Kalaber
Kalaber led the way and stoped away from the large lake.They wouldn't fight near the lake but this was the safest place to fight.Rajsa Stepped up next to him.She growled slightly.Black plaque would stand next to hydras
Gaara,Fosa, Akamaru,Choji,Cloudia,Ino, and Kibaa followed War song to the left side hiding..
Mohan led the other group to the right side and hid.Muso,Orochimaru,Sarutobi,Year,Kureni,Umbria went with him.Along with Half Moon,
The others followed Kalaber
Jake,Blackheart
Jake padded along silently.He followed Kalaber trying to spot Pumpkin so he could stay near her incase she should get to hurt and need help.If not then he just stood next to Blackheart and wait for the fight.
Blackheart followed along by Jake silently.His pelt was bristling.He tried to stay near Ghostling,but he might of lost her in the group of others.He hoped she could defend herself if he couldn't help her.
Kariena
Kariena padded in silently.She followed behind Lamber's group.She was ready to fight for her new pack.She was here to prove her loyalty and fight her new enemies.Eyes bright as she waited for the sound of animals snarling and her enimies cries of pain.
War Song; Phoenix; Saguaro; Seabird; Desert Storm
War Song led his party to the lake, following Kalaber. the massive black bear stood silently as he waited.
Phoenix, Saguaro and Seabird followed their alpha obediently. Storm perched on a twig.
Hydras & Others
Following after Kalaber, Hydras carried her banner high and proud. She knew she was one of the main targets in this battle, along with Risen and Kalaber, but she was not daunted in the least bit. She had survived six years in the Valley, fighting more fights than she could remember, and had beat the odds each time.
Around her, those on the main branch of Lurkers clustered about, ready to shed blood and give their lives to protect her and Lyckos. And around them were the Allies, from several different packs throughout the Valley, most of which having lost someone to the Haunters at some point.
Risen .+. Others
Moving into the land, Risen spied upon the water then hushed back to the warriors. "Don't go near the water, they have enemies in there no doubt, plus it will wash off the concoction on your fur." She said it early enough for none of the opponents to hear.
Moving, her and her army closed the gap between army and enemy. Her eyes set solely on Kalaber. To her, Kalaber was her target, but Wither had other plans. Kalaber's sister stayed on her side, watching her brother through her dull colored orbs. She offered little emotion in her look. Around her neck was a cotton mouth snake. So tight did he hold onto her neck that at a distance, he looked like a mere shadow.
The wolves lathered in poison mixed in with those who were not, to discourage the thought of any "funny business".
Risen's eyes narrowed on Kalaber. "You are a fool, and you will die a fool, Kalaber." She snarled, throwing up her head in agression, the snakes around her body twitched at sudden move, but continued to hold their place.
Mahala; Tainted; Others
Mahala rode in on Koki, the pack surrounding her. She had a cottonmouth snake around her neck, hidden in her long, dark hair. she stopped next to the warriors and waited.
Koki, Night Eyes, Yareli, Riverhawk and Sky Dancer all had ropes with wooden and stone 'spikes' around their necks to keep from getting bitten there. Koki, being dark colored, had poison on his hooves and fur. The canines had poison lathered in their thick coats.
Luke and Kane walked up and took their places in the group.
From another direction came Tainted and her party. The pregnant hybrid had three fierce snakes on her body. The rest of the snakes - all eleven of them - were each on another warrior.
Following Tainted was a deer, two birds, a giraffe, five tigers, plus the snakes and anyone else who tagged along. Knowing they could not ambush, being a large group with large members, they dicided to move in now.
"You will die today, Hydras!" Tainted shouted angrily as the tigers surrounded her. "I hope you've said good-bye to your pack, because you won't be seeing them much longer."
Kalaber
HE growled as soon as the haunters showed themselves and he lowered his head and watched them.His tail flicked but did not lower.The king cobra on his neck stayed tight ot his neck.No i'm sorry, your the only one who would die a fool, When I die I know that peace will finally come to this earth and you will be killed and the haunters disbanded and returned to their families and you will not be forgotten but remembered so no one else will try to rule this planet!He snarled.He still waited.
Samara moved up along with the other haunters.Sis your death awaits youSHe growled
Jake,Blackheart
Jake pelt began to bristle when he saw the enemy.Waiting silently for the siginal to attack.
Blackheart narrowed his eyes and a low snarl came from his throat.
Incalia & Others
Incalia approached the front line of the Haunters, taking Risen's left side as she looked over the enemy army. "The Haunters will never disband. You think that killing Risen will see the end of us? No. We shall never die. Risen gave us life, and we shall carry on forever, whereas you, Kalaber, you mean nothing."
Malacath, Vaermina, Ardeth, Onslaught and the newly returned Bandit joined the ranks of the Haunter army.
Lyckos & Others
Lyckos slipped through the Lurkers and their allies as he searched for his mate, finding her at the front as proud as ever. He stood beside her, a giant hybrid, and simply scoffed at the comments of the Shadow Haunters. Beside his father stood Quake, while Camden took his mothers side, near Argolis. Kalion stood behind his brother, and Vitani, Satan, Riven, Kuro and Suki all merged with the Lurkers and their allies.
Karitania led her brigade to the fray, sizing up the enemy as she came to stand beside the alphas in the front line. Behind her, her pack took their last look at the calm before the storm and said their goodbyes. Blood would be shed today.
Temptation .+. MoonShadow .+. Boki .+. Tyrant .+. Ghoul
Temptation had followed the allies of Kalaber. Moving quickly up to Hydras, the female lowered her head. "I..." Suddenly she lost her words and she began to fidget. Desperately trying to find what she had lost she spoke. "I w-wanna help you. I-I w-wanna h-help the l-lurkers." She had a pathetic look on her face, but there was a desire to succeed in her eyes. Her eyes flicked up, glancing at Ghoul in a threatening way.
Ghoul returned the look to Temptation. His eyes narrowed on the female as his hackles began to rise. "She understands..." He whispered to himself and to the coalition. "Don't let Temptation bite the darker Haunters. She know's about the poison I'm sure. I'll take her." He knew he would have to inflict pain on her to play a bigger sympathy card on the lurker pack. it was the only way for them to connect with her if they were to get on the inside any quicker.
MoonShadow and Boki came up close to Kalaber. Moonshadow eyed Incalia with a devilish grin on his face. Boki snarled and looked at Risen, but decided against his first decision. Instead he spotted Iota and gave her a threatening snarl, although he wasn't very intimidating.
Coming up a tad too late, was the ever faithful Tyrant. The black beast came from out of no where and moved straight toward Hydras. His head up and tail swaying gently over his back. When he got up to the alpha he lowered his head and then quickly gave his advise. "Please, don't fight Risen. I can't protect you from her if you are fighting back. And you know she plays dirty, and..." He lowered his head now, his eyes searching the ground. "I'm not sure what I'm saying, but I can't protect you from my sister. Especially if you are fighting back..." Truly he was afraid his sister would kill him if he got in the way, and he had every right to be.
Kariena
Kareian waited for the fight.Where you can feel fur touching fur.The sound of jaws snapping.Growls and snarls of pain and fury.Funny how pain and fury always seem to come togather huh she thought.Eyes of fire and ice stared at her enmies.Trying to decide who be best to attack.Blood upon blood rushing through her veins like pounding hooves as she thought of fighting.Fighting the ultimite word for pain,fury, and death after death.This thought made her smile.She would awaite before tasteing blood though for the siginal has not been given.Nothing changes much in fighting until you find that you died.Kariena pelt bristling with a new thought.Hearing her enimies beg for their lives to be spared.Those who fell for it would burn in the worst places possible.She waited silently.
Criminial >< Dreamscape >< Suenga
Criminial and Dreamscape both eyed Kareian, their eyes glittering. "Go for her, she is naive and easy." Criminial murmured, fur bristling. Dreamscape nodded grimly, awaiting for Risen to call the battle on. Seeing Temptation, she glanced at Risen. Knowing Temptation was a good player, like Criminial and her, Dreamscape knew that she Temptation was a good converter. When the battle was on, Dreamscape and Criminial planned to go right for Kariena.
Suenga stood beside Tainted, his fur bristling. "My brother is not amoung them. I am glad, in a way. I wish him to join us or the Shadow Haunters. Not to see demise with those scum." Suenga murmured, double checking for Patch's black-and-white, never-to-be-missed pelt. Suenga would fight beside Tainted, to the death. With teeth glinting, he eyed who he'd first attack. "I want to kill that damn Lyckos." Suenga whispered, so only Tainted could hear.
Risen
The female waited for a moment, wanting Kalaber to call the fight on in his own battle, but there was no word. "How pathetic, you call us out here only to make us come to you first?" She scoffed and then looked back. "Be that way! Haunters - ATTACK!" She was fed up with all the waiting.
As she screamed she ran straight for Kalaber, her jaws parted as she went to attack him, but out in front of her, Wither leaped at Kalaber in hopes of pushing him out of Risen's way. Quickly she began to tear at his face and neck, trying to make an impressive enough show so that Risen would find someone else. The snake around her neck, held tight, not moving as Wither had instructed him to.
Razor went for Rat Poison, a grin set deep upon his muzzle before it contorted into a venomous growl of hate as he launched for the other's neck. Trying to tear out the other's throat.
