Dreamcatcher

Mare galloped int' the canyon. Dust flew behind the vixen as she sped along, her strong but slender pistons carried her easily, barely touching the ground. She started to slow down as she approached the cliff face. She lept to the first point of her climb and continued to progress slowly up the cliff. 'pon reaching a ledge she stopped to take a break. She turned to face the cliff again and began her ascent to the peak. On arrival she dipped her tiara and her craters inhaled and exhaled slowly and deeply. She tossed her tail, it blew gently in the wind that was picking up. The cold air hit her hot frame making her shiver before feeling a cool sensation ripple down her spine. She lifted her boa and shook it, making her tassles fly wildly in the ever increasing wind. The sweat beads rolled off her hide before silently disintergrating. Her radars were a'flick for any noise and her caring optics watched for any movement.

Wildmoor

Having left a seemingly vacant horse terra, after failing to bring a mare back with him, the stallion headed for more open lands in hopes of better luck. He hadn't really claimed any terra yet, but his sights were fixed on the Shadow Hedge area that carried no new scent of any equines. A perfect place to establish a new herd.

The American Saddlebred headed along the eastern ridge of the Canyon, trotting along with his head aloft and his tail whipping about as sharp winds roared up from within the Canyon, or came jetting over the drop. As he traveled on, his chestnut pelt shimmering in the sun's rays, Wildmoor spotted the mare. He paused a moment before tossing his head a bit up and giving a loud, quick neigh to catch her attention. His twin peaks were directioned towards Dreamcatcher and his orbs studied her for a reaction.

*Food*

The sweet scent of carrots drifted lightly through the air. A large patch of wild carrots had been growing along the side of a loose-rock slope. A recent rain and a tree fall triggered a small rockslide, which had uprooted most of the carroy patch. The vegetables, with their juices orange roots, lay scattered about over the ground. Being wild, they were thin and scrawny, but there were hundereds of them! They were just a few dozen yards down a wide trail from where the two horses were.

Dreamcatcher

Fae's craters were filled with two unfamiliar smells. One of another equine and the other of food. She looked round to see a stallion standing not so far away. Animation began as the huntress moved toward him. She spoke sweetly.

Greetings, i be Dreamcatcher. What be your dubbance?

She smiled at him, her optics, kind, caring and tranquil, looked into his.

I have seen some carrots just over there. There are loads but they are quite thin. Would you like to come with me and eat them?

Wildmoor

Encouraged by her polite greetance, Wildmoor moved in closer, "Very nice to meet you Dreamcatcher. My calling is Wildmoor." The stallion dipped his head in a kindly gesture before testing the wind of its scents. Offering an appriciative smile, he nodded to the mare, "I'd love too. What luck!" He began to trot towards the area of disturbed earth and nosed about at the scattered vegetables. "What luck!" Wildmoor exclaimed again in a murmur. Rarely did he get to eat such a treat. Picking up one of the scrawny roots, the stallion began to munch happily on it. As he did so, he nudged a particularly large one to the side for Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher

She smiled as she followed Wildmoor towards the carrots. She nickered to him softly, like a thank you, when he pushed a larger carrot in her direction. Orbs watched him before she tucked in to the carrots aswell. Food, she was so hungry she would eat anything. She was happy too, for she wasn't alone anymore, She had found a friend, or prehaps, maybe more...

Wildmoor

He nickered happily and ventured to swish his tail at Dreamcatcher's side, as a friendly gesture. After munching down on a few more of the tasty roots, the stallion lifted his head and looked to Dreamcatcher, finding it a good of time than any to ask her the question on his mind, "Have you a home yet?"

Dreamcatcher

No. I have not had much luck...

She looked hurt and sad but then smiled and whinnied.

Until i met you of course!

She bent her boa, finishing some of the roots off. She saw him coming over to her, and felt his tail brush her hide. She went all tingly but tried to ignore her racing heart. She waited and listened for his reply still munching on the orange roots infront of her.

Wildmoor

He was delighted to hear she was in no heard, though he noticed the pain and sorrow she carried and he adopted a more sympathetic look. Perking up again, he smiled, "I would be honored if you would join me. I know of a wonderful place not too far from here, that has a waterfall in it. One of the largest ones in the Valley, too." The stallion offered, hoping she might be interested in such things.

Dreamcatcher

Of course i wold join you...M'lord

She walked over to him and nudged him with her muzzle. She smiled at him. he whinnied softly before picking up and orange root and taking it to Wildmoor. Her occuli looked into his, kind and gentle they were. She felt her heart melt and her bodice tingle but she tried to hide these emotions. She flicked her tail, swishing away the flies from her hide.

Wildmoor

He took the carrot and nuzzled the side of her neck. Wildmoor began to feel his own emotions going out strongly for this mare now, and his eyes looked warmly into hers. "Would you like to go see it now?" As he spoke, he couldn't help but think of a future now.

Dreamcatcher

She smiled and nuzzled him back. Optics sparkled in the suns rays as she opened her maw to release some sweet lyrics.

Sure, if i can go with you...

She swished her tail and gently nickered in an affectionate way. She smiled again as she turned.

Lead the way...

Wildmoor

"I wouldn't go without you." He replied with a smile and turned his head towards the direction of the terra which would be his. Tossing his head a bit in anticipation, Wildmoor headed off at an easy gallop, enjoying the breeze in his face and the new company he had found.

Dreamcatcher

She smiled and followed Wildmoor. Tossing her boa she headed in the direction of the terra.
