Ayla
The badly-wounded Noric mix limped into the lands, her head and ears drooped down in reflection of how she felt. Bloody marks from canine and feline weapons marked her hide and dozens of places. Two attacks in just one day, what luck she had!
After leaving the Eskers, Ayla made her way painfully to Switchblade's terra, after picking up on his scent. She followed Sparkling Creek, heading south of the Eskers as she went, so the going wasn't too tough. Standing weakly in a small, cedar-choked field, the mare gave a loud neigh, calling for the stallion. And maybe the other mare she had heard of... Hoax?
Hoax
Wench woke with a startle, unsensored vocalisation coming from an unknown equine. Who could it be? Nymph flicked her harks in the direction of the sound, and made her way toward the scarred creature. She scrutinized her for a moment, then released her calling,
Greetings. I am Hoax, one of the members within Switch's herd. If you don't mind me asking, what is your calling?
Spitfire watched her, whipcords lashing at her scarred hide. She too, had faced many battles, but had recovered from it over the years, mentally. But physicly, she was left with a limp, and scar adorned skeleton. Though her fighting skills were top notch.
Ayla
The noric-mix's sad ears perked up for a moment when the other responded to her calling. Her long faced lifted a bit, as she tried not to look so weak and pitiful. Yet her eyelids were kept only partially lifted; a sort of passive, equine submission to the other.
"Ayla. Named by the humans. I've recently spoken with Switchblade, and heard of you. Greetings." The mare spoke out, stuying Hoax in return before going on, "With your approval, he says I can reside here in this land, as part of the herd."
Hoax
Nymph stared at her for a moment. Why would she need my approval? Fem thought for a moment, then turned her attention back to the other.
I have no problems with you staying.
Spitfire flicked her caudal appendage, and stepped off abit. Tiara was lowered to allow porcelains to chomp at the vegitation.
Ayla
Her ears droop down one more as exhuastion begins to close in more. She was thankful that there was no agression or ranking being squabled about. "Thank you. So, you are the only other mare here?" Ayla questioned next.
Hoax
Fae grew weary, staring down the pathetic-looking nymph.
What do you think?
She spat, lacing her harks back. Xanthippe had a short temper with certain quadrups. Snort bellowed from her nares, flints tapping hell's surface as she staggered off.
SwitchBlade
Blade stood from afar, watching Hoax's answer, the question, and reaction.
Hmmm.
He walked up as she trotted away.
Welcome, It's a good thing you have found the homeland. How are you feeling?
Ayla
Her ears had come back more at the less than polite actions of the other mare. But Ayla couldn't do anything about it in her state. Sucking up her pride, she ignored Hoax for the time being and turned her attentions to the approaching lead. "I'm feeling better. A good rest and time will fix everything." Ayla responded, perking her ears up a bit.
Switchblade
Good, that cat made me freak a bit, I never liked big cats. He made a disgusted face.