Looking around the mob of enemies, Riot spotted a Coyote before smiling, This was her first true fight, one that she could put all her power behind her moves. She quickly darted from where she was, skilled in the arts of swimming, this made her body stronger and quicker. Breezing through the air she leapt at Yaxley and bit at her legs and stomach. Trying to break something or tear out her gut.
Dab and Fleet always made the perfect team, the two brothers looked to each other, one's coat lathered with poisons as the other's was clean. With swiftness the brothers moved. Weaving around each other and around enemies as they both took aim to who they knew they were going for. Two females standing close to each other Vibro and Aphrodite. The males had their sites on them the whole time but even went around. With their movements that came up from the females' sides. Opening their jaws as if to bite and then diverting and attacking the opposite of who they originally were aiming for. Fleet bit savagely at Aphrodite's hind legs while Dab tried to come up from beneath Vibro and tear out her gut.
Iota smiled and went straight for Skeil, aiming at the pit bulls short front legs to try and cause her harm. Plus deliver the poison to the dog that rested around her neck.
Havik threw all 195 pounds of his weight at the enemy. His aim was one; Argolis. Going for the other's neck and throat.
Demolition also threw his mass around. Charging at Aidan before throwing a false snap at him to psych him out and then went for his hind legs and under belly.
Ghoul knew who his target was. Quickly and fiercly he went after Temptation; plowing the smaller female to the ground in a fur flying attack. Temptation yelped before baring her fangs to Ghoul and snapping at his head. Blood was quickly drawn as the two tore into each other.
Hazard snorted as MoonShadow watched everyone go into the fight. Soon he was off too and snapped violently at the other male. Taking in the tasteless poison as his furious mind went wild. He bit at the others neck while Hazard raised up and under to grab Moon's leg, attempting to break it. But he back leg was apprehended and he was distracted as Boki tried to assist the alpha female's son. Hazard snorted and swung around trying to bite Boki in the face, only to get another bite by Moon.
With a furious kick Hazard managed to get the hybrid dog off of him and focused his attention on MoonShadow. Tearing at the other's face. Sacrifice watched the two then went up to Boki and snapped at his hind leg. The dog could feel a slight fracture, but he had attacked back in time to get the female off of him. The four then comensed in fight.
Violence sought out a target and found Violet Reign. He moved to the enemy and attacked the other from the side
Black Ivory took Caraway with a frontal attack while Villain went straight for Satan. They both aimed for the throats of their opponents.
Shattered and Silver Trace double teamed. Shattered taking the front legs of Karitania while Silver took her back legs. They tried to cause the alpha to fall and expose herself to their teeth.
Hidari and Rasheetah also double teamed on Lasota. Pouncing with their claws extended Rasheetah would bite into the hind end and spine while thrashing her claws at the haunches. Hidari took him head on and bit at his throat, trying to swing around under him and tear up his stomach.
Toki and Tumult both took Jasper. Trying the same technique as Shattered and Silver had tried with Karitania.
Criminial>>Dreamscape>>Suenga
AS the whole pack went into a melee, Dreamscape and Criminial joined them. Going for Kariena, Dream lunging for her throat while Criminial went for her spinal cord. If Kariena dodged one of them, it was less likely, if even possible, she'd could dodge both sisters.
Suenga went for Hydras. She has wronged his mate, her sister and her mother. Dodged between wolves, he saw Hydras and lunged for her shoulder or throat. "Think fast" Suenga taunted.
Kalaber
He grined at risen spoke and snorted.He then made it look as if he would go for risen but as wither bursted threw he stumbled and then growled rather lightly but he went for anything but her neck and any fitals he would not be killing his sister. The king cobra held tight but didn't attack.
Rat poison was young but knew his duty to his parents well he only thought kal was his father. He lunged right for razor.He tucked his neck to protect as he aimed to bite the others face.
Yaxley he growled and watched the other carefully trying best to judge her but then he felt a bite on his left hind and he snarled and lunged for theothers tail.
Vibro: turned around just in time to meet the other head on but his sister wasn't as lucky.She had gotten her right hind caught and she snarled and turned around quickly attempting to bite the others face.
Black plague and the mamba now were heading for Risen.Black aimed to bite her face while The Black mamba aimed to bite her ear.
Rajsa and Samara were going at it
Kajsa and Tajsh were also going at it.
Tainted; Others
Tainted nodded to her pack. the small hybrid crouched down and stalked through the snow, moving around behind the Lurkers. Once in position, as close to Hydras as she could get, she struck out at the Lurker Queen. The three snakes on her body, all dark colors to match with her dark, grizzled fur, struck out at Hydras simultaneously. If they hit, the canine would be dead within minutes.
Kaden and Zahavi, two tigers, held the more orange-colored snakes in their thick fur. Both attempted to bring Black Plaque down. however, the snakes did not bite yet; they would if things got too dangerous.
Reiko slid up to Suenga. Without speaking, the fierce snake curled around the dog's body to offer him better protection.
Bamboo, a giraffe of a staggering 18 feet at the head stampeded through the army of the Shadow Lurkers Hopefully, if she didn't hit anybody, she would offer distraction for the Haunters and the Rebels. A snake was curled around each of her feet.
Zina flew up high while her marsh deer friend, Kanuk, swung his antlers at Lyckos.
Irakli, a tiger, and his sister Xatia split up for different targets. Xatia lunged for Karitania with the intent of grabbing the back of her neck and restraining her. Irakli launched himself at Domnia, trying to bring the canine down.
Mahala climbed onto a tree on the lake bank. she was armed with her bow and arrows, a blade, a few smaller knives and one of the water moccasins. She readied her bow, lined up her aim, and released the arrow where she saw Kalaber.
Midget & Halloween
Midget saw kaden and zahavi and quickly zig zagged around and launched him self at kden to intercept him before he got to black.He lunged at him.
Halloween the 900 lbs siberian lunged for Zahavi.
Lyckos & Others
With Risen's cry, the battle commenced and it wasn't long before people were being attacked all around.
Satan, joined by his daughter, Vitani, were so overwhelmed with the noise of the battle and the amount of bodies fighting that Villian was quick to close in. Satan's throat was seized, but he quickly twisted his head to try and slash Villian's face with his fangs to make the other release him.
Vitani quickly went for Villian's belly, but was stopped mid-air by Bandit. The large hybrid male snarled as he tackled her to the ground, snapping at her face and blinding her in one eye. Vitani madly began struggling and kicking at Bandit's stomach, while he tried to blind her completely - it would make the kill easier.
Lyckos, however, was luckier than Satan and Vitani. Being at the front had given him good vantage and stopped the chaos of the fight from swamping him. The deer was easier to spot than the wolves and cats, so Lyckos had time to prepare his dodge, leaping away from the antlers of Kanuk. His hind end was caught by the sharp ends, so he recieved some cuts, but that didn't deter him. Snarling, the 200 pound hybrid that was Lyckos readied himself to attack when a voice caught him off-guard.
"Back off, deer, this one's mine." Onslaught was stalking towards Lyckos, grinning savagely. He was determined to get rid of this pathetic dog, which would make Hydras all the more vulnerable. Lyckos squared up to the smaller Onslaught, and within seconds the pair had engaged in a bloody fight.
The problem with sons is that they tend to do stupid things in the heat of the moment. With Hydras faced with two enemies, one with three snakes, Quake took it upon himself to try and aid his mother. So, with Hydras being attacked from the side by Tainted, Quake jumped in front of the female, crying out, "Mom, Look out! Unfortunately, he hadn't thought about the snakes. Quake took the snakes bites in his front end, and fell with a snarl. The poison's effect didn't take hold straight away, and Quake was so furious that he quickly rounded on Tainted, snarling. "You fucking bitch!" The hybrid struck out at her face, hoping to blind her.
Tainted
Tainted looked down at quake. By now, he should be losing control of his muscles. The powerful neurotoxin could easily kill a dog within 15 minutes. "Poor foolish pup. Your mother treated my sister like crap and you won't let her accept her punishment." She said cockily, a grin spreading across her face. "It won't be long now. You'll be dead and there will be one less Lurker to taint the Valley." However, Quake caught her by surprise. She tried to dodge, but his fangs raked across her face. Thankfully for her, they missed her eyes.
With the younger canine out of the way, Tainted turned back to Hydras. "Your turn, princess." She snarled, launching herself at the older hybrid. Again, the three snakes struck out quickly, their fangs ready to inject venom into the enemy.
Delta & Kaytara
Delta was a player. I wouldn't betray my father's blood! How stupid are you, Kalaber? Delta ran at Hydras, acting as though he was running for Tainted, really. "Save the Queen, Save the Queen!" He chanted, as though he was willing to defend the Lurker Queen. A smirk spread across his face, he aimed for Tainted, but switched in a split second and went for Hydras's belly, large teeth and powerful jaws gapping wide.
Kaytara lurched into the battle, lunging out and going for Onslaught, her fangs barred. "Eat this, scum!" Kaytara snarled deeply, lips drawn and her fangs going for Onslaught's neck.
Tyrant
As he awaited Hydra's answer, the battle had begun and he suddenly stiffened. As Tainted came at them with venomous snakes, he almost thought twice about blocking her, until another was caught by the poisonous fangs of the snake. He snarled and almost went for tainted before spotting Delta coming at them at full force. As Delta switched from tainted to Hydra's, he was met with Tyrant's gaping jaws. "Back off kid, this is not your fight." He put his heavy weight to work trying to push the other away. Although not as big as some of his siblings, the 180 pound wolf wouldn't easily throw in his towel. Especially since the fight had just started and Risen hadn't even gone for Hydras' yet.
