Esprit
The young fae climbed up the steep cliffs of the canyon, her breathing rough and sharp. She hadn't seen her mother, father, or sister in the longest time, and had only seen her brother a couple times. Since they were pups. As she was making her way over one quick drop off a hind paw slipped from one of the suppotive rocks, almost sending her down. Possibly to her death. She shivered at the thought once she made it up finally, licking her forelegs daintily. She had reached all the far she could go and dragged herself toward the edge of the high cliff. Then, using all the voice she could muster in her tired-out state, pointed her maw to the sky and released a long, loud howl. It called for her brother, and ended with a light riding and then lowering noise from her vocals. Sighing, she sat on her haunches and waited, hoping her call from high up would reach his auds.
Bagre
Bagre had just had some fun with Cavan, although a pack member of the scarface had stepped in before Bagre could finish the brute off. Oh well, he'd live another day to be tormented. As the large wolf made his way north along the Croal Mountains, he began to head straight for the Canyon, where his sister's howl could be heard.
Bagre began to run now, his heavy paws propelling his massive frame up the steep inclines that led to Esprit. By the time the brother reached the top, his tongue was lolling from his mouth and he was quite winded. "Hey, Sis!" He barked in greeting, padding over to her and sitting down. A bit of blood marked his side, but it was no more serious than a scratch. "I ran into that old scarface, back on the Mountains."
Esprit
Esprit was looking out over the Valley, with her dial held high, feeling the cold winds. It was colder here, since she was so high up. Her auds pricked as she heard her brother's greeting behind her. SHe turned her head and smiled. "Hey, bro!" she barked, wagging her banner to and fro. She suddenly remembered the old scarface that had stolen their sister, Eventine. "That's too bad. Maybe the next time we both see him we can finish him off... For good." she stated, grinning evilly. She turned to look out over the canyon and beyond, taking it all in.
Bagre
He sat down next to his sister, "Ah, definitely. And his sister as well." Bagre pointed out, while gazing at the Valley below. "We ought to visit Eventine sometime. I'm curious to see our nephews and nieces." The wolf stated next, for he didn't know how many Eventine had. "I'd like to see mom and dad too." He was just throwing all this out casually, wanting to hear his sister's feeling on it all.
Esprit
Epsirt nodded, listening intently to his wise words. She sighed, thinking about their parents, and sister. It had been quite a while. "Indeed. I am quite excited. It's been long, too long... I'm curious. It's overwhelming." she stated, tilting her dial as she looked up to the sky, a little joyous grin on her maw. Her mind flashed with images of their family, long lost, and seeming to be split up. Though Esprit knew that wasn't so, it still felt all the same.
Bagre
He stood suddenly, swaying his tail encouragingly in the crisp air. "Shall we head out now? We can stop by Eventine's place, or try to finish off that old scarface if you'd like." Bagre laughed, feeling his spirits rise a bit.
