Huyen, Hark, Furlock, Idyn

Four stags traveled together, moving alertly and with a purposeful look. They were in search of the three predators that had helped Nhosh; help was needed again. The deer in the lead had fur as black as night, even though he was a whitetailed deer. He was melanistic, like his little friend Guadalupe.

The next stag was an Axis deer, baring the striking white spots along his back and a distinguished brown dorsal stripe. He was the largest axis stag in Nhosh's herd, but he still had to learn a lot after spending most of his life on a deer farm.

Idyn came next, just a yearling axis with no antlers at all. He was taken along in order to learn about being a scout stag.

Furlock, a normal-hued whitetail deer, pulled up the rear of the group. His antlers weren't quite as big as Huyen's, for he wasn't as old as the experienced buck. And like Hark, he had come from the deer farm and had to adjust to a wild life.

As the group traveled on, the scented the wind and kept a sharp eye out for the felines and wolf.

Taijya

Taijya, wolf of rubicon. Her name was known to strike fear in the heart of humans, and awe or even envy in the hearts of wolves. There were always exceptions, however she didn't care. The raven beauty was more focused on the increasing scent of deer. Sure she had seen and smelt them before, but she not caught their scent more often, and ow she was just down right curious. It had actually been a long time since she had been on a real hunt. A hunt that ment hunting wild animals that couldn'ty get you bountys. So even if she was hungry, these animals would not need to worry. But of course they wouldn't know that. Slyly she limbs brought her to a trot, following the scent until finally she came inot the view of the animals. She did not speach, her harks were pushed forward, and her nares twitched with a slight instrest.

Huyen, Hark, Idyn

Furlock had departed from the group a while back, much to Huyen's disapproval. So now the two stags were left searching for help with a fawn tottling along after them. Huyen was first hear Taijya approach. With a sharp bark, he wheeled around and tossed his head. Hark mirrored the other's actions, and Idyn did his best to look brave and strong.

Huyen then lowered his head, staring at the wolf with a mixture of fear and anger. "It's not one we're looking for..." he whispered to Hark, who shrugged in response, "Wouldn't help to ask it, at least."

Huyen nodded faintly to his friend's reply before speaking out to Taijya. "You'll have no luck hunting us today, unless you wish to meet your death at the end of our tines." The stag threatened first, wanting to sound the least bit appetising as possible, ",b>But if you enjoy the blood of humans, perhaps we can help you..." He waited to see what she would say to this, for he knew that many wolves in this area relished killing humans.

Taijya

Duchess stood, not even flinching at the threats for they wer eonly that. Actions had yet to be used to back them up, so she stood as calm and un threateing as before. But the question came a match to the fireworks in her eyes, and at this her plume swayed slowly, quite a good task for prey to do.

"Ahh so you know my weakness. Speak of these humans, for my fangs glad;y chose their blood over yours."

Huyen, Hark, Idyn

Huyen gave a mental sigh, glad that Taijya accepted the offering. "It is a dangerous task; that's why we are seeking the aid of our enemies." He went on, the animosity towards her kind showing clear in his voice. However, the anger in his voice lit strongly around the humans in his next speech, "There are at least ten humans and a dozen hunting dogs. Each human bares a weapon, and four are riding on horses. They are at the Oak Prairie..." The stag trailed off, thinking that a predator probably wouldn't know the names of a deer's terra, but maybe she knew the landmarks, "It is the land with old oaks, and the deep lake. To the southeast."

Taijya

Her dial lifted a bit higher, nares twitching as her dial swivled about. It stopped once she had pinpointed about where the territory lay. Only then did her gaze return to the animals.

"Humans pose no threat to me. or it is I who pose threat to them.

This time her dial turned slightly different, revealing a scar healing beneath a shorter patch of fur. It would never be perfect flesh again, but her fur did well to hide the close to death expirience.

Without another word the dove troted away, gaining speed with every step she took. A hunting we shall go...