Delta
"Fuck off!" Delta pulled away, teeth barred. Tyrant was a traitor, but he was more then Delta could handle. Besides, he was Risen's sibling, why not let her attack him? Delta managed to get away from Tyrant, deciding it wasn't worth it. Lips raised, he pivoted and ran off, lost in the melee. Delta caught sight of Black Plaque, and launched at her. Going right for her neck.
Black Plaque
Being caught up in fighting risen if it hadn't been for the black mamba on her neck she would be hit but the black mamba saw this attack and hissed at delta and struck out at him.Black kept attacking risen while the mamba proteted her neck from delta.
Delta
Delta was lucky, the snake only hit his muzzle. The teeth never dug in to poison him, and Delta snarled. All that hurt was the two bleeding spots. Delta finally sighed, backing up and going for White Feathers. Lunging at her back.
White Feathers
White feather felt something on her back and she snarled and made to fall on her back to squash what ever it was.
Delta
Delta let go, going for White's stomach. IF he got ahold of that, one rip and White would bleed to death. It would such a vital wound that they wouldn't have time to get her to human help. "Tsk, Tsk, m'dear."
Hydras & Others
A veteran in battle, Skeil met Iota's attack fang for fang, snapping savagely at the other's muzzle and face. The white fur along her back was arched up like a mohawk while her whip-lash tail stood stiffly in the air.
Argolis wasn't quite as proficient in battle as his elders, but he certainly at the muscle and build to match his warring parents. The brindle male was both elated and nervous about being in battle, but didn't let either of these feelings get the better of him as he rounded on Havik, narrowly missing a deadly bite from the male. Strong jaws went for the Haunter's muzzle and face, mimicking Skeil's attack.
Like Skeil, Aidan had spent a lifetime in battle, even moreso than his Lurker family. He had watched sibling after sibling fall to the fangs of enemies, and very rarely did he get vengenace for their deaths. Today, though, he was determined to make up for that. Had he not been thrown into a life of battle, Demolition's strick would have seen him wounded, but Aidan was as swift as he was big. Two-toned jaws swept after the enemy as he danced nimbly to the side, and tried to catch Demolition about the shoulder.
Violet's Reign was not exactly experienced in battle. She came from a strong line of fighters, but she just hadn't been involved in anything more than mock fights with her siblings. Violence caught her along the side and sent the young hybrid tumbling with a yelp, her flesh laid open and bleeding. Frantically, she began to snap at the attacker, going for the eyes.
When their sister went down, Glacier, Isille, and Pharisee were on her in an instant. The three hybrids lunged simultaneously at Violence, snapping and snarling like a horde of banshees as they tried to rip the attacker to shreds.
Caraway was another who wasn't quite as skilled in battle as her counterparts. Although she lived on the Ranch with her father and siblings, there hadn't been much of any fighting there lately. While her attention was turned on the bustle of bodies and fighting around her, Black Ivory caught her in the front of the shoulder and bowled her over. With a startled bark, she scrabbled madly to get her paws under her and leap up. A fresh and sharp pain lit her upper leg, and she could feel the hot blood seeping into her dense coat. A snarl soon errupted in her furry throat as she launched her fangs for the other's neck.
Confused and frightened, Jasper hardly knew what to do when he was besieged by two enemies at once. Toki and Tumult were more than successful as they ripped and bit at the younger hybrid's legs. Yelping, Jasper spung right and left, offering savagely swipes of his teeth at their faces.
She knew full well that she was a target for many, but then, that was usually the case. "I understand, Tyrant." The queen had rumbled quietly, not about to ridicule her self-appointed body guard about attacking his own blood. There wasn't time for any further words though, for three enemies were heading her way. One was stalled by Tyrant, and the other momentarily by her son. This left her squaring off with Suenga, who she met with open jaws and a blood-curdling snarl. The hydras dipped down and sprung to the side to evade the initial rush, before wheeling on Suenga and lunging for the back of his neck.
Lerna sought out Kanuk, determined to help her father. Honthale followed after his cousin and chose Zira as his target. While the massive Honthale went straight for Zira's neck, Lerna took a different approach. She snapped and slashed with her fangs where ever she could, leaping about and contstantly moving around her foe.
Desmon, Dianthia, and Pistol stood guard in front of Hydras, each bristled and growling defiantly at Suenga. "Back off, Tainted." Des rumbled, taking a step towards the coyodog as he bared his fangs.
"Wait, who the hell is on our side?" Sundown snorted, lashing his feline tail from side to side in aggravation. Beside him, Sideskill shrugged his dark shoulders, "Dunno. We- there!" The liger suddenly tensed up, seeing the Coalition amonst the sea of fighting bodies. "They look like that little bastard we killed earlier!" The twin hybrid shared a leering grin with eachother before bounding forward.
Little Tuft was making his way cautiously through the battle field, following after Leopeson and Martimoor when a flash of tawny yellow and ruddy brown came streaking at him. With a grunt, the air was plowed clean out of his lungs as pain errupted around his neck and sides. Sideskill went straight for the throat while Sundown dug into the gut. Eight paws were latched into various parts of the lion's body, digging and shredding the flesh to peices.
Vensaai was right behind his older brother when Sun and Sides tackled him. The young lion hesitated for a second before plunging into the melee. Martimoor and Leopeson whirled around in a heartbeat and flung themselves at the two brothers, one going for Sun and the other for Sides. A confusion of flying fur and colorful insults filled the air as the felines engaged eachother, and it only got more intense as Aflaim, Hauyne, and Ignite joined in against the Coalition.
"We need help over here!" Ninaki howled out, gaining the attention of his grandchilderen as he rushed for Karitania. The beta launched himself for Xatia's neck, while Artemisia and Scaria went for the feline's sides.
Karma and Kensaii chose Shattered as their victim. The two canine sisters adopted the strategy that their grandfather often used. Bite and snap viciously at any bit of exposed flesh they could reach, while constantly jumping about and making themselves a harder target to hit.
"We're taking him." Wolf Eye announced, nodding his tainted antlers towards a large elk. Dandelion and Zanfire nodding in concurence and the three young stags made their way through the battlefield towards Harrow.
Bullet was fully convinced that Temptation was innocent, and so he had no hesitation in his assault against Ghoul. The large hybrid plowed straight for the Coalition member, tucking his head down and twisting to the side a bit as he tried to ram the other shoulder-to-shoulder and send him tumbling over the ground.
Lyckos & Others
A psychotic chuckle rumbled forth from Incalia as she dived into the fray, her dark eyes flashing wildly with sinister insanity. Her target was Suki, who was trying to pick out an enemy in the chaos of the fighting. Incalia took her by surprise, circling round to leap at her from the side. Her attack was aimed precisely for Suki's neck, and her jaws snapped round the others neck like a bear-trap, crushing her windpipe. While she flailed in a desperate attempt to escape, her mate, Kuro, dived for Incalia, yelling insults. Unfortunately for him Ardeth had followed his mother, and intercepted Kuro mid-jump. Suki's fighting died down, and she fell limp. Dropping her body, Incalia rounded on Kuro as he tore at her sons face. Snarling, she began to tear at his exposed belly while her son wrestled to keep him on his back. Within minutes he was dead: his organs lay over his body and the ground, blood pooling around him.
Incalia, barking at Ardeth to leave him, took up trying to rid the valley of the Lurker's allies. Incalia aimed her attack for Titania, and Ardeth aimed his attack for Vandras.
Quake fell to the ground, his legs now unable to support his weight. The poison from the snakes was slowly attacking his nervous system, and it began to shut down. "Y-your s-sc-scum," he hissed at Tainted, "p-pathe-tic whelp, t-traitor!"
Onslaught pulled away from Lyckos, supporting lacerations and a missing ear. Equally, Lyckos was no better off, with slashes over his face and some of the smaller bones in his front left leg crushed. Thankfully, some of his pack and allies came to his aid. Camden joined his sister in aiding his father, ramming Onslaught into the ground and the pair engaged in battle. Lyckos was reluctant to watch his son and daughter fighting, but knew that they were now old enough to look after themselves and make their own decisions. Still, he joined Lerna in attacking the deer, Kanuk. While Lerna kept his attention, Lyckos tried to run round to the hind end of the deer, avoiding the hooves, and use his height to bite into the base of the stag's spine, attempting to paralyse him from the 'waist' downward.
Suenga
Suenga dodged Hydras's attack, her fangs skimming his shoulder. Get her pups! Suenga thought, looking at Tainted. Then Suenga laughed, looking at the bloody scrap on his side. Suenga's fur had been poisoned, prior to the battle. He had asked one of the Haunters to apply some. Risen was a smart one. "Love the taste?" Hydras wouldn't be much longer.
Karitania & Others
Karitania found herself the target for three enemies. The first came in the form of Shattered, and the alphess tucked her neck and growled defensively. She was about to launch herself to meet Shattered fang for fang when jaws caught hold of her hind left leg. Snarling, she whirled round to try and snap at Silver Trace's neck, but found her front right leg caught by Shattered. Thankfully, she spotted the tiger coming for her as she thrashed around, and managed to duck out of the way, her muscles screaming in pain as the difficult manouver. Thankfully, allies came to her aid. With Xatia taken care of, Karitania howled out for help from her own pack, and it arrived in the forms of Thesarios and Xina. Thesarios aimed to try and grab Shattered's neck from the side, while Xina tried to slide beneath Silver Trace and tear into her soft underbelly.
