Saber
Saber had not been here for long and yet already she had gone through alot. She wandered on to the bank of the bay. She looked at the sky the sun was setting creating a cascade of colors through the sky. She smiled yawned and laid down. Her blue pelt was speckled with sand and her eyes were half open and half shut. All that she had gone through made her tired. She laid her head down and looked at the waves rolling onto the soft sandy shore.
Keres
She hadn't been away from her hideout in a long time. Tainted was no longer Tainted. She was now Keres. She was determined to start anew. To forget all that she had known. To cheat the death that lusted after her. Tainted had returned as 'Keres, daughter of Wolfe and Anya.' That was her story and she was sticking to it.
Keres was Rampage's mother. She had not seen her youngest son since he was a newborn. She had no idea that her son had claimed Saber as a friend. Keres' family stretched greatly across the valley; her mother had many children.
She stopped and stood several feet from Saber. "It's cold outside. Don't you have a den?" She asked innocently.
Saber
Saber looked up at the wolfess that stood not to far from her. She smiled "Hello." Her voice was sweet. That was the weird thing. She knew how to be kind around females, it was the males she had truble with. "Yes it is pretty cold out isn't it." She looked back up at the sun it was more than half way down. "No I'm afraid I don't, and I haven't been able to find my friend Rampage." She laughed a little. She couldn't recall what had happened. Only that she some how got seperated. "Have you seen him?" Her slate blue fur flowed in the soft rolling wind as mist started to set in. Her eyes seemed to swirl. Were the dark blue would seem to be there would be light blue and same with the light blue.
Keres
Keres stood stiff in the snow, her face showing no emotion. It was when Saber mentioned Rampage that her eyes widened and her heart raced. She tried desperately to calm herself. "No. I'm afraid I've never heard of your friend." She couldn't tell Saber the truth. She couldn't tell this stranger that Saber's friend was Keres' rape-child. She couldn't tell her. It was not only to protect herself, but also her family. If they knew she was back, they'd kill themselves defending her. "Tell me, what is Rampage like? Maybe I've passed by him before." It was a clever way to find out about her son, she figured.
Saber
Saber had expected that. "He's kind... We haven't known each other for long. But I guess the way I see it he's misunderstood and he misunderstands." The wolves she had been talking to were not a threat but he had still talked to them like they were enimes already. She laughed a little "He's a little short tempered." She looked over the lake.
Keres
Keres nodded, fighting the tears that were threatening to flood down her face. She already missed her son. "I suppose it runs in his family." Oh, no. She might have said too much. Saber might be able to tell that little Keres was Tainted, mother of Rampage.
Saber
Saber looked back at the female. "What... do you mean?" She eyed her closly. Had this female really known him but was hidding it. What if this was a relitive.
Keres
"Uhhhhh..." Keres began, trying to find a way out. "Things like that...sometimes...are, you know, inherited..." She had the face of somebody who was keeping a massive secret. A secret so massive it can't be completely hidden. It might be obvious, to Saber at least, that Keres was indeed Rampage's mother. The little grizzled gray hybrid slightly resembled her son.
Saber
Saber eyed her suspiciusly. She suddenly grew wide eyed. "A-are you Tainted?" She grinned.
Keres
Keres tried not to make eye contact. The masquerade was over. Saber knew the secret. "Shhhhh..." She said in a low tone. "You...you can't tell anybody. Nobody. Not even Rampage. There are some bad wolves out to get me. Just don't tell anybody who I am, okay? If anybody asks, I'm Keres, daughter of Wolfe and Anya, alright? Do I have your promise?" She kept a low whisper the whole time, not wanting the secret to get too far.
Saber
She laughed "Don't worry I under stand that. I'm technechally being hunted my self." She had left a murderus pack. The only rule was that every wolf who dared to leave the pack would be killed. She had soon found her self here this was in the unknowns. No one had ever or ever passed those bounderies or at least untill she did. She was probably safe here but she kept a close eye out for them. "But won't your son reconize you?" She asked blankly. "Or does he probably not remember what you look like?"
Keres
Keres had been hunted from the time she was a newborn. She was born to Tahti and Wolfe, though she was taken in by Kalaber and Black Plaque. That horrid pack. Black Plaque later murdered Keres' real mother, the little coyote known as Tahti. Keres 'killed' Hydras, so the Lurkers hated her. The Haunters betrayed Keres when they accepted that murderer bastard Kalaber as an ally, who would later betray them, as usual. Stupid Haunters. They should have known. But they labeled Keres as the traitor. Ha. Funny.
Before Keres had disappeared, she was Tainted, leader of the Rebels, one of the most influential packs in the entire Valley. That pack had been passed on to her first sons, Runt and Tahiya Yuoniah.
Keres let out a sigh when Saber spoke again. How good it was to have somebody who understands. But Saber's question made Keres lift her head. "His eyes weren't even open when I left. He was raised by my older children. I...I won't even recognize him." A few tears were brought to her eyes at this. Even though Rampage was the result of Sora raping Keres, she still loved her son.
Saber
Saber looked at the ground and then at the sky the ligh gold stars sprinkled the sky. She sighed and turned her attention to the water. It looked like a painting. "Well I don't know were he is" she said a frown across her blue muzzled.
