Spades
Spades lay there tangled in what seemed to be an endless fishing net. It raveled itself around her danity hooves and as much as she struggled she couldnt get free. The small tobino mare fought so much that she lost her balance and feel to the beachy ground. A pain filled neigh excaped her velvet muzzle. She knew what was coming if she wouldnt get free from this. Spades could only last so long before starvation set in.
Sanuye
She moved quietly along the beach, her bright blue eyes on the ground. Things were just going horribly for her. So many bad days, so many long nights. Thats when her eyes lifted up at the piercing cry of a horse. She found the poor little mare, all wound up and in pain. Sanuye did the only thing she could think of, and pulled a knife out of her pocked. Hey babygirl... Calm down, eh? Calm down... I'll get you free... Sanuye worked quickly, cutting the net first from the lake, then began to move quickly, cutting it from the little mares hooves and legs. She handled the knife with precision, talking calmly to the little mare to keep her calm. Everything would be okay. Sanuye would make sure of it. She finally cut the last of the rope free, and Sanuye stood back, expecting the mare to take off running for the hills. There were plenty of wild horses here... she just figured Spades was another one.
Spades
Spades lay still feeling the harsh net begining to imbed itself into her flesh. So she didnt move. Spades rested her painted neck on the sandy beach. The black mark on her neck was shaped like a spade hence her name. Then foot steps reached her ears and she lifted her well defined head. There was a human running her way and before she new it her soft voice was talking to her and cutting her free. It all happened so fast and Spades launched herself to her feet and stood there faceing the girl. Snorting softly she reached her nose out. Spades knew the things that could happen when you lived with humans but te wild was just as bad when you were alone.
