Star was looking for a home. One for her and Grenda that is. Grenda was the oldest at five years, but Star was only a year older. They had once belonged to the same pride, but they left that pride due to way too many lioness. Let's just say Star didn't like to be crowded. So she and her only friend, Grenda had set off to find another pride to join.

That was what had led them here, to this place. They stopped at the border before sniffing for details. A lion, newly claimed home. So new, that their were no other lioness around that they could detect. Star, smirking, let out a roar calling to the lead. Than while they waited, for who know how long, they laid down on the ground. They began to groom each other to pass the time by while holding a conversation in hushed tones.

"Do you think the male is strong?" Grenda.

"How am I suppose to know?" Star.

As his thoughts had trailed off and was deeply entranced by them. All of a sudden the mountian lion had caught a scent. It was definately not a male.... Females.... in my territory.

he had not seen a female for a long time, but at these times no one was to be trusted but who knows maybe he can get more creatures to join to someday form a legion of his own. As he rose from underneath the tree that had casted shade upon him, he rushed to meet the intruders. As he was rushing, a creature could make out the the muscles in his strong legs at work. Two figures began to appear, indeed they were females. They looked too relaxed but not for long. As he approached them, he noticed that they were not too young and not too old. As He observed them more and more he decided not to look so intimidating anymore since they didn't pose a threat to him. He quickly became a bit relaxed, and strange but quick sense of relief overcame him, he was no longer alone.

Well my dears, why so quiet? My name is Fury, and this is my home. And who might you ladies be?"

Star smelled the approach of the male. She and Grenda rolled over, submitting to the leader. As he questioned them, they rolled back over sensing that all was good. Grenda spoke first in a soothing tone. She was also careful to note the muscles of the feline, and I must say she was pleased. No doubt she still wanted to join.

"Greetings Fury. I am Grenda, this is my friend Star." Her voice was spoke around a greeting purr.

"We wish to join your...pride." Star finished careful on the way she said pride. So far it was just the male in the terra, but soon he would have more additions. Than after that he wouldn't have to wait long for children and other members. Fury would soon have his legion.
