Morgan Rite
Morgan led Gunther to the lake. Once getting there she unhooked his leash and threw a tennis ball so he could chase it. She continued to walk til she got to a log and then sat on that.
Gunther
The large dog, a mostly black German Shepherd, trotted alongside his owner in a dutiful manner. His cinnamon eyes gazed at everything around him. He always enjoyed walks with his humans. Especially ones where he must move briskly to combat the cold weather, even if his thick coat already provided him with plenty of insulation.
He looked up at his owner when they stopped by the lake. Then his dark eyes trailed across the deep waters, watching them expectantly, as though he was waiting for something to come leaping out of them. Nothing did. He then felt her unhook his leash. At this, he ran out a few yards away and turned back to see her with a tennis ball. It didn't matter to him if it was a bowling ball. It was round and he was gonna get it. Barking almost savagely for her to throw it, he took off when she finally did. He quickly grabbed it up in his mouth and trotted along to meet her at the log. That was where he dropped it before he too climbed up onto the wood. He sat back on his haunches and lifted his nose to the sky, taking in all the fresh scents of the wilderness.

She smiled. She then watched him. She picked up the tennis ball and threw it up in the air and caught it. She then threw it towards the water. She petted Gunther after he went to get the ball. She gave him a bone and let him chew on it. She looked around and then at Gunther. She looked up as a hawk flew over head. She smiled and looked at Gunther
Gunther
Gunther, still breathing deeply from his mad dash after the ball moments earlier, perked up immediately as Morgan held up the ball. He watched as she threw it up only to catch it herself. He licked his lips as he eagerly awaited. Finally he saw the tennis ball fly towards the water and jumped off the log to run after it. He didn't get to it in time before it rolled into the lake. It didn't stray too far from the shore, though, allowing him to simply place a couple paws in the water and reach it with his mouth. He spun around and ran back to Morgan, dropping it at her heels as she petted him. He looked up as she presented a bone. Tail wagging furiously, he grabbed it and plopped on the ground, setting into the meat of the bone with his strong teeth. He placed his fore paws on either end and tore into it, gnawing relentlessly.
Morgan Rite & Matt Rite
Morgan looked around as she smiled at Gunther. She jumped up and turned as she herd something in the bushes. She picked up a stick and waited. Only to drop the stick when her brother came out. ''Matt? Wheres Roni?'' she asked. Matt looked at her. ''I dont know, Ive been looking for her'' he said
''She probably went to go press charges on you.'' she said
''Again?''
''Yes, you hit her and abused her Matt, she knows what she has to do.'' she said
Matt walked towards Morgan.
''Dont come near me, Matt, or I will have Gunther get you.'' she threatened.
Matt just continued as Morgan backed up. ''Gunther.....'' she paused and smirked ''Get him'' she said. Matt looked at the dog and then at Morgan as he passed Gunther.
Gunther
The large shepherd stood protectively near his human as he too heard the rustling of the bushes. The sight of a new man, a stranger in his eyes, stepping from the underbrush immediately put him on edge. Something wasn't quite right with Morgan, and he could sense it. His past training made him wary of such things. He stared with hard eyes at Matt as he started toward them. He lowered his head and emitted a light growl in warning. However, the man seemed indifferent to the threat of a big dog attacking him. He even seemed to casually walk past. His sensitive ears twitched at the ever-familiar sound of his name and then the words get him, causing the canine to jump up off his haunches and propel his body straight at Matt. With glinting fangs bared Gunther leaped for the man and attempted to tackle him into the frosty ground. If he succeeded, he would then try to latch onto his arm or snag a shirt sleeve.

Matt was easily knocked down by the dog. He tried pushing him off. Morgan seemed to have everything. She pulled out a gun from her back pocket and pointed it at Matt. ''Dont try getting away Matt, I will shoot.'' she said. She held him down just by her foot on his chest. She looked at Gunther, letting him do what he was trained to do before she adopted him. Matt struggled to get away, failing he stopped and looked at Morgan, ''You wouldnt shoot your own brother would you?'' he laughed. Morgan put her finger on the trigger after loading it. She would shoot if she had to, ''If I have to, yes'' she threatened. She hated shooting them but she would if she had to. Matt stared at her and then tried to get away from Gunther.
Gunther
A surge of adrenaline rushed through Gunther, pushing him onward, and only increased once he found his body making contact with the human. He stood above him with his large fore paws shoving downward with all of his 78 pounds that he could muster together. He refused to be pushed off that easily and tried thrashing his head about. He simply knew that he must somehow keep Matt away from Morgan. The man was dangerous and this put the canine on edge. Coupled with the need to protect his owner, he easily turned into nothing short of a vicious beast.
Morgan was pulling a gun from her backpack. Meanwhile Gunther tried to latch onto the man's sleeve and drag him back into the ground. His objective was to currently keep Matt at bay from doing anything destructive. So far it seemed to be working.

