Widow
feminine sighs, flopping down on the ground near the lake. she is starving, and her amber orbs search for anything to eat. a moose would be wonderful. she hasn't eaten for a long while, and her form is looking scrawny. still, there aren't many chances of her catching anything bigger than a fawn. oh well. a fawn is better than nothing. if she even gets one.
*Potential Prey*
This time of year, all the fawns had grown up to near adult size. There wouldn't be any more youngsters now until spring came around. But, there were still many opportunities to catch a bite to eat.
The breeze brings scent of some carcass... it smells somewhat old, but it could be an easy meal...
There is the scent of porcupine as well, although only the most skillful of hunters would dare to mess with such dangerous creatures.
There doesn't seem to be any other scent or sound of prey, although you could continue to look about if you don't want to investigate the few scents that come to you.
