The blind mare galloped into the snow, tripping and falling many times. Though every time, she got back up. She was glad to feel that she was away from danger, but she did not care for the cold. She tripped on a log covered in snow and fell to the ground. She did not get any serious injuries, but was in severe pain. Again, she got back up. The snow was in clumps on her mane and tail. She had no idea that she was in a stallion's territory until she caught the whiff of one. "Hello? Is anyone there?" She called out.
I lifted my dial from the heart of the terra, my paperthings wide. The mare's scent drifted to my paperthins, and I smiled. I pawed the snow-covered ground, and whinnied.
I picked up a nice, steady trot, and then to a canter. My hooves picked up clods of dirt, grass, and roots as I did so.
I soon reached the blind mare, my maw carrying a sweet smile.
"I am here, m'lady. No need to panic."
Whisper gasped when she heard the voice, even though she sort of expected it. "Oh. You surprised me." She said softly. "Is this your territory? Could I join your herd?" She asked, looking in the direction of the stallion.