Lasota also came under fire from the Haunters. Whilst trying to keep an eye on her offspring, she was taken by surprise from the back by Rasheetah. Fangs dug deep into her hindquarters, just missing the vital nerves in her spinal chord. Of course, she span round, aiming to tear into the cheetah's face to make her let go. Unfortunately for her, Hidari had sheduled her for an early death in this large fight. Her throat was caught, and her jugular split. Within minutes, Lasota fell to the ground, and felt the life drain out of her.
This didn't go unanswered. Riven and Illiya, Lasota's son and daughter double-teamed Hidari. Riven went for a neck hold while the cheetah was preoccupied revelling in his mothers death, and Illiya aimed to jump on her back and try to bite into her skull, or dig her fangs into Hidari's eyes.
Inkalio and Chaos also saw Lasota fall, and as Riven and Illiya rushed to take on Hidari, the males went for Rasheetah. Inkalio went for the back of her neck, to try and paralyse her, whereas Chaos went for her tender stomach.
Domnio's side was clipped by Irakli, large cuts making him bleed. Cursing, he found himself head on with a tiger. Knowing he couldn't take her down alone, he was soon joined by Lysian and Sxythe. Domnio went for the cat's face. Lysian went for a hind leg, trying to hinder the feline. Sxythe went for a throat hold.
Tainted & Others
Tainted snarled at the dogs who came to protect their alpha. "Back off, Des. I don't want to kill you." She didn't want to cause anymore pain for Aurinka. Killing the one her sister loved would surely be pushing the limits. A grin spread across the small hybrid's face. she raised her head and tail up. that was the signal. The signal for the Rebels to all turn on Hydras.
Kaden and Zahavi almost missed the signal. It was Xatia who saw Tainted. "It's time!" She shouted.
Xatia and Kaden swerved away from their attackers and took to launching themselves at Hydras' sides. Zahavi came around back, snapping at the Queen Lurkers spine. Zafirah jumped onto Xatias back and lunged at the back of Hydras' neck. All the while, each snake, curled around the necks of the tigers, struck out at Hydras.
Bamboo ran around the the vicinity of Hydras and the others, trying to drive any defenders away. The snakes on the giraffe's legs snapped out at any Lurker they could reach.
Tainted's face grew more solemn now. "Make your move, Hydras. I dare you." She taunted. Zina, the osprey, dove down and grabbed nearly-seven-foot Avery off of Tainted's back and flew over Hydras, swinging the deadly snake low enough for it to get a shot at Hydras. Avery stretched his mouth open and tried to poison the enemy and do away with her forever.
Kanuk had been bucking at the time Lyckos attacked, so thankfully had avoided paralysis. Unfortunately, the flesh on his side was caught in the brute's mouth. "GAH! Get off of me!" He shouted, trying to pull himself away.
Irakli, still naive from lack of experience, only managed to dodge Domnio. Lysian got his hind leg and Sxythe got his throat. "Dad!" He managed to gurgle out. The last thing he saw was his sister attacking Hydras and Majikan coming to his aid before he blacked out. He was coming close to death.
The snake on Irakli's back tried to slither up and inject venom into Sxythe.
Majikan's eyes lit up with fury. "GET AWAY FROM MY SON!" He growled viciously as his paws took him swiftly over the snow. He snapped out at Sxythe, trying to snap the dog's spine.
Koray, following his father's lead, attmepted to aid his half-brother and leapt at Lysian. He went for the canine's leg, trying to give him a taste of his own medicine.
Devaki launched herself off of a boulder and down at Kalaber, trying to crush the wolf under her weight. Tamaka followed his sister and did the same.
Vaermina & Malacath
Brother and sister weaved between the fighting, and spotted Nanuka, the cougar. Deciding to use the tag-team approach as many of their fellow Haunters had done, the pair launched for their target. Vaermina, being quick and agile, went first for Nanuka's face, and then jumped back, before trying to break her front leg. Malacath used his sister's distraction to try and sneak up on Nanuka and grab the back of her neck.
Nanuka
Nanuka felt teeth rake her front leg and she snarled and lashed out at her.she snarled and lunged to tackled the other.
Tango saw the two heading for his mother and quickly made do to run and intercept malacath and lept for him.
Kalaber
He had moved barely missing the two and he growled and howled signalling for one of the two sides to move in and it was mohan side.
Mohan came running out of the sides and came straight at the two that just lunged for kalaber.
The hippos soon came into the picture and went for the larger animals trying to bite what ever in half.Ruso went for Majikan.
Risen .+. Others
Snarling at how the other seemed to be completely avoiding the poison, Razor snarled and then lunged for Rat’s back legs. Trying to yank them out from under the youngster and snap them like twigs.
Riot almost giggled at the excitement before she felt her tail being snapped at. Soon her playful mood went away and seriousness set in. With demand, she turned around and began snapping back at the other’s face, trying to blind Yaxley.
Dab, quick on his feet, snapped a few times at Vibro and then lunged at the males legs. While Fleet, proud of his catch, began to thrash the leg around. Trying to tear tendons and break bones. If he thrashed fast enough, Aphrodite wouldn’t be able to get a good hold upon his skull.
Risen watched as the duo came at her, her eyes more on the mamba that on black, Dodging the snake landed the side of her face right into Black’s mouth. With a snarl she bit at the female. Venom looked up and stared the mamba in the eyes. “If you bite Risen, you are leaving Black vulnerable to my attack.” He said, squaring off with the other snake.
With Satan’s throat in his jaws, Villain smiled and began a violent thrash, trying to cut the windpipe. No matter what pain he went through, he would kill this enemy now.
Iota snarled as her fangs were caught in another’s mouth. But she gave the dog what she had. Snarling and snapping, letting blood fly from her gums, the coyote hybrid continued her assult. Trying to knock the other’s face to the side and grab one of her legs.
Havik smiled and laughed with darkness, as the other bit at his face, he lowered it and began to move his mass onto the male, trying to overwhelm him with size by running at him. Offering the male to bite his poisoned body.
Demolition was like his name, as the other moved, his body moved with him. His fangs caught his shoulder but Demolition shoved all his weight against the attacked area and aimed to grab at Aidans underbelly.
Violence tucked his neck and head, nearly closing his eyes as he bit blindly at her front legs, hoping to snap the ill experienced wolf’s bones.
As three other’s came to him, his body light up in flames of pain, he turned around to snap at all the others, trying to get them off of him. At least if I die, I know I took four with me, He thought as the poisons would surely be consumed and destroy those who attacked his main body. He began a loud yelp for help as his body began to seep blood. The poisons secreting into his own body, but the antidote kept his body from taking in the toxins.
Black Ivory ducked her throat and let the other grab her scruff, though made it seem as if she tried to get away. With her skin in the other’s jaws she would have a clear shot at Caraway’s front legs and began to viciously bite at the toes. Hoping to break the digits, not the leg bones, but the actual digits themselves to cause extreme pain when walked upon.
The tag team, Toki and Tumult, saw their success and continued their assult. Toki, the cheetah, soon threw himself on the ground and kicked up violently at the hybrid’s under belly, hoping to tear out his guts while Tumult aimed to take out his windpipe. The two barely got any scratches on their faces as they moved quickly, both thin and agile in their moves. Around Tumutls neck was Gaivis, one of the many moccasins of the Haunters, if Tumult got his hold, the snake would inject poison when he could, then let the others tear him apart as they wished.
As little Tuft was attack, Kidoka kept his eyes open from around the lions neck. When Sideskill attacked, his teeth scratched a nasty wound into Kidoka, pissing the moccasin off. With a split second strike, the venomous fangs of the snake were sent at Sideskill, trying to dig deep and inject multiple doses of poison to the enemy.
As the mass began to build, the snakes were overwhelmed with flying colors and bodies, their tongues were flickering madly to figure out who was who but seemed to hold their own: Heruogan; Kidoka; Zuhara; and Umarra all began to strike at the enemy cats. Trying to fend them off, though ever so careful not to his those on their side
With her dark body lathered in poison, Shattered almost welcomed the first few bites by Karma and Kensaii. But when the attack started getting annoying, she turned her attack from Karitania and began to sweep her jaws at the two, trying to blind them by attacking their eyes, or chomping at their feet. The third was no help, but she kept up her sweeping attack, trying to get all of them hoping to get off their front legs.
Silver Trace wasn’t poisoned like Shattered was, and when Xina came to attack, the female snapped around and began to bite at the other’s legs and neck, trying to get her off and continue her assault on Karitania.
Ghoul continued his harsh mock battle with his packmate, an inward smile lit as Bullet came to her aid. “Back off buddy, this fight is ours.” He snorted and lunged an attack at Bullet. “Leave him alone!” Snarled Temptation as she lunged at Ghouls back. By now the white wolf would be tinged pink in his and Temptations blood.
When she finally let go, Hidari felt a surprise attack blanket her in pain. With a cry she fell over and began to flail her legs around to try and slash something vital on her attackers.
Rasheetah looked up and was about to take action when she spotted two males coming at her, She ducked and dodged Inkalio, then lifted her hind claw and struck out at Chaos. Hoping to catch the other in the eyes, then turning on Chaos and continuing an attack and trying to break his neck with her jaws while attempting to tear up his chest and front legs with her hind claws.
