Shandi

An Amazon Parrot was perched on a small delecate brance. She reached her beak down to clean her green feathers. She looked up at the sky. Her feet move toward the trunk of the tree. She drooped her head and began to doze silently.

*Humans*

After catching the little owl, the humans were on the lookout for more birds. When they spotted the parot, all of them were quite surprised, for she didn't belong here. Assuming she was an escapee from a pet store, or some person, they slowly advanced on her. "Hello there, little birdie." One woman said, holding her hand up in a manner that the parot could land on if she wanted. "Here birdie, birdie." They didn't know for sure if she was a pet or not, but they were going to try this method first.

Shandi

Shandi was brought to Sparkling Creek in a strange way. She had perched on a boat that was importing wild animals to Firestone Zoo. She knew she couldn't fly back, so she held tight until Shandi got to Sparkling Creek Valley. Shandi was still sleeping, but opened an eyelid and chriped loudly, and closed her eyes once again. Shandi had inhaled some of the sleeping gas on the boat she had been on. She was very drowsy and could be caught easily.

*Humans*

A second human pointed up at Shandi, "Look, I don't see a band. I doubt she's owned." The others nodded in agreement, although they were puzzled out how she got here. Realizing that she wasn't going to come to them, they knew they'd have to go to her. A net was brought out and fitted into a long pole. They reached it up, and like they had done with the owl, tried to swoop it quickly over her...

Shandi

Startled, the amazon tried to fly away, but was caught by the net. She tore at it and tried to break free, but her struggles were useless. She was caught.

*Humans*

The brought the net down and quickly took hold of her. Like with Ayla, a band was put on her leg. 1516green. Then they brought her into their vehicle and drove to the Zoo.
