Luke enjoyed the peace and tranquility that the forest provided them with. Then the girl spoke, stating that she knew of somewhere they could go. She also said the place was peaceful and nice before she sent the mare into a run. Luke pressed his own heels firmly into the stallions sides and the stallion quickly picked up speed to catch up with their companions. It wasn't long before they reached the huge lake. Luke looked around as he reigned the stallion to a walk. "This place seems nice."

She nodded and slowed Sacred to a walk. She stopped her and slipped off her. She found a log and tied her to it. She looked at Luke. ''Especially swimming here.'' She said. She smiled ''I love swimming here its what I do mostly is swimming.'' She said and sat on the ground near the water. She took her shoes off and rolled her jeans up/ She got up and looked at him starting to walk backwards in the water til her knees. ''I have a bikini on. Just not sure you have a swimsuit with you?" she said. It was more of a question then it was a sentence. She looked at him and waited a response

Luke also slid out of the saddle. His boots met the ground with the softest of thumps. He heard the girl's statement about swimming and he frowned slightly. Had he known that she had swimming in mind he would have brought his trunks... But he hadn't known so he hadn't brought any. He could probably wade in the water a bit but he probably wouldn't be swimming. "Unfortunately I don't have any trunks with me..." He did take his boots and socks off and push up the legs of his jeans so he could at least get in a little. "Next time I'll remember to bring some." He thought of taking off the t-shirt he wore to let the sun touch his already tan torso and finally decided why not. His shirt was lifted off as he stood in the water and he tossed it on the bank. Tahoe and Teagan had now caught up with them and Teagan hung back with the horses while Tahoe bounced into the water, splashing anyone in his path.

Kristi could not help but look at him as he took his shirt off. She got splashed by Teagan and had to take her shirt off. She was soon wading over to the shore and laying her shirt down near her boots. She then waded back in the water all the while looking at Luke. She lightly splashed Teagan. She smiled at Luke ''Doesnt mean we cant have fun'' she said. A smile on her face. She was thinking what they could do to make it more fun then it already was. Well, for her it was fun. She smiled, ''What's your idea of fun?'' she asked. She was walking into the water up to her knees. She petted Teagan and looked at Luke.

Luke couldn't bring himself to tear his eyes from the girl as she stood in front of him. Though, he tried not to stare. You see, he had been raised to treat women right and not look at them as just something to take adavtage of then move on. Sure, he had his share of flings and drunken one night stands but he tried to at least be somewhat respectful. The girl said it didn't mean they couldn't have fun. "That's true." Then the girl went on to ask him what his idea of fun was and he shrugged... He thought plenty of things were fun. "It depends on who I'm with. When it comes to a pretty girl like yourself I think just about anything could be fun." He wore a charming smile as he replied.

She blushed a little at his words. She then stood. Thinking. About what to do. Looking past Luke. She thought for a little while longer, then she suddenly looked at Luke ''We could go get your trunks and come back to swim'' she said smiling. She wanted to swim. But she didnt want to leave him out of the swimming. She waited for an answer. Petting Teagan while doing so.

Luke could see the color flush onto the girl's cheeks and he grinned a bit. Then she spoke, suggesting that they go get his trunks and come back to swim. He nodded. "That sounds good to me." He then waded out of the water and grabbed his shirt from the bank. It was quickly pulled over his head and then he walked over to Sandman and climbed into the saddle. "Race you!?" He didn't wait for a responce before he pushed the stallion to a speedy pace he headed towards the house.

She ran out of the water. Splashing it everywhere, She slipped her tshirt on not bothering to fix it as it was just past her bikini top. She walked over to Sacred and got on her. She laughed and pushed the mare to race after Sandman and Luke. She was soon catching up. She had left her boots. Knowing they would still be there. She looked over at him ''Not much of a race when I can catch up'' She laughed and continued on to his house.

Luke knew full well that Sacred had Sandman beat what it came to a question of speed. The mare was fast which was why he often used her for roping competitions as well as barrel races. Sandman was more just your good ole fashion ranch horse that could work hard from sun up to sun down and not complain once. So he wasn't surprised when the girl caught up on the mare. It wasn't long before they reached the house and he quickly climbed down out of the saddle and jogged into the house "be right back" it didn't take long before he was back outside with a pair of black trunks on. "All set?" He made sure she didn't need anything else before they left.

She pulled back on the reins making the mare stop. She watched Luke disappear into the house and reappear moments later. She smiled ''Yeah, Come on im eager to swim again'' she said excitedly. She smiled and pushed the mare to walk along side Luke and Sandman. Soon, she was getting off Sacred and taking her shirt off and unbuttoning her jeans slipping them down. She wadded into the water, not realizing how cold it would be she slightly shivered. She looked at Luke ''Come on!'' she said.

Luke didn't waste any time in the house, he was quick to return wearing his trunks and climbed up into the saddle. Then they were off to the lake once again. Soon they were there and he was also climbing down out of the saddle. His shirt was lifted over his head and he took his socks and shoes off once again before wading out into the water after she had told him to come on. The coolness of the water was welcome to him, though it was a little bit of a shock at first. He continued to move deeper into the water, though until it was up to his waist "You coming or you just going to stay there?" He spoke in a joking tone with a smile on his face.