Tyrant heard Tainted’s call and began to snarl as a group came at them. Zahavi was his first target, trying to bowl her over and then rolling under Xatia, trying to trip and cause her to fall, all the while trying to avoid being bitten by snakes. “Hydras RUN!” He demanded. If there was any way for the lurker queen to live, she’d have to live like a coward for a day and live. Or die on the battle field. He didn’t want to see either, but seeing her live would make him much more happy. He continued his raid trying to stall the attackers while dodging venomous bites.
Seeing the game play as it was, Risen gave a nod to Oraiyus and the bird was sent to get the rest of what round 2 would have been.
Darmus and Halabex came in at top speeds. Both of them set their sights on Kalaber, trying to take down the opposing leader; Halabex went to paralyze the leader from the waist down while Darmus took small nips here and their to cause the leader to bleed. Though all kept their eyes out for that snake that was around his neck.
Kalaber
Kalaber felt a nip on his side and he snarled .The snake on his neck snapped at the other animals.Kalaber moved from that spot.Wither was is opponent he would fight no other.The snake hissed.you guyssss are not hissss opponnent!The snake issed.
Rat fell as the other pulled on his leg and the other succesfully snapped his front right leg .He yelped.
Muso a hippo heard rat and came charging at the one on him attempting to take the creature in his mouth and chop him in half.
Yaxley snarled and closed his eyes when the other came for his face.He snaped at the others neck as it came at his face.
Vibro was quick and this time he moved.He growled and aimed to bite the others mid bbody.
aphrodite snarled madly and attemtped to bite anywhere she could get her fangs on.Blood coming from where the other was biting.
Black plaque kept up her biting.
The mamba turned its attention back to the snake and hissed at it.I quicker then you thinkHe hissed but did not strike at risen more over he was now trying to pay attention to the others rushing at plaque while keeping an eye on risen's snake.
Hydras & Others
The queen narrowed her eyes, lips writhing back as she stalked in a half-circle around Suenga. A faint burning began to tingle across her tongue and gums, and in the pit of her stomach, a dreadful fear began to fester. But she ignored this as she locked her eyes on the male, "It is bad enough that you betray the family that offered you unconditional shelter and support when you came to the Valley. Your sisters died defending us, Suenga, and you..." She spat savagely, "MB<...you're nothing but a fucking sheep! Following the others out just because you have a qualm with how I handle things. I certainly hope you don't have any conflicts with Risen, because she would much rather torture you to death rather than let you leave as I did." Around her, amid all the thrashing bodies, she could see a horde of creatures converging her way. Those who had been trusted allies had forsaken their pact over a single incident, and now the queen was to pay the price.
A hasty look was shot to Tyrant, but she didn't have time to reply. Fleeing from battle was something she only did with the rest of her pack in tow; she would not try to save her own hide and leave them to fight. With a roaring snarl, she plunged at Suenga again, paws extended and jaws gaping as he tried to plow into the male and seize his throat. She felt something like a sharp smack to her hind paw, but didn't bother to register just what had caused the pain. A snake bite.
While Glacier and Isille hassled Violence and went for the flanks and sides, Pharisee plunged straight for the throat. The young hybrids began to become aware of a growing burn in their mouths, but it didn't yet abate the ferocity of their attacks.
Violet Reign was snapping wildly, slashing and tearing at Ivory's face for all she was worth. Despite her efforts though, it wasn't long before she had both front paws mangled and the little bones broken and dislocated.
The young hybrid yelped pitifully as he was being torn apart by the two attackers. Toki was tearing through his underbelly at a vicious rate, while the side of his neck was snagged by Tumult. Jasper struggled and fought, but the pain was just too much, and he couldn't hope to contend with the more experienced tag-team. Especially not when he felt a smarting sting across his muzzle where fangs burried into his flesh. "Momma!" Japser howled out, eyes flashing wildly for Shiro, but she wasn't to be found. The world began to flicker from his sides as darkness closed in. Jasper wouldn't live much longer.
With no idea yet that some of the adversaries were poisoned, Argolis bit and slashed at whatever bit of Havik he could get at. His own face was quickly covered in lacerations, and despite the sudden burn that awoke in his mouth, he kept up his assault, trying to tear the enemy to shreds.
Skeil continued to meet Iota's attacks, sweeping her thick, blunt muzzle low and parrying the bites with snaps of her own. It wasn't long until her lips and gums were a myriad of gashes and smeared in crimson. Ever the powerhouse that she was, the pitbull drove foward as she attacked, trying her best to seize the coyodog's muzzle and crush it between her own jaws.
With his attack landed, Aidan thrashed his head to the side, trying to rip away a chunk of flesh and catch the major artery running through the shoulder. Whether or not this succeeded, Demolition had clamped down on a mouthful of dense fur and muscled flesh near his belly, bringing a sharp yelp of agony from the blue-eyed Lurker. Teeth struck out for the side of his enemy's neck.
Karma and Kensaii kept up their assault, unknowingly taking in more toxins than their smaller bodies would be able to handle. Karma was the first to notice the subtle pain growing in her mouth, but neither sister let this hinder their attack - yet.
"You're not going to harm another innocent female!" Bullet snarled back, fangs bared in all their terrifying glory. Only in battle did the big hybrid lose his teddy-bear kindness, and especially when he thought he was protecting a deserving creature. The Lurker dove forward to meet Ghoul's rush, but dived to the side at the last second and let the enemy's fangs graze across his side. Bullet whirled on a dime and brought his jaws for the other's throat.
The attack had been so thoroughly savage and intense that Little Tuft was all but torn apart before his brothers could do much to save him. Gasping spasmodically in shock, the lion struggled feebly to lift his head, but couldn't manage the effort, "Br... brother..."
Sideskill was just releasing his hold in favor for an assault on Martimoor when fangs struck his paw. With a yowl, he lashed his claws at the moccassin before springing back. Next to him, Hauyen hissed in pain as he got hit by two strikes across the face and neck. The hybrid feline bit at Zuhara, trying to crush the snake's body between his lethal fangs.
Having kept herself close to Quaidah, Ventisshou sought out a likely target. The ebony timberrattler slithered through the melee, and struck out at Bamboo as the giraffe ran by.
Honthale, Phelan, and Ninaki all targeted Zafirah and began to bite randomly and ferociously at the enemy to prevent her from reaching Hydras.
Down from the skies, Ikenal dove for Zina. The eagle closed his six-foot wing span slightly, rocketed faster through the air as he struck his talons out to seize the smaller raptor. Black Feather and Dapplewing, two peregrine falcons, were hot on Zina's tail as well, lashing out with talons and beaks to try and take her down.
"Hydras!" He was also hesitant to attack, on account of Aurinka, but he couldn't stand to see his own family suffer and die. Turning his back on Temptation, he lunged for Kaden, trying to take the enemy by the throat and make a swift kill.
Lerna made a bite for the stag's throat before she heard her brother's failing words. "Quake, no!" The chocolately sister rushed to her brother's side, eyes livid with emotional pain when she saw him buckled down, "Quake, oh please, don't give up." She whimpered quietly, dipping her muzzle down towards the stricken canine.
Peregrine & Others
The old patriarch of the High Cliffs territory could scarecly have guessed that the Valley would have one day become the way it had now. Where once he ruled a pack that worried over the occassional bear attack and finding enough prey, now entire factions were created of diverse species and employing methodical tactics in warfare, and fighting over more than just the basic needs for survival. It was at once awe inspiring as it was terrifying.
Peregrine's aging eyes picked out his surviving son, dashing through the melee to assault his distant offspring, Bergamot. Another great offspring, Violence, was beset by three attackers. But most of these childeren of his he knew nothing of, and was at a loss for what to do in any case.
"That one, come on!" Monarda barked, leading Donte and Dawning Eclipse towards the aged Peregrine. The trio converged on the great sire, seeing him as an easy target to pick off, and completely clueless as to their blood ties with the elder.
Confronted by the group of younger canines, Peregrine bristled and planed his ears to the side. As worn as he was, fighting against just one attacker would have been too much for him - but three was simply suicide. 'Ruby, we will see each other before the day is over.' The solemn thought flashed through his mind as the three attackers rushed him on cue.
Tainted & Others
Kaden was about to defend himself against Desmon. He was so ready to lash out, as was his snake, when Tainted stopped him. "No! Don't fight back. Don't kill that one." The small hybrid said commandingly. Kaden looked at Tainted, confused. He stood his ground, ducking his head down to avoid letting Des have a throat hold. He growled savagely when Desmon's teeth sunk into the back of his neck.
Zahavi ducked down, avoiding Tyrant's attack. "Brother!" He shouted when Des got a hold on Kaden. But there was nothing they could do. They had strict orders not to kill Desmon.
Xatia fell to the ground, nearly crushing her snake. Zafirah fell off of her mother's back and was taken on by three attackers. "Mama!" She shouted. thankfully for her, she was so small and sunk so deep into the snow upon falling that it would be hard for the attackers to reach her to do much damage.
Jake,Blackheart
Jake growling attepted to attack a lurker,but didn't know who to attack.He thought that none of the shadow hedge pack or the allies would thank him for interupting their battle.He then turned to Blackheart."Who should we attack,"he called to his friend.
"That one,"he said pointing his til to Malacath.Snarling he attepted to lunge.If someone got in his way then he fight them as well.
