Slowly, ever so slowly Silvertan awoke as the sun scorched her amber eyes. She yawned once, twice then growled loudly at an adventurous bee who was making their way up her pointed nose. Batting the bee off with her large paw, Silvertan turned and looked around - she could hear the conversation of others - of course, she prided herself in being solitary and single at her age. Most females would be swooning over dog wolves at the stupid age of two, for wolf's sake. Smiling internerly, she licked her jaws then, set off towards the lake.
Soon there; she stared at the water, a small lizard like creature wriggled around in the water. Silvertan knew better than to hunt it as prey, this was the young of some amphibian that dwelled in the water and speak of the devil, suddenly out of the murky depths came a huge crocodile. Silvertan, had only just made it far enough away before the monster emerged to be safe from its killer jaws. Snarling at it and retreating into the bushes solitarily, she decided she would have to start hunting sooner or later or she would lose all hope of survival. Silvertan had not always been friendless, she had met another two wolves who seemed to either be deadly enemies or had been fighting over her. She shuddered at the thought of wanting pups at that stage..disgusting! She lay down. yet, she did need a mate or at least a companion now. She remembered one of the dog wolves who had given her a discarded rabbit - good times. She remembered struggling to escape the human who had caught all three of them, her and the two dog wolves. She shudderd: Humans, she'd never go near them again. She was not afraid, just disgusted at the things they would do for something called ' money '. It was shameful.
And so, Silvertan lay there, head on paws..waiting. Waiting for anything to happen.
N A I K O O
I WAIT
Naikoo walked along the cold shores. The sun was just now coming up, the red tinted arctic/red wolf mix put her cold nose to the sand and sniffed it slightly. Just enough to get scent and avoid getting rocks stuck up in her nose. She lifted her head and sneezed. "Ow..." She whispered unser her breath. She continued on her way stopping now and then to check out the scents and her surroundings. She caught the scent of an older fea and ran for the shrubbery near by. She was young only 1 year and 6 months old. She sniffed the air hopping the wolfess would leave and not notice her but suddenly she sneezed and dust felw every were. "Eh.." She tucked her self deeper into the bushs, trying to ignore the attention seeking thorns on her stomach and kneese. "please don't find me please don't find me... please..." She repeated over and over. She was to young to fight and was only scarred with light nip marks her mother gave her when she was chased out of the den.

Silvertan's head lifted as a bush shuffled nearby. She sniffed and stood up as she caught the scent of another she-wolf. She guessed it was around 1 year and 4-6 months old. Strange, what was she doing around here? Of course she had obviously been kicked out of the den as was the system in the birthing den. Silvertan smirked then got up, hoping that the young one would not get too scared of her. Silvertan shook her head almost fondly when she heard a sneeze, now Silvertan could ignore many things...but not a sneeze like that. She moved closer to the area where the noise had come from. Silvertan looked down at the thorn bush infront of her;
"you can't stay in there forever you know." Silvertan sniffed the bush again , yep, definetly the bush the she-wolf was hiding in. "Come on, I won't bite! You've got to come out if you want some food!" Silvertan's paw entered the bush and she flinched when a thorn pricked her soft under-pad.
N A I K O O
Naikoo heard the older fea speak, she sounded kind and didn't seem like a threat. But when the paw entered the bush and came only inchs away from her, she changed her mind. This wolf could be playing tricks. Finally the thought of food over powered her instincts. The young wolfess crawled out of the growth and stood at her full hight. She shook her fur, ruffling it and hidding the bloody cuts beneath it, from the thorns. The blood wasn;t strong enough to break through her white fur, though the red tinted splatter on her back seemed slightly brighter, then again it could just be the sun. She held her head low and her ears back, her tail hung swaying with the breeze. "Um... Do you think you could help me catch some food..." She said in a soft voice. Her crystal blue eyes lifted to meet the she-wolfs.

Silvertan watched as the young wolf crawled out of the bush and realised that she was quite tall. Silvertan still had to look down slightly though. When the wolfess spoke , Silvertan's maw broke into a crooked , wolf smile. "Were you never taught? But, yes I'll help." Silvertan's loud voice seemed to echoe through the smallish clearing. Silvertan's gaze was then caught in the she-wolf's. Those crystal blue eyes seemed to be so beautiful that Silvertan could not look away. "So, um. Who are your parents?" Silvertan inquired, still not looking away from the young she-wolf's eyes.
