After his pets were attacked, the husband living at the ranch was out for revenge. He rode on his horse around one stretch of the lake. He stopped now and then to lay down leg-hold traps that were well hidden along part of the lake. Then he left.

sniffs around the lake. the smell of human lingers. he had never hurt a human, and had pups and a life ahead of him.... he mustn't be caught by a human. he lay down carefully on the beach, so tired... he sleeps, then gets up, and leaves