Jake followed Blackheart's moves,but came from the other side.
Kariena
Kariena snarling looked around for someone to attack silently.Looking around she spotted Dreamscape.She attepted to lunge at her.If Criminial got in the way she attack her too.
Sunega
Suenga smirked, Hydras's attack tore threw his muscle, her teeth reaching the bone. Tearing back, he snarled and backed up a few-stagger baby steps. "Feather didn't know how corrupt you guys where. You Hydras didn't let Aurinka's own mother, former enemy or not!, help her! How would you feel if one of your own children where dying, and they lived with the 'enemy'. Would you help if you could, or let them die?" Suenga challenged, the fur around his wound cloaked with blood. Suenga's fangs glinted the sun's dimming light, ferocity burning in his eyes. Suenga's pride and self-eestem had spiked with being the mate of Tainted, and the partial leader of the Rebels. "I learned something, Hydras. I learned that the Shadow Lurkers have nothing left to offer for me. Being with the Rebels has changed my life for the better!" With that, Suenga lunged at the weakening Hydras, fangs going directly for her neck, if not the chest or a leg. Suenga felt the rush, the need to kill. Hydras being a once-superior or not, Suenga wanted to bring peace. The correct peace, to the valley.
Dreamscape & Criminial
Dreamscape snickered as Kariena plowed into her, the wolf's fangs digging into her flesh. Paws digging into the mud, Dreamscape halted and pulled away from Kariena. "Silly pup!" Dreamscape smirked, "Tell me... does your mouth burn?" Dreamscape had been another wolf coated with poison, all over her body. Including the chest in which Kariena bit. With a bite like that, Kariena had gotten a big mouthful of that poison on her fur. It was now probably sinking into the gum skin, and would go en route to the brain. The brain would fail, and the organs would go crazy, then die. Such a sad way to die. Many wolves would die of it, and Kariena would be another.
Criminial, circling around, lunged for Kariena's back. Criminial didn't like the idea of poison, but she had some of it on her neck and belly, just for safety. If possibly, Criminial would snap Kariena's back. Then, Kariena's death would just be moments away.
Kariena
Kariena spet the fur out of her mouth.Then she heard what Dreamscape said.She was a bit confused at what was said.Then she smeared her tounge around her muzzle tasting the posion.Then she spotted Criminial silently she leaped back trying to get out of the way.Then she stumbled a bit falling on her legs.She let out a howl of pain as the posion began to take its course a bit."Your all a bunch of filths.Having to coat yourself with posion.Tell me can you not fight,"she said her voice challenging.It'll be a bit longer before the posion started going through her body.Unless someone killed her by then.
Jake
Jake hearing a howl of pain glanced in the direction.He saw a fea being attacked by two others.From her smell he saw that she was an ally.Quickly he detoured toward her knowing Blackheart could take care of himself.Looking at the fea and seeing that she had fur in her mouth he guessed what happened.Then he heard her speak.So they were covered in posion.He snarled at the two feas with anger.His claws unshealthed easily out of his paws.He wouldn't bite,but tear them to shreds if he could."Back off fur balls,"he snarled at them.
Criminal
Criminal smirked, lunging at Kariena's neck. Dreamscape did the same thing, both on either side. One of them would be unavoidable. After one of them got ahold of Kariena's neck, they'd go for the kill.
Jake
Jake slashed at both of them with his claws.Using his tail to manuver he attepted to stand over Kariena.Snarling he again tried to slash at them."Worthless pups,"he chided at them with a snarl.He shred their ears if he could."Blackheart,"he called to his friend and packmate.If he came to help then they should be able to keep them both at bay.
Blackheart came running when he heard.With a snarl he stood by Jake ready to kill.Claws unchealthed that were longer and curved.He was way older than Jake and experienced.He alos weighed more than Jake.He glared at the two feas silently.
Criminal & Dreamscape
Criminal and Dreamscape saw Jake, and snarled. "I'll handle this fae." Criminal replied, nodding curtly and going for Kariena's neck. Criminal's moves were swift, and unpredictable. One move she could be going for your neck, the next could be your belly.
Dreamscape pivoted, facing Jake with flaming eyes. "Your paws are huge, and I can dodge them easily." Dream challenged, "As for you, blackie, The only thing useful is your fangs. Both of you." Dreamscape's hackles were raised, and her tail held tall.
Avara had come to fight. Considering herself a Rebel, Avara caught sight of a fimiliar Shadow Haunter. A half-sister. Coursing at the wolf, the 100 lb Coywolf x Arctic Wolf lunged for Blackheart's neck.
Kariena
Kariena snarled at them.The tigers seemed to have intercepted the two feas attacks.
Jake,Blackheart,Kariena
Blackheart thought of something."We do have big paws and heavy weights that can crush you and other things,"he said shotting a look to Jake.Just then he spotted a new fea going for his neck.With a swift move he slashed out with his foreclaw.Then quick as a flash he leapt making it look like he was going for her back,but his leap was good enough to land on the other side.Then quickly he attepted to slash her head or neck with his long curled claws.
Jake snarled at the two.Quickly he spotted the one going for Kariena he leapt at her.Then suddenly he caught Blackhearts smile.Then he thought of an idea."Wait,"he called to the fea that was about to attack Kariena.Hopefully he caught her before she did her damange.He sluped to the groun making his claws shealth.He bowed his head saying he gave up.He had a plan though.Once they came for his neck and bit into it he use all his stregth and come up.If it worked than it should knock her off a bit in the claring driving the breath out of the fea who bit him.If not than it should just startle them long enough for him to get free.
Kariena watched silently.Her mind trying to think of something to get rid of the posion.Then her thoughts caught something.A long green stem that turns brown in winter.Its what she called yarrow.It makes animals throw up.And along with your thrrow up comes the posion,but left you weak for a comple days.That you can hardly move.Maybe theirs some around here.
Criminal
Criminal eyed Jake, snorting. She still went for Kariena. Avara and Dreamscape stopped attacking the tigers, nowing the equines or someone else could get them. All three of them launched at Kariena. Criminal going for the neck, Dreamscape to the spine, and Avara to the belly. All lethal blows, and Kariena probably couldn't miss them all. Two, maybe, but three, Kariena would have to be a super dog. "Don't let them trick you!" Criminal shouted.
Blackheart,Jake,Kariena.Khar'pern,Rawn,Kwee,and Pwéek
Blackheart with a snarl leapt at Avara.He tried to land on her and pierce her with his claws.Tail lashing in mid air angerly.
Jake snarling attepted to attack Dreamscape.He used the same tatic as Blackheart but with a different leap.He turned in midair using his tail.
Out of the bushes flashed 4 full gown wolves.Two smaller than the first two,but still full grownThey were realitives of Kariena here looking for her.Spotting her they raced to here.Kwee and Pwéek leaped at Criminial with a growl.They didn't bite her.They could smell and see the posion comming from their sister.Rawn and Khar'pern parents of Kariena rushed over to her.Laying down they tried to comfort her before she joined the skies.
Risen .+. Others
Darmus was missed by the snake, as was Halabex as they backed off a little. Pausing for a moment before running at Nanuka. Halabex, being covered in poison, leaped at the males front, offering him a bite while Darmus came around behind and began to bite at his haunches.
Razor, although covered in poison enough to take down the hippo, wasn’t in the mood to be eaten today. Louder than thunder itself, the black males eyes looked at the hippo that came at him. ”Fucker!” yelped as he dodged out of the way and made a run for it.
Riot snorted, allowing Yaxley to get a hold of her before snarling and thrashing. He would be poisoned by her neck fur. After running from the hippo, Razor came up to Yaxley and bulldozed to other, trying to get him off the smaller female.
Although lathered in the poison, Dab made sure to move away, his mid body nipped and he started bleeding a little. With a venomous growl he launched at the other’s neck again.
Fleet was growing pink with blood, though he carried no poison, he felt he was putting up a good fight. He began to bite more harshly at her feet. Trying to break the smaller digits.
Risen – PISSED that no one had taken her word to keep their damned mouths shut, bit more viciously at the female’s face, trying to blind the female. There was going to be some – major – punishment when she got back. For more than two had already been informed of the poisonous strategy.
Venom looked at the mamba, keeping his eyes open just in case he decided to strike.
Melee kept her eyes out, surprised more weren’t going after the Haunter Queen.
Without help, Violence soon became overwhelmed with his fighting, to blinded by Glacier and Isille that he didn’t see Pharisee come at his throat. As he was caught he held perfectly still, a sly smile on his face. “And I die a warrior, a god even. Unlike you scu-“ With that he tried to take a breath and he couldn’t. Within a few seconds his life faded and his body went limp. Knowing in his mind when he died, that he may have very well taken four our with him.
Stepping back and watching as the other began to favor their broken paws, Ivory took to a new tactic, Biting vigorously at her sides and stomach, trying to tear out her soft insides and maybe coax the other to biting her poisoned fur.
Tumult, not meant for the warrior life, hesitated as the other cried out for his mother. Toki saw the hesitation but did not have the same heart and thrashed more wildly as Tumult regained himself, “Wait!” He cried to Toki. The cheetah paused, holding he pup in his mouth and claws. Tumult looked down. “I-if you promise never to fight to Haunters again, I’ll take you to our healer.” He looked down to the pup. “Give up your heart Tumult, you’re a Haunter.” “And he’s a pup Toki.” The other was silent as he gripped the other, the wrong answer would promise the young one his death.
