Enola

Enola moved silently her thin frame moving quickly up the canyon hill side. She leaped hard and stood atop the great canyon her mind wandering leaving her body where it stood as she traveled far back in time. She was a pup again young and rebellious against her parents and their wishes. Then she was in a different pack trying to make them all love her. She had heard her fathers pleas and turned deaf ears to them. She had heard her sisters cry for help in the night and turned away from it. She heard the howl of a mourning father and looked away trying to find peace within herself. Ageni had said she cared but did her sister really still love her? Ageni was young and so easily heart broken. Enola was herself heart broken but not from the same thing. She had thought that she'd found a mate but instead all she had found was an angry soul that had been stolen away from her. He was a liar and a cheat. He had run away with Hidden Betrayal and now he was dead thanks to that ungrateful hating bitch. Anger welled up in Enola but she didnt feel it. She was still in a distant part of herself far away from the real thing. She felt degraded, unloved. She had sold her heart to him and he had said that he cared, that he loved her to. But instead he had run off with that ungrateful black whench who had turned and killed him. Guess her name fit her. Hidden Betrayal. So fitting, so true.

I only Wanted Happiness in my Poisonus Solitude

She then shifted her thoughts and began to remember a time where she had been hating and cold and bitter. Aaka. The wolfess had promised her so much but now look at her. Enola was a nobody. When she was a young pup Enola had said that she would make a name for herself so that everyone knew her and would cower whenever her name was mentioned. But now....Now she began to think of how pathtic she had been. Why would someone cower before a small steel grey wolfess who had nothing to gain and nothing left to lose? Why would they cower before a wolf that was nothing more then a bag of bones with hollow amber eyes that seemed as lifeless as a body six feet under ground? She was nearly devoid of life and yet she was still living and thriving off of pain and anger. No. She wasnt thriving off of anything. She was dead inside and had learned to shut off all of her emotions. That way she couldnt be let down again. Nita had just told her and Ageni that their brother was alive. Ageni had taken that hard and harder still when she had heard that Storm Warning was still alive. Their father. Their coward of a father. Storm Warning was a poor father and a pathetic excuse for life. He didnt deserve to live. Enola had heard some of Storm's past and she thought to herself silently that Aaka should have finished him off with the others even if it meant that she wouldnt be alive. If Storm was dead it would be one less weak being in the world. That was something that everyone needed. Only the strong deserved to live.

so then maybe I should Die to.

Her form moved silently and lay down amber colored orbs staring into the distance a young wolfess heart broken by the worlds cruel ways and lifes constant painful reminders. Her mortality was being thrown in her face day after day and she was tiring of it quickly. Maybe she should end it here, now. The sky was a dark blue, the first hint of night as the moon stood out defiantly stars lightly beginning to sprinkle across the sky. Spring hung in the air and rain clouds were beginning to form above coming in from the West. Enola loved the rain. It washed away all the pain that she felt daily and made her clean again from lifes miseries. Maybe this time it would wash away all traces off herself.

Crucified >[? The night was young and the stars began to glitter and sing with the night. Crickets chirped, owls hooed, the wind rattled the tree's gently. However he saw the storm as well. Sighing he continued on his way.

A familiar scent flooded his nose and he abruptly looked around. There on side of a canyon a young fea lay. He remembered her as a pup. The one he played with at the den. Where Risen had made her first rival, Hidden Betrayal. But why was she out here, why was she alone? The last time he saw, Hidden Betrayal and Enola were together.

Quietly he collected himself and walked up to her. Gaze being held to the center of her head. His white form haulted a few feet away and he sat. The wind blowing hiw white hairs everywhere. " What's Wrong?" He questioned. Wondering if she remembered him. It had been so long ago that he had saw her. He didn't even remember her name. Still he sat and waited, hoping for an answer.

Enola

She turned and stared at the massive male for a moment then turned away back to the canyon below. "I gave my heart away and then he walked all over it and me." She remembered Crucified. He had been her friend, he hadnt left her. More or less he had grown up and gone away like most do. "She stole him from me and then she killed him. What kind of a friend does that?" She questioned softly. She looked to him wondering in her eyes at what he would say. Would he tell her that she was pathetic like she thought she was? Would he tell her to grow up? She didnt know what he was like anymore only that he had once been a friend.

Crucified

He gave a soft whine of confusion and pitty. " Who?" He questioned, wanting to know both the male and female that she spoke of. His head lowered as well as his tail in respect for her pain. " Why?" Was his next simple question, inching up to her to where he was closer, but not too close. The thought of her being pathetic never even crossed his mind. He felt sorry for her, " How can I help?" He whimpered a bit, trying to comfort her.

