Windsong slowly strolled into the middle of the territory, noticing a rather lonesome Aphrodite. The heat was nearly unbearable, but the creek nearby offered relief. Seeing her, he approached her casually and sat down. "I fear this summer. We got so much rain in the spring....but now its so dry," Windsong commented, staring up at the sky threw the large cedar tree that hung over the mainland across from the bush he sat by. Windsong yawned slightly, his front legs stretching and clawing at the dirt. "Wildfires aren't pleasant..."

Vortex, Granite and Emerald both played by the creek, along with Avara and Bria's pups.

Windsong

Windsong shifted his weight, thinking about the territory if fire did strike. The creek would help prevent its spread, but the trees hung over the creek. Windsong smiled softly at Aphrodite's comments, knowing his children and grandchildren were all capable of running quick, coming with Windsong's blood. Windsong looked at Aphrodite, but with a meek glance, as she laid down. He didn't say anything, and continued looking beyond the tree.

History: Windsong wasn't supposed to be. His mother was the alpha, enticed by the beta to mate with him. The alpha male slaughtered his father before Windsong came to the world. Everyone, including his mother, thought lowly of Windsong and his sister. The male spent his life trying to prove himself, taking risks to make himself stand out. Windsong was captured by humans, but he later broke free and made it to Sparkling Creek Valley. Windsong served first as a Shadow Haunter, being a rapist and supplying pups for the pack, but later joined the Refudgees. He became the alpha of Manahcob Downs, and the mate of Tahti. After loosing Tahti, Windsong became the solo leader of Manahcob Downs.

Aph layed there. She had pups and sooner or later would have a new batch. Well she couldn't wait. It was fun to raise pups. Tiring yes. She sighed. She too did not speak just layed there.

Windsong thought, thinking what Aphrodite felt about him. Windsong didn't really feel that much interest in the other female, but felt something there when he talked to her. Windsong stared down at his paws, thinking of Tahti at that moment. If Windsong did fall in love with another female, would Tahti feel betrayed? What about his children? Windsong breathed sharply, holding his breath and diverting his gaze to something else. Windsong tried to think of something else, but his mind always lingered back to that subject.

She looked to windsongs face and just stared for a moment and then looked around.Whats on your Mind Windsong?She spoke quietly.She liked him. She has never had a mate so unlike windsong didn't have trouble feeling the way she did

Windsong sat up, looking at Aphrodite with soft eyes. "Oh...nothing, really," Windsong lied, smiling softly. "Just worrying about my pups. After they grow-up, they will be next in line to be alphas." Windsong remembered thinking when Tahti died, he wanted to leave the pack immediately. But, no, he couldn't leave his children.

Windsong hesitated, shifting his weight. "I just don't know if I can ever love someone like I loved Tahti..." Windsong whispered, gulping, hoping he hadn't hurt her. Windsong looked away, closing his eyes and sighing.

Aph listened and sighed.It is hard Windsong, But ask your self this would Tahti want you to not love someone again? Wouldn't she want you to move on? She'll always be in your heart and I'm sure you can't love another the way you loved her but that does not mean you can't love someone

Windsong listened, nuzzling Aphrodite slightly in silent thanks. Windsong looked over at Vale sleeping, his gaze softened and he held back the tears. Windsong shivered slightly, standing up and smiling at Aphrodite. "I can't love anyone like her," Windsong repeated, "But that doesn't mean I'm heartless." Now, it was all a joke...

She nodded and nuzzled him looking out over the pack.She sighed.You heartless? Now i think that would be something only a cruel person would call youShe smiled and yawned.

Eragorn came pouncing right back. He was Almost full grown. He made to pounce on his fathers tail.

Windsong chuckled softly, moving and nosing Eragorn, hoping to knock down his son. "Silly," Windsong scolded, smiling.

Aph laughed at their son.Oh how she wished she was that young again.

Eragorn fell over and gave a little growl before attemtping to tackle his own father.