Havik continued his attack, getting his own deep wounds, tried to push Argolis down with his weight. Now trying to snake his neck around the other and bite at the base of his neck bone to break it.
Iota continued to fight back, but unlike Skeil, could feel herself failing at strength as she continued. The other had more stamina and within a matter a moments she had to turn away. Only slightly feeling the other’s teeth skim across her jaws. Leaving dark red strings glimmering from her lighter colored face. “You bitch.” She spat as she started to trot around the dog. Offering for the other to now make the first move.
Aidan’s attack scratched deep, but the artery held, even though it was almost visible to the outer world. As Demolition’s attack hit he began to thrash, trying to throw Aidan around and shake him up a bit before the poisons would start to work.
Shattered continued to feel their bites, though she didn’t let it hinder her attacking either. Although she started feeling dizzy and her steps slightly swaying, she bit down as hard as she could to the others. She wouldn’t stay conscious for very long if help didn’t arrive.
The snakes that had been in the lion fight were quick to evade a counter attack by the two. Kidoka stayed with Little Tuft, hissing softly. “Just hold still, play dead, they may leave you alone,” afraid to further aggravate the injury, the snake would play body guard to the lion until the battle was over. Lifting herself high so that all could see her, and hopefully avoid a confrontation with her fangs.
Temptation, keeping her eye out for the lighter colored wolves, aided Bullet, but was quickly followed by Ghoul and their battle could only continue. “Back off you bastard!” She snarled, trying desperately to aid the lurker leader.
With anger, and the sign that one of her pack members were now dead. Risen sent up the signal, for the rest of the Haunters to come in and invade.
Within moments, A few more filled in from the sides. Prisoner took the lead from the left while Alderon took it from the right. The rhino, with poison lathered onto his horn, took to Muso to end his chase on Razor. His horn swung, hoping to slice even a little scratch to get the poisons into the hippo.
Gymba and Yzunala were quick to move to the other hippos. Gymba tried the same attack of Fosa as Alderon had pulled and Yzunala moved on Ruso. Trying to take the hippos out with an evenly matched weight. Hopefully Joey would go for the smaller enemies and use his trunk to strangle them or break their necks.
Prisoner rushed in. Followed by Viyanna, both going for some of the dogs. Prisoner recognized Hydras and moved toward her, trying to stomp the lurker queen into the ground
Seeing the dead Violence, Viyanna screamed and moved toward his attackers. Kicking out and biting at Glacier, Isille, and Pharisee.
Kalaber
Kalaber once he was sure that he knew that most to all haunters were here he sent up his howl for the last side to come in.He continued attacking wither
The hippo chased right after the wolf.
Yaxley had a week immune system so once the poision had invaded he collapsed and slowly died.
Black plaque kept up her attack though one eye was severly damaged.she wouldn't give up nor die today.
Muso Felt somethng slightly riped his hind end.He spun around but refrained from biting the other quickly and then attempted to get the others neck . The poision began to work its way threw its body.
Fosa looked over noticing the rhino's immediatly and had moved just in time.Her little tail swishing. She moved and aimed to bite the rhino from where ever.
Koga even though he had been told to stay out of it quickly dove toward The rhino that was attacking fosa. He made for the eyes to bite them out.Being a peregrin he dove at 200 mph and only slowed when right by its eye.
The son of the two older hippos too noticed his attacker and moved.he was unsure of how to take on an opponent his size and one that has a horn.He backed away unsure.
Joey entered his tusks ver lightly poisoned. He just looked for where there were enemies and swung his trunk around.
Wither .+. Shattered
Wither continued to par with her brother. Trying to grab and shred his front legs to hinder him from moving.
Shattered looked to Joey through her spinning world "H-Help!" She cried as she finally fell to the ground. Too dizzy to get up. Light flickered, but unconsciousness was taking the best of her. She could no longer see.
Kalaber
He watched his sisters movements carefully and moved and then dove in for her hind leg.If he got it he would use all his weight and attempt to push her onto her side.
Joey heard the cry of a familar cry and charged at who ever shattereds attacker was.He threw his trunk at them hoping to hit them hard.
Heatherheart
Heatherheart padded along silently.Suddenly she heard snarling and growling.Turning her head she saw the huge battle going on.With a gasp of shock she came running to help.Looking around quickly trying to spot anyone who might need help.Then it hit her.A sharp smell she recognize anywhere.Posion was on some of the animals."If you need your wounds taking care oif come here,and if you can't howl or bark so i'll come to you,"she yelled over all the snarling and growling.Everyone would be able to hear her cause she could speak loud.She waited quickly going over uin her mind herbs for posion.Yarrow to throw up and get rid of the posion.Thyme for the shock.Wounds would be cobweb.Dried oak leaves to stop infection as well.
Jack & Pack
It wasn't long before news of the war spread across the entire Valley. Jack, being against the Haunters and loosely allied to Kalaber, felt the urge to join in. The African Wild Dog alpha stood beside his allies. "Hey Risen, you stupid little mite! Come and get me!" He taunted boldly.
Lily looked at Bamboo. It wasn't hard to spot her, as she was the tallest animal on the battlefield. "Traitor!" She shouted. Just as she was about to charge, Cassidy stopped her. "No, the snakes are with her." The dog whispered. "Crap." Replied Lily, changing her target to Incalia. The Gemsbok tried to gore the hybrid with her long, deadly horns.
Cassidy, Mark, Lady, Lalika and Aaron, all African Wild Dogs, went straight for Rasheetah, trying to overwhelm their enemy and rip her to the bone.
Kidoka
A snake, that was protectively hovering over Little Tuft, heard Heatherheart and tried to call her over. "He's dieing!" She cried, the lion wasn't able to move beneath her so Heather would have to come to him. The Haunter Healers weren't on scene. Though Kidoka started thinking that they should be.
Heatherheart
Heatherheart managed to hear her.With a quick look around she dashed across the battle scene toward themWhen she made it she began to look over Little Tuft silently."Whats wrong with him,"she said quickly.Already she began gathering herbs around her ready to heal.
Kidoka
"He was ambushed, he's losing a lot of blood! I don't know how long I can hold off the others" She hissed at any who came to close.
Criminal & Others
Criminal glanced at the family, snorting. "She won't live much longer, drop back!" Criminal snarled, running off with Avara and Dreamscape. Avara quickly stood over Shattered, willing to drag her off. Avara grabbed Shattered's scruff, waiting to make sure it was safe before taking her back to the ruins. "I got you. I'm part of the Rebels, don't worry."
Attikiva had noticed Heatherheart was gone, and came to get her. Seeing the fae, he ran up to her and tried to grab her by the scruff. "Heatherheart! Get back to the terra now!" Attikiva snarled. "We will not take sides with this war. Let that pups family take him to a healer." Attikiva looked at Little Tuft, frowning. "Take him to the humans. Now." The alpha barked, not letting Heatherheart continue with her duty of healing. The reason Attikiva didn't side with the Lurkers/Avengers or Haunters, was because the lose pack members. Someone was bound to kill Heatherheart to stop her from healing, and fowling their plans.
Delta lunged at White Feather's neck, lips curled.
Kariena,Blackheart,Jake,Heatherheart
Kariena was soon breathing shallow.Slowly she gasped for a breath and couldn't.Then she was gone.Eyes glazed over with pain,shock,and anger.
Jake and Blackheart went after Dreamscape and Criminial again.This time they tried to shove them in the lake.It might wash off their posion.They still stuck to striking out with their claws still though.
Heatherheart looked up to see Attikiva."Why shouldn't i help the others?I can fight if your worried about that,but i doubt i'm going to need to,"she said her voice trying to seek reasoning.
Attikiva
Attikiva snarled. "I don't care if you can fight." Attikiva barked, snapping at her face. "I can see you being killed while you tend a wolf. Follow your alpha's rules, and go home!"
Heatherheart
Heatherheart heard the snake.Quickly she grabbed cobwebs and put it on the bleeding wounds.She held them firmly in place.The blood would stop soon then.The cobwebs held in place fast and soak the blood till it full and it stops it from further bleeding.It aslo stops infection seeping in.Quickly he tried to give Little Tuft some poppy seeds.It'll take the pain away and put him asleep while she worked on his wings.Then after awhile he should wake up.
Heatherheart
She got up and follwed Attikivia silently.At least she had helped one life.Head lowered she glared at her paws.Couldn't resist she stared around atb all the fighting.Her eyes landing on all the dieing.She could of helped them,but no Attikivia wouldn't let her.With a sigh she coninued following.
Joey
Joey after getting The attackers who had injured his comrade away had turned back to find two animals coming at him.then one dragging her off of the battlefield.He had light poisioning on his tusks so if the others attacked he would thrust his tusks into them.
White snarled and then felt delt grip her scruff instead of her neck and she snarled angerly
Delta
Crime and Dream looked at Joey. "We got her safe!" Crime reported, looking at Avara. "We'll make sure she gets to the Ruins okay, and we'll be back!" Crime and Dream followed Avara at a slower pace, looking back behind them warily.
Delta moved so his jaws could wrap around her throat and the ateries, so he could snap.
White
she didn't allow him to do so.She snarled.You insolent beast!She snarled and then made to kick him in the face.
Delta
Delta snarled, staggering back again but then lunging at White and snapping at her face, hoping to blind her.
