Tersek & Others

Three days had come and gone, giving the Shadow Haunters plenty of time to mull over and come to terms with the big merger at hand. Tersek was feeling optimistic by the final day, and let loose a low howl through the sparsely wooded terra to call on the pack to assemble.

A softer but just as powerful howl met his when Blackmist answered her grandfather. The black and dark gray fae soon joined the grizzled elder in a large clearing, and sat beside him with anticipation for the upcoming journey.

Duality was on the scene next, taking a seat beside her niece and father. Dally, too, had joined the gathering, perching on a branch a few yards from the growing collection of canines.

Eventually, Cloudbreaker answered the rally as well. The zorse cantered through the forest towards the clearing, dappled light playing against the bold stripes along her legs and sides until she broke fully into the sunlight where Tersek and his kin had gathered.

Senka

She was nervous about the merger, even though she and Terserk would take the ultimate command Velvet could still turn on them. But hopefully Tyrant was correct. She stretched as she got up and moved to the clearing.

Aizen moved to join his father and others. his three legs showing no strain.

Darkia was much much healthier now, she still needed more wait put on her but over all she was healthier.

Menace was already seated.

Tersek & Others

Tersek's attention fell on Senka, and he moved to her side as she joined the gathering, after giving Aizen a brief nuzzle. "Morale seems to be good. You ready for this?" Optimism aside, the elder wolf did recognize that Velvet had betrayed them in the past, and that she was known for her sly mind. He would be keeping a close eye on the lioness, and any who seemed to be particularly close to her.

Cloudbreaker plodded towards Darkia, nickering quietly to her friend. "So, what do you think about the move?" The zorse's voice was low and quiet, to avoid the detection of their leaders. "It'll be nice going back home, but.. to be honest, I'm going to miss this place. I like the openness of it, and the lack of big rocks and stones to stumble over."

Senka

Senka was nervous but it would be nice to be back hom.Im as ready as ill ever beShe said calmly.

Darkia looked to cloud.Ill miss this place but it will be safer in a large packShe said. She was still jumpy and nervous about humans.

Aizen nuzzled his father back. He wasn't too fond of going back there. He had three legs and he was pretty sure Velvet views were still thinking animals like him were probably weak because of their disability.

Tersek & Others

Tersek exhaled quietly, steeling his nerves and taking just a brief moment to look over their collected family. "After we get there and get settled in, I think it would be a good bonding opportunity to send groups out to look for our missing members, if any of them are still alive. Cavan and the rest." He honestly didn't think that old wolf was still kicking, but surely at least a few others were still out there.

Listening to Darkia, Cloudbreaker had to agree. Besides, she could understand that the mare was still struggling with the fear of humans, "A larger pack, and a more secure home. Two-leggers never go to the Ruins." It was a trade-off that she was okay with, especially if it made her friend happier. While she waited for their leaders to announce the departure, she set into grooming Darkia, removing a few pesky ticks and bits of debris from her coat.

Duality stood by her half-brother, excitement growing in the pit of her stomach. She didn't immediately catch any sign of hesitation or anxiety from Aizen, but she'd defend him to her last breath if anyone, Velvet included, tried to harm him. As it was, the hybrid waited with baited breath until her father spoke up again.

"Dally, fly ahead and make sure the coast is clear, and that they know we're on the way." Cold yellow eyes, showing a vibrant spark that defied his age and waning strengths, turned up to Senka, "Do you want to lead the way?"

Senka

Senka nodded and then watched the others. She nodded.Let us head thereShe said sending out a roar to menac and Radar and the others as she leaped off the small boulder she had been sitting on. She still had a slight limp in her back leg but did her best to mask it as she moved.

Darkia groomed her back till Senka began moving.

Aizen stayed next to his half sister moving as if he had four legs. Given his front one leg was slightly centered to compensate for the other.

Menace and Radar followed.

Tersek & Others

A few leaves floated down from above, shook loose from where Dally had taken off from his perch amongst the branches. He knew where the Ruins were by heart, and would make sure the route there was safe and secure for the Haunter's arrival. And that there were no ambushes along the way, in case Velvet wished to finish what she had started several years ago.

Tersek fell in line beside the big cat, traveling on the same side she was limping, as a sort of protective measure in case they were attacked at some point during the journey. He paused once to look over his shoulder, first to check on his son and daughter, and then to see that the rest of the Haunters were lined up. With everyone in tow, the old brute carried on, leaving the Sonnet Forest behind.
