Tumult

The light gray wolf moved slowly toward the lake, he hadn't been here since he picked up Hydra. "I'm sorry for their doubt in you my dear. You are a wonderful creature and their lack of trust does hurt. But I cannot betray my pack, However. I am not sure what to do, because I'm sure Greyfell will want you gone...." He looked at her, his eyes soft. "What do you wish to happen?"

Lajzig

Deep in thought, Hydras wrinkled her nose at the sharp scent of ash that was kicked up as they walked. There wasn't much of it left after a year's time, but to the keen nose of a canine, the scars of the land still bore the odor of death, and it made her shiver inwardly as a flash of flickering orange and yellow slipped through her mind. She saw vague faces... she couldn't recall exactly who they were, or what they were saying... but this place, and the smells - it reminded her of a time and place she couldn't quite put her paw on.

"The last thing I would wish is for you to loose your place in your pack. I appreciate everything you've done for me, Tumult - I really do." Her feral-toned eyes looked at him when she spoke, shining with sincerity that was bolstered by her quiet, truthful words. Before she spoke next, her gaze traveled past her friend and towards the lake rippling behind them, this time her tones sounding a little more lost and weary, "If Greyfell cannot be convinced that I only mean to help the pack, then I will leave." She didn't say that she had no clue where she'd 'leave to', since she was still confused about her family, but in the least, she wouldn't burden her friend.

Tumult

His ears pinned as she spoke about leaving and his eyes stared up into hers. Not as a challenge, but more of a plea. "You will not go anywhere so long as I can help it. Greyfell has no words over you, I will leave the pack if he disapproves of your staying." He paused for a second and let his gaze fall. He hadn't meant to grow this close to an ex enemy. "Lajzig... I know you are confused, but I will not let a forgotten past hender your future. You are not dead, and you are anything but weak. I do not want to leave my mother's pack but if they want to throw you out, I will not let you be alone.....

No one deserves that."

Lajzig

Completely and one-hundred percent invested in Tumult's words, Lazjig took them in just as Hydras had with Lyckos, and in years before, with the departed Demon. She wasn't sure exactly how she felt about this fellow... but in the least, he was her closest friend, and she felt a little tug at the depth of her heart when he spoke in defense of her. "I..." Her sights had turned back on him, dropped for just a moment, then shared his gaze again, "...thank you, Tumult. And I'll do everything I can to convince them that I am not the creature they think I was." 'I hope... What was I like, if they all hated me so bad...?'