Kristi smiled at his question ''Why would I stay where I am on a fine day''she said with a cute guy she added to herself. She wadded out where he was but it ended up coming just past her waist as he was taller then her. She laughed as a dragonfly landed just in front of her in the water. She put her hand under it and let it crawl on her hand as she lifted it. She watched it and put it back down. She turned to Luke and smiled. She loved this place. She dipped her head under the water and came back up.

Luke wore a grin on his face as the girl replied, asking why she would stay right there on such a nice day. Then she came further into the water. Once she was only a few feet from him she stopped and a dragonfly landed in front of her. She scooped up the insect and then let it go after a moment. Then she dipped her head under the water and he dove under as well. They were still in the shallows more or less but the water was deep enough to swim in. So he swam around a few moments under the water before resurfacing. He shook his slightly shaggy and now wet hair from his face then grinned at Kristi. "It's been a while since I've been swimming. 'Til I started travelling and then didnt have much time for it.'' She said. She swam where she was just touching the ground. She dove under. Only long enough for her to do a handstand. Once she came up she smiled. ''Swimming with my brothers when I was younger. They taught me tricks I didnt know. Even though I was older then two of them.'' she said. Once she thought back she laughed at all the times she had dunked them in the lake or wrestled with them and wining in the lake. She look at Luke

"It seems like life just got in the way for us. Now Kayla and Bethany have their own ranch that my twin brother helps them with. And I spend a lot of my time either at rodeos or just working on the ranch." He didn't know why he was explaining all of this to this girl, but he was. Maybe he just wanted her to understand what his life was like. Though, he wouldn't trade it for anything. Then the girl dove under the water once more and did a handstand. Luke thought back to all the times he and his siblings had gone down to the lake to swim then partied by the lake with a bunch of friends at nights. He did miss those times. But he didn't let that get him down. He was enjoying himself now too. He swam out a little farther then turned and swam back towards Kristi. Teagan and Tahoe were also swimming in the water now, doggy paddling up to the two of them.

She looked at Teagan and Tahoe. She smiled at the dogs and looked at Luke. Her hair was in her face and she dipped under the water and came back up. Her hair was back out of her face now. She thought a moment ''I used to think life was just a game. I learned the hard way its not.'' she said. She didnt want to think about the way at all. The way she had learned was when her father got drunk one night and killed her mother. Then he had gone out a crashed into a tree. She had been devastated when she had watched the whole thing without even being able to do anything. She had learned quickly not to mess around with life. Cause it will catch up to you and soon youll be dead with no one at all. She shook her head slightly.

Luke really hadn't had anything traumatic happen in his life. He had come from a happy family who had always lived on the outskirts of a small town running the family ranch. His life had always been pretty good in his opinion and he really couldn't complain. Yet he would probably feel pretty sorry for Kristi if he knew what she had gone through. But he had no clue so he didn't feel bad for her. He continued to swim around then the sound of a country song filled the area. It took a moment before he realized it was his phone ringing from the bank. "Oops... That was probably one of the girls. I completely forgot I was supposed to meet them at their stable for lunch. You hungry?" He asked, knowing that his sisters nor his brother would mind some extra company.

She looked to the bank when his phone rang. She looked back at him. ''Sure, id love to come. Yes I am a little hungry.'' she said. She started towards the shore. Once on the shore she put her jeans on and then her boots. Leaving her shirt off as she didnt want it to be wet. Her jeans were another story cause she didnt mind. She looked to Luke. ''Come on. If were meeting her for lunch we have to go'' she said. Getting hold of Sacred's reins she led her away from the log. Once she had her away from the log she climbed up. Placing her shirt underneath her. She waited for Luke.

Luke followed the girl out of the water, sure that any moment his phone would be ringing again. If nothing else, his sisters were very persistent and would get a hold of him at any costs when they wanted to. Sure enough, as soon as he was out of the water the phone rang again. He grabbed it from his jean pocket and answered it. Yes, I’m on my way… And I’m bringing some company. See you in a bit. He then hung up and by this time Kristi was already on the mare. He just grabbed his clothes and threw them over the saddle before mounting, choosing to just ride in his trunks just how he was. He looked over to Kristi Ok, well we will have to take these guys home then we’ll take the truck. Then he nudged the stallion to a gallop and they were off. Teagan and Tahoe followed. It wasn’t long before they were back at the ranch. Luke quickly untacked the stallion and put him in his stall before helping to put Sacred, who he hoped Kristi would have taken the tack off of and put her in the pasture. Alright, I’m going to go grab some dry clothes and I’ll be back out. If you want a towel or anything I’m sure one of the girls might have some dry clothes for you at the house. You can wait in the truck if you want. Then he jogged into the house. It wasn’t long before he returned wearing a plain white t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and his cowboy boots once again. He jogged back to the truck, handing Kristi a towel. He then headed towards the ranch.
