KAViDA

It had been a while since the white wolfess had last seen the likes of the lake. This lake with so many fish in it, which proved to be quite delicious, though not very filling.
Her light, crystal eyes studied the terrain around her as she made her way down a small path to the edge of the lake. A deep breath was taken in, as the air smelled lightly of fish. It urged her on, and she continued, standing at the edge. She picked out one fat fish in particular, figuring it for a nice snack, and without wasting another second, she dove her front end into the water. Her jaws snapped shut a couple times, right where she remembered the fish last being, until finally she could feel something caught within her teeth. She flung her head back with great force, sending a flailing fish back onto the ground. Licking those hungry chops, she leapt at it and ripped into it's flesh, eating it in what seemed to be a couple bites. Then she laid there, resting. The scent of fish was now strong on herself.

The Phantom Princess arrives

The Phantom Princess arrives in a wisp of of fog, she has never been to this lake before. Hiding behind some swamp grass her sky blue eyes peek out, watching Kavida in wonder.

The Phantom Princess watches in wonder

The Phantom Princess continues watching Kavida and realizes something with a shiver. She has been to this lake before. This is where her life was lost, where this most beautiful wolf, once a princess drowned. She chases the terrible memory away, and while Kavida is in a light sleep she pounces on a great shark in the water and eats it quickly. The Phantom Princess then licks her chops and retreats back to behind the reddish brown swamp grass where waits with caution, but alert and ready, for Kavida to awaken.

The Phantom Princess then remembers something..... She didn't die here, she faked it. She let her body float in the lake, knowing know animal would touch her because of her fierceness, and held her breath. She was always very good at that. She had let her pack find her cold body.... the body that had never grown warm, she had always thought about how strange that was, and they thought that she was dead and left her body there to perish. She wanted this. She wanted to be able to roam anywhere she wanted, alone, unless she chose to have the company. She hears Kavida make a short snuffling sound, and crouches down lower in fear that Kavida might awaken and notice her.

KAViDA

The white wolfess' ears were laid back against her head as she snoozed. She seemed to be in such a knocked out state that she'de never awake, but eventually she did when she heard all of the racket by the lake. She lifted her head slowly, blinking away the sleepiness, before getting briskly to her paws. She hadn't had the nap she'de wanted- no, expected, to get. She was a bit gruff as she spun about, shaking the tiredness off as best as she could before stalking down closer to the lake. Her light eyes landed on the other female. She growled lightly in simple warning. She felt rather protective of her space, and it showed in her actions.

The Phantom Princess though to herself "Great, I woke her up. Good job stupid memories."

The Phantom Princess, whose old name had been Kiki, steps forward and shows in her eyes friendliness but willingness to fight if she is attacked. She also points her ears in a friendly manner and barks a fierce but friendly bark.

Kavida wasn't sure how to react to this. She just wanted to chase this wolf off her plot of land, but then she also wanted to figure out just who this fae was. She snorted and drew in a deep breath, unsure of what to do next. She'de probably already made herself to look like some crazy, overreacting fool. Well, she wasn't.
Her ears twitched as she heard the bark. She narrowed her eyes into slits. "Who are you?" she asked, lifting her tail in an almost dominant manner.

Kiki

"I am The Phantom Princess. But you can call me Kiki, Kiki is my ~real~ name. I am often called the Phantom Princess because I seem to just appear or disappear because I blend in with fog. I used to be a princess, but I faked my death because I did not want to be a princess and I did not want to be in a pack. Now I am a lone wolf, but I have tired of it. I want some company, a friend as you may. I was exploring this area, where I faked my death," Kiki moves her head towards the lake, then back. "Looking for someone who might be willing. And I found you." Kiki's tail sways in a graceful manner.

KAViDA

Kavida gave her head the slightest of nods. She seemed to be quite the unusual character, if Kavida had any say in the matter. Her ears pricked at the mentioning of one 'faking' their death. She didn't understand why someone would do that. It was far beyond this wolfess. As much as she'de want to pry on the matter, she held back and simply took a seat back on her haunches. Her eyes took on a lighter expression as she studied this other fae. "Found me you did. I am known as Kavida." she replied. "Why should one fake their own death?" she asked, her own tail swaying. It would be a lie if I didn't say that Kavida was growing just a bit suspicious.

Hello Kavida. I faked my death because I didn not like the life that I had, and wanted to start out as a new wolfess.

KAViDA

Kavida listened intently, though found herself growing a bit bored. She faught back the urge to yawn, which happened to be quite strong, causing her mouth and jaw to twitch. She gave her head the slightest of nods. Kavida just made herself a life that she knew she wouldn't mind herself having. Well, it worked, pathetic as it may just sound. "Reasonable, I suppose." she stated, flicking her tail along the ground behind her. "So I am guessing you're new to these parts?" she then asked.

Kiki

"No, I am not."

KAViDA

Kavida was a bit startled at her response. "Soo, just how long have you been around here?" she then asked, beginning to feel as though she was prodding at this wolfess. She didn't want it to seem that way, but that's sure how she felt.

Kiki

"About a year. You?" Kiki was starting to get irritated. Why was this wolfess interigating her?

KAViDA

Kavida had already become annoyed, feeling like she had to be the one to continue getting anything out of this wolfess. She didn't want to be the one carrying on this whole conversation, and with a snort, she narrowed her light eyes on the other. "A few years." she replied, however was silent this time.

Kiki

"I don't like your attitude." Kiki says before jumping atop Kavida, knocking her down. She starts wrestling and biting at Kavida furiously.

KAViDA

Kavida, being the sharp wolfess she was, stepped aside with great speed to dodge the other's pounce. Her lips were pulled back in a ferocious snarl. "And I'm afraid I no longer enjoy your own," she snapped, reaching for her and blindly sending her own bites in the opponent's direction.

Kiki

Pushing Kavida away and keeping a safe enough distance Kiki says calmly but firmly, "Back off. I'm leaving." She then starts to walk away, clearly peeved.

KAViDA

Kavida simply gave a huff, turning about as well. "You won't be missed." she stated, obviously aggitated, and began walking away as well.

Kiki

"Neither will you." She barks snootily, then continues walking.

KAViDA

Kavida simply shook her head. It wasn't like that'de bother her. "That's great, please don't." she called snarkily, waving her tail about behind her as she continued walking. She didn't look back.

Kiki

"You snooty little nothing!" Kiki screamed as she tried to jump on top of Kavida and bite her head off.

KAViDA

Kavida was quite ready for this to happen. Hearing the movements of the opposing canine, she spun and jump up, aiming to meet Kiki in a jaw lock and wrestle her to the ground.

Kiki

Kiki dodges Kavida's attack and screams "Wait!"
