know. The caliph's twin peaks rotated atop his scarred brainpan, drinking in the sounds. The wind, with it being rather persnickety today, would not have warned the female of his presence, but as Blazed turned his head to look in her direction, the zephyr shifted so he was no longer down wind.

The authoritarian of brute observed the relaxed and aloof position of the fae. Obviously she was not worried about much. How nice that would be, to be able to fully relax. His life was so unforgiving, and yet he couldn't imagine a quiet existence for the life of him.

Fire your guns

It's time to roll

Blow me away

(I will stay, unless I may)

After the fall

We'll shake it off

Show me the way

Shiris

I was completely in my own little world, still thinking. It was quite obvious, with how my eyes were looking upward at the sky, in such a lost way. I was oblivious to everything around me, as long as my senses didn't catch them first.

Suddenly my nares flared, and my body went wild with new motion. Auds swiveling rapidly, I strained to catch the new scent of brute. I was usually a laid-back creature, but with so many new faces and places, you could only expect me to be so "alert", to put it mildly. But then wasn't everyone like this?

I finally discovered the direction of the scent and looked, auds pricked. I was still lying partly on my side, breathing lightly and slowly to hear sounds more easily. I observed him with a wary glance, but who was I to judge firstpaw?
"Hello?" I called out, slowly lifting to my paws and sitting on my sleek haunches. I would have to see if he was friendly enough to approach or if I should be wary if he came near. I listened for any reply, whether it be nice or not, I couldn't be sure until I heard his voice.

I stared at the brute, beginning to feel a bit depressed. He seemed to not be paying much attention. I pointed my maw to the sky and sniffed, catching the moisture on the air. My eyes observed the darkish clouds overhead, and my auds suddenly planed out to the sides. Night was going to come on soon. The time I greatly disliked. I wouldn't let it stand in my way this time, though. Not in a my new life.

After a few short moments, I took one last look at the other wolf before turning and trotting off in the opposite direction; not higher into the canyon, but lower. I was a bit uncomfortable for some odd reason. Dark weather always made me wary. It often had a strange effect on my emotions and actions.

I shut my eyes as I hopped down the last ledge, onto secure ground. I glanced around then, wondering if anyway was watching. The last thing I wanted was some stranger following me in the darkness. Not that I was scared or anything, but I was taught to be alert when the moon came out.
With a lowered head and tail, I started off toward the ruins, surprisingly unknowing of where I was going. I just knew I had to find cover.

Female
I am a very vividly colored wolf. My pelt is pure crystal white and often shines like a diamond in the brightness of the sun. I am hueless without a flaw. I have a slender build, not at all bulky, but how a fae should be. My eyes are unique; they are steel blue with a noticable tint of silver.
