Survivor
The silhouette of a mysterious feral vertebrate falls across the threes in the growing darkness of night. A slender, blood stained muzzle is lifted heavenward in mock howl. The thrashing of a startled adolescent alligator as it dives into the sulky waters is the only sound heard as Survivor pads by. His coat is like the Sedona sand, a deep, ruddy brownish red. His eyes are a pale, clouded blue, obviously part wolf, but something about him is odd. Somewhere hidden deep within his wild lineage is years of selective breeding. A pedigree built for speed. The greyhound perhaps? Come closer and find out.

History: Survivor's mother was a pure greyhound whose parents were both respected racers. When she was only two years of age she met a half wolf that had been sired by her father (making the wolf her half brother o.O) and escaped with him into the wild. The two had a litter of four pups, one of these pups being Survivor. Survivor looked more greyhound than wolf, but he was wild and untamed. When he was only a year old be brought down a cougar while trying to protect his kin. Survivor's sire eventually chased him away, sensing that the pup was a major threat. So Survivor left and search for a new life. He returned to the human world and raced for several years, but ended up in bad hands and was ruined. Still having the mentality of the wolf, Survivor escaped much as his mother had many years before. That is how the mangy red came to be.
Tri-Tundra
The vix padded slowly towards the rocky shores of the terra. Her pale gray coat ruffled in the spine-chilling breeze. Her sensitive ears had long ago heard a howl made by a good friend and member of her old pack, thus for the place the call was made she was searching for. Her bright emerald green eyes scanned the horizon, ears perked and twitching every so often. She soon spotted the brownish-red male. Her eyes fixed on him. no muscle moved. Cream patches on her coat glistened. She called to him a curious greeting with a small gesture of her muzzle. she stood, head high in the sparkling afternoon sun. Another cold wind made her eyes shut tight. She took in the moment.