Morgan stepped off and let Gunther drag Matt. She opened her mouth and whistled. ''Enough, Gunther.'' she said handing him a treat. She petted him and then looked at Matt, she still had the gun pointed at him. ''Stay away from me Matt, and Roni, and Glace, or I will make sure you get beat and killed by me and Gunther. Go now, Matt, or I will shoot you til you fall and die and I will leave you for buzzard food.'' she threatened, she walked closer with each word, til her gun was up against his chest. ''Get out of here, now'' she said. Matt backed up slowly but ended up picking Morgan up and throwing her to the ground. She laid there in pain for a moment managing to speak. ''Gunther'' was all she managed to say, her rapid breathes and she held up her gun and shot it at Matt. Which she missed. ''Kill him, Gunther'' she said. She had, had enough of Matt abusing all three of the girls and wasnt going to have it anymore.
Gunther
The large shepherd continued to drag Matt up till Morgan called him off. Snorting, he reluctantly released his hold and stepped by his owner. It was obvious that he didn't trust this man. He stood there stiffly and solid as a rock while Morgan spoke. She began walking towards him with the gun. Gunther's eyes watched Matt with an unwavering glare. At first it appeared he was backing off, but that wasn't the case. With his owner now lying on the ground, apparently injured, the black dog snarled and charged Matt.
Jaws open wide, the shepherd leaped up. Every muscle in his body would aid him in this attack. Prepare to go down! the dog thought to himself in mid air, limbs outstretched. He was going in for the kill now. He waited for the impact and if successful, would immediately aim for the man's throat with deadly precision.
Matt, Glace Rite.
Matt was knocked down yet again by Gunther. Being on the ground now and getting knocked down by a dog made him quite angry. He tried to remove the dog from him and get up but yet again he failed. Morgan was laying on the ground in pain, her knees pulled up to her chest. She tried getting up but went into a bought of coughing, she covered her mouth and when she looked at her hand there was blood on it. She got up limping and trying not to breath hard. She took her gun and aimed it at Matt, but couldnt pull the trigger when she went into another bought of coughing. Matt was still struggling to keep Gunther away from his throat. Morgan pulled out her phone calling her sister Glace.
Shortly after Glace arrived with her truck. She got out and ran to Morgan, ''come on, we have to get you to the hospital.'' she said. Morgan shook her head. ''Im not leaving without'' she stopped when coughing came again. ''Without Gunther.'' she said. She looked at Gunther, Glace walked over and kicked Matt in the head knocking him out. Morgan watched Gunther. ''Call him'' Glace said. Morgan looked at her. ''Not til he kills Matt'' she said. She waited til after Matt was dead to call him. ''Come on Gunther, lets go'' after she coughed up more blood and went to the truck patting her leg for Gunther to jump up. Glace started the truck and drove to the hospital. Leaving Matt for the buzzards.
Gunther
Gunther was doing his best not to budge from his spot. He dug his hind legs into the ground and kept his fore paws on the man's chest, trying to keep him down. It was proving to be quite the struggle nonetheless. He would not give up, though. He would fight till the end if need be. He braced himself against any hits the man might send his way, muscles twinging beneath his thick coat.
He could feel his limbs tiring by the time Glace arrived. He was glad she did however, especially once she kicked Matt. It made his job easier and with that, he went in for the kill, snapping his jaws about the man's neck. Once he felt the man was finished, he hopped from the fresh corpse and ran to the truck after Morgan, jumping up inside. A couple of drops of blood dripped from his mouth. He settled himself inside, panting heavily. He had acquired an ache in his side where Matt may have tried to hit him off.
Glace & Morgan Rite
Glace drove frantically til they got there. Morgan had her other hand on Gunther. Petting him and patting him. Til they got there
