Narsia

The hybrid, still battered and hurting from the recent battle, made her way towards the shore. She traveled in an easy pace with her tail held out slightly in good mood.

Narsia sniffed around until she came across the carcasses of the many dead deer. If it hadn't gotten colder out, the deer might have been too spoiled to eat. Narsia ate a bit of meat from one of the two does, and then waited for Ninaki to come and help bring the deer back to the house.

Ninaki

The wolf, slightly younger than Narsia, followed her to the lake. He also ate his fill, but paused before he attempted to help her drag back one of the does. With hesitant eyes, he looked at Narsia, "Would you be my mate?" he words were fumbled, but clearly understandable. Being the second youngest pack member, he never gave much thought about finding a mate.

Narsia

She grinned, but in a pleasant way before licking his cheek, "I wondered when you'd ask. Of course I'd love to be your mate." The hybrid nuzzles her new-found mate once before taking up a deer leg, ready to pull the food back to the Alleys. Mostly, her dazzled eyes stayed on Ninaki.

Ninaki

He reached down to take a hold on the deer as well, but paused and looked back into his new-found mate's eyes. Their dazzling look gave him the courage to ask the next question, although his heart thumped wildly. Again, the wolf spoke, "Would you like to have pups?" Almost embarrassed, because he thought for an instance that it was the wrong time to ask, Ninaki dipped his head down. He picked up one of the legs and began to help drag it back.

Narsia

The wolf-hybrid smiled, still holding the leg of the deer between her jaws. She nodded silently to Ninaki, with her eyes gleaming in delight. She helped him drag the doe to the Alleys.