Enola

She turned to him her heart in her eyes and it was breaking before him. "Her name is Hidden Betrayal. She was at Ghosts pack with us remember?" She spoke of the small black demoness that must have a death wish or something. She certainly wasnt normal in the head. She had issues. "His name was Sorrow. He was mine and she took him from me." Her eyes filled with tears and she whimpered slightly. "I just wanted to be her friend and I wanted love. He said he loved me but then he saw her and he forgot all about me. He said that her mystery intrigued him. It was his curiosity that got him killed and taken away from me. I could have convinced him to stay with me. I know I could have. But she took him before I had the chance." When Crucified asked why she smiled through her tears "Because life sucks and when you think you've come out on top it goes and gives you a swift kick in the ass." She turned back towards the valley and watched it through her pain and wondered silently what suicide was. Aaka had spoken of it at one point. She had said in that soft tone of hers that she was a suicidal freak, that no one would love her for it. But now Aaka had a mate so that must mean she wasnt suicidal anymore. "Crucified what is suicide?" Her question seemed truly innocent as she asked it and she looked to him with soft amber eyes that seemed to hold her soul inside them.

Crucified

He felt really sorry for her. The word 'suicide' made him think, he had heard it once... " Suicide.... I think... Self killing.... Yeah, that's it, Risen told me once before what it ment. Why do you ask?" He whimpered, hoping she wasn't going to kill herself. Though his ears pinned back to the name of Betrayal echoeing through his head. " I never trusted Hidden.. You shouldn't beat yourself up for the friendship, and Sorrow easily forgot about you, then he wasn't good enough for you." He tried to lift her spirit, if it worked or not, he didn't know. he didn't let the little fear of hurting her stop him. His goal was to make her feel better, And if nothing was said. It was worse than trying. " Love was not in his mind, what was? I'm not sure. Fate was not ment for you two to be together, he may have ended up hurting you worse in the end.." He gave a soft gulp, becoming confused in his own words. " Uh... What i'm trying to say is.. um... Try to forget about him, he's in the past. He wasn't worth wasting of your time. It's better to look ahead while you travel, and not behind." He sighed and hoped it did something, " And if it's a friend you're looking for, you have one." He smiled, hopefully with some encouragement.

Enola

"I only ask because Aaka spoke of it once. She said it was a way out." She smiled faintly at her friend and said softly "Betrayal was a good friend for a time. She never trusted anyone and sooner or later that will be her down fall. Thanks Crucified. I heard you got yourselves a pack lands now. How is that coming along?" Although sadness still lurked in her eyes she tried to disguise it with a soft smile. Her steel grey form that she had inheirited from her father was thin but power still showed. She moved with grace and agility her body always well in tune with her mind. She had learned long ago how to control everything, her emotions, her body, her life. But then everything had just seemed to fall apart and she hadnt been able to think anymore. Everything had disappeared. But now with a friend, she may be able to over come all of her problems and make everything go away. Maybe even she could join Crucifieds pack. That way they both won. Crucified had a member and she had a home.

Faith,
is not something that I grasp
it's something that I fake,
as I'm slipping, as I'm falling through the cracks,
Faith
without actions is a mask,
for making the same mistakes
as I'm slipping as I'm falling through the cracks.

Crucified

He watched her as she spoke of Aaka. Sighing in slight relief as she steered away from the suicide subject. Betrayal seemed to be somewhat nice to Enola when they were little, but still picked on her quite a bit. His only responce to what was said about Betrayal not trusting anyone was about his sister. " Risen is somewhat like that... although it's not really that she doesn't trust anyone, she's power hungry. er, a power-hunger-evil-egotistical-munipulative maniac..." He nodded at the title for Risen. " It's not that she doesn't trust others, she just doesn't care... She could be quiet one minute and killing the next. She'd kill a friend, just like Betrayal. I don't trust either of them." He growled slightly hatefully as she told him, her own brother, that he was her enemy.

Another subject, the pack lands. Only discomfort showed. " Heh, I don't really have any members..." His stare was blank and kind of toward the ground. " I have a decent amount of ally's and had a few members, but they all seemed to leave or something. Not even a goodbye." His head hung low, knowing that either he would be the loner or the lead, he would not follow anyone. He loved other wolves to be in company with him, he just didn't like taking orders. " And what about you? where do you live now?" He knew it prolly was sore, but he could invite her to stay it his land if she had not home, even if she didn't want to be a packmember. It could just be a safe place to reside for a while, until one is strong enough to move one again.

Enola

She smiled warmly at him "If only Risen and Betrayal could become friends. Then they would be perfect for each other instead of trying to rip each others throat out." When he asked her of her home she paused for a moment. Was the Ochtoana mountains her home? She pondered this for a moment then said "I have no home. I found my sister at one of the other territorys but i dont want to live with her. I know shes my sister but dealing with Ageni and her mood swings like that daily would wear me out" Her smile was thin as she said this. Ageni was a bit headstrong and Enola was to tired to fully argue with her these days. She didnt ask him if she could stay at his packlands. He would ask her. If he wanted her that is.

Crucified

He snickered at the thought of the two rivals being together. If Risen was looking for a friend, she would have paired up with Betrayal. " Risen isn't one to be friends with. She is the use and abuse kind of creature. Even if she made a friend, she would use them until they were worth nothing to her, then throw them away." He gave a sharp disapointed look at that thought. " I will never be like that. That's a horid thing to do." He listned to her talk about her no-home. How sad, one shouldn't live alone if they didn't want to. " You are welcome to live on my land if you would like. Would you like to be a packmember? I'm sorry that there isn't many to communicate with yet. I'm still trying" His chest came out slightly like a valiant warrior.... sorta... Lowering his head he waited for her answer. Wondering if she would accept the invitation.
