*Food*

There is a faint scent of blood... cow's blood, it seems. The scent leads to a small chunk of cow meat laying beside a log...

Lucky

Wolf pup walked in, all he was was skin and bones. The scent that came to his nares as he sniffed the ground got him exicted. His mother died soon after him and his brother and sisters were born. He had 2 brothers left, they had a pack, he was a loner, almost died because of complication, he was smaller then the rest. For 2 years he has been by himself, soon he would be 3, till then, he didn't dare try to take a pack for his own, or hunt at the ranch. Peds stopped their movements as he came close to the meat, nares sniffed the ground, slowly he stepped forth, his hunger stood in his way of really searching for a trap.

*Trap*

Just as Lucky reached the meat, a trap sprung beneath one of his paws while sending bits of leaves and dirt up in it's wake. Only two of his toes are actually caught in the trap, which makes a very painful hold but also offers a grim means of escape if it comes to that.

Lucky

Lucky jumped when the trap jumped, he pulled a little but stopped because it hurt. He extended his neck to grab to food, then began to eat it, he was trying to take his mind off the pain. A whimmper was emitted from his maw.

*Trap*

The air carried no new scent of human; no animals spoke of a two-leggers approach. Lucky will have to await the night until the following morning brings the trap's owner around.

A magpie hopped across the ground not too far from Lucky. "You ate the food? You're trapped anyway, why eat it? I wanted to eat it. Food won't matter for you anymore." the bird spoke out in a flitting tone and pace.

Lucky

Orbs looked up as the bird came closer to him, he stood on his other 3 limbs and stepped towards it. "Because this may not be my end. Get away from me!" He barked. The small brute was only 2 years old, he was still good for something, to train to protect things, anything.

Tri-Tundra

When she greeted Akasha, she noticed the small brute. When she saw the trap she gaped for a few seconds, then carefully picked her way over, incase there were any other traps about. "Got caught in a trap did you? Never mind that, we have to get you out!" She looked around on the trap, there must be some release switch. She tried pressing on the back, where some traps opened. "If it doesn't open, you will have to give up two of your toes, and if it comes to that, you can stay with me until your well. Dark Star might even let you join the pack." She looked at the trap thouroughly, and stepped on what seemed to be an opening latch on the trap again and again, hoping for it to open.

Lucky

Small brute cowered away, he was scared of alot of things, old and bigger wolfs, humans everything. "I don't want to loose anything." He said to her, orbs looked around in case of a human. "But you shouldn't stay if a human comes they might try to kill you, please go." Brute pleaded to her.

Tri-Tundra

"Please don't be afraid. I want to help, and I will not run from humans. Not when you are in danger. Not unless you want this fate." Her eyes had a pleading look as she hoped he would except her help.

Lucky

He looked to the gound. "I'll except what I have to. I'm not about to get you in harms way." He looked into her eyes, then turnd around and layed and emiited a sigh. Lucky hadnt meant to hurt or insult her, he just wanted to be alone in case his fate was to die here.

Tri-Tundra

Her eyes looked to the ground as she too let out a faint unoticable sigh. She turned to him and spoke once more. "You know, you're life might not be so bad. You might get taken to a lab and tested on with weird things and forced to fight, or, you could get shot in the head by the farmer. Or, you could just die here. Those are the choices I see anyway." She then went around to the front of where he was lying. "I don't care about my life, if you haven't noticed. I care about yours. If you dont want to put me in harms way,Fine. I will do it myself." She laid down on the ground right in front of his face.