White
One eye was taken out and she snarled and shook her head from side to side and then lunged at delta's back leg and attempted to bite it and snap it.
Delta
Delta turned, White's fangs carving down his side, a huge gash now on his side. Snarling Delta turned and lunged again at White's face, this timing hoping to grab the skull or at least take her other eye out. Delta was vicious, and lusting blood.
White
She dodged luckily this time unlike the last two times. Blood dripping down the right side of her face from her eye.She then ran in for the other side.
Delta
Delta was mad, and went for White's now-blind side. Going for the neck, and coming from behind.
White
white being blind didn't see him coming.He got the top of her neck.She fell over as well on her side.She closed her good eye and just lied there. would he really kill her? Her tail tucked under her now.
War Song
The enormous black bear aught a glimpse of White in the corner of his eye. The battle was confusing, but one thing he knew was that this wolfess was an ally. He charged toward Delta, trying to knock him to the ground and pin him there.
Rasheetah
Overwhelmed with 7 enemies against her, the cheetah leaped up and bailed from the group that were after her hide. Sprinting as fast as she could, though not as fast as she normally could do. She tried to escape the mob that wanted her dead. She had no poison and knew that even if she died, none of them would die like Violence had done.
Instead she turned around and headed to where Hydras and the other's were, trying to get one of the others to be bitten then came back around and aimed for one of Hidari's attackers.
Hydras & Others
A faint wave of nausea rippled through her gut as the burning increased in her mouth, but the Lurker queen remained standing and undaunted. "Twist the words as you want." Her venonmous eyes lashed from Tainted to Suenga, "In your hearts, you know the truth." There was little more time for talking though, as Suenga plunged her way, met head on by the queen herself. Her head swept down and she bounced to the side, but her steps were strangely faultered now. With a muffled gasp of surprise, the veteran fighter staggered and left herself open for a split second to Suenga, who's jaws closed down on her upper forelimb. Despite the pain that was coarsing in her mouth and growing in her head and gut, she let loose a murderous snarl and sent her fangs for the side of her attacker's neck.
Desmon bit down hard, thrashing his head savagely in an attempt to make a quick kill of Kaden. He would not let his family die around him without a fight.
"Prisoner...!" The red deer had charged forward, thick shaggy mane bristled and antlers lowered as he looked to his old fawn-hood friend from years past. "Prisoner... don't do this." He said, his authoritive voice laced with uncertainty as he placed himself between the oncoming mare and Hydras.
Greatly hindered in agility and manuverability, Caraway could hardly keep pace with her attacker. Before she could parry his fangs with her own or roll out of the way, Ivory had her by the side, fangs digging in painfully deep. A sharp yelp accompanied the bite, before she lashed out herself for the side of his face, trying to take out an eye or shred an ear for his efforts.
The four siblings were quite excited over their mob-victory over the broken wolf below them. "We did it!" Pharisee boasted, puffing his chest out and waving his tail proudly. But Glacier wavered slightly, lowering her head and pawing at her muzzle, "Guys, I don't feel so good... oh, my mouth hurts!" Isille and Violet Reign shared worried glances, each feeling a sickness creep into their guts.
"Phar!" As they were beginnging to wonder over the sudden onset of symptoms, they hadn't noticed the young mare barreling their way until it was too late. Viyanna's hooves came down heavily on the brother's hindquarters, sending him down with a horrid cry and the muffled crunch of bones. The other three scattered back in shock and fear, narrowly missing getting trampled themselves.
Something evil awoke in Isille's eyes, and despite the fact that his heart fluttered weakly for a moment as the poisons set in, he plunged forward and leap for Viyanna's neck. Violet Reign sprung a second later, going for the mare's belly. Glacier made an attempt for the horse's haunches, while Pharisee kicked out feebly on the ground, crying and struggling haplessly.
Being a large hybrid, Aidan resisted the affects of the toxins longer than the smaller and younger canines, though he was undoubtedly feeling feebly of heart and lung, while his eyes watered with the pain that was tearing at his mouth and causing him to drool exessively. He tried to shift his bite deeper into his foe, while bracing painfully against the thrashes and refusing to give in just yet.
With Shattered down with her wounds, Karma and Kensaii were joined by their mother Tahirah as they rounded on Demolition. In an attempt to aid their father, the trio gang up on the enemy. Tahirah went for the back of his neck, while the two sisters harried his legs. Kensaii was the first to faulter, tripping over her paws as she went to spring at Demolition. A strong pain seized her chest, and she saw the world reel before her gaze as she floundered weakly on the ground.
Argolis reared up on his hind paws, driving his weight forward to repell the assault by Havik and prevent the back of his neck from being taken. The brindle dane-mix snarled in a chilling tone as he came down, fangs gnashing for Havik's eyes as he tried to blind the attacker. Adrenheline was pumping so thickly through his veins at seeing and hearing his family fighting around him that it staved off the affects of the poison, if only for a few more moments.
Skeil tore right after Iota, not missing a beat when the other pulled away. The muscly dog launched straight for the gullet of her victim, trying to clamp her vice-like jaws around the tender spot and at the same time bowl Iota over.
Off to the side, Harrow was stamping the ground and bellowing heatedly at the three young stags that circled him. "Fools! You disgrace the name of your true leader!" The elk spat, and was met by a cynical laugh from Wolf Eye, "If you're speaking of Nhosh, he's no more than a crippled has-been. Our true leader, and soon-to-be undisputed Queen Mother of this Valley, is Risen." Just as the young hybrid buck spoke out, Dandelion thrust his antlers up from the side of the elder stag, catching Harrow with a glancing blow. As soon as Harrow wheeled around to attack his assaulter, Wolf Eye and Zanfire tore into him as well.
Southern Bell
Southern Bell raced into the battle without a second thought.She was fighting for the Hidden Oasis pack.Mostly here to prove her loyalty.She let out a loud roar before heading strait for Rasheetah's attackers.From the smell she could tell that Rasheetah was an ally.She used her claws and not her teeth.She liked to use claws more than teeth cause the way she could shred her enemies.Sure she use her teeth,but right now she would use claws.Mostly she used speed and then strike out with claws fully unshealthed.She was a siberian tiger.
Delta & Suenga
Suenga snorted, going for Hydras's neck now. Because he moved, Hydras's fangs came down upon his skull, and then tore part of his ear. Blood trickled down the side of his face, Suenga's fangs going directly for Hydras's neck. "You were never meant to rule the valley, Hydras," Suenga roared.
Delta closed his fangs around White's neck, hoping to kill her instantly. It was a strong close, and he knew that she couldn't possibly live. If she did, White wouldn't survive much longer. Several fangs were directly in the path of the Jugglar artery. No one would get her help on time. When Delta saw the bear, he had already attacked White. Looking down at White, he smiled before dashing off. The lumbering bear could've been seen miles away, and Delta escaped him. If the bear didn't stop on time, he could possibly hit the already-dying White Feathers. "Cao." Delta called wistfully, turning his course for another foe. Now Delta was running headlong towards Desmon, hearing that Tainted wanted him alive. Delta woul run into him, and hopefully knock him out, and leave him there until the end of the battle. That way he couldn't be 'accidentally' killed by a no-brained fighter.
White
She yelped and just lied there. If she getting treated soon she would mostlikly die..She lay there tired exausted and in pain and bleeding.
War Song; Others
War Song, seeing that Delta moved on to another target, attempted to lift White up. He had to get her out of here.
Kaden roared in pain when Desmon's fangs dug into his neck. Several veins were severed, as well as his windpipe. Within moments, he was dead.
Zahavi's eyes widened when his brother died in front of him. Forget Tainted's order. This was personal. "You killed my brother, you freakin' mutt!" He snapped, trying to bowl the hybrid down. however, he made sure not to do it so hard as to kill Desmon.
Tainted looked at Hydras. "Your preaching has no effect on my mate anymore, Hydras. your brainwashing was ineffective." She said sarcastically before turning to Desmon. "We'll bring him back to my mother's place. He can wait for Aurinka there."
White
White was lifted up easily and white gave no objectionHer right eye was gone and her neck bled.
Risen .+. Others
Risen sneered to Jack, but would not let down her guard from Black as she continued to attack the fea, though she felt she was going no were and quickly turned and ran at Jack. Venom, around her neck, held low until Risen made to attack his front legs. At the same time, Venom struck out at Jack in attempts to catch the canine in a venomous trap.
Prisoner haulted and snorted “Legend you are on the wrong side. Stop fighting us, I don’t want to see you get hurt!” She snorted and reared up, pawing the air in frustration. The image of her injured son flashing threw her mind made her wildly bite back on the urge to bulldoze through her childhood friend and tear Hydras to shreds.
With the great comeback of Caraway, Ivory dodged as much as she could, but her black ear suddenly turned crimson red and it was torn in the jaws of the other. With a sharp yelp the female moved back, only to regain herself with a new blaze of hatred and launch back at Car, trying to force her body between the other’s legs and cause her to flip over so that she could get to her undersides.
Viyanna reared up to dodge Isille’s attack, but as she did this Violet Reign was able to scrape across her belly. She aimed out with her hooves to all that she could to give them her poison, but quickly felt her haunches buckle at the attack of Glacier.
A massive army soon presented itself against Demolition, but unlike his brother, he wouldn’t just let himself be torn to pieces. But their attacks seemed to grow weak as he watched Kensaii fall to the ground. With a menacing laugh he turned and bit at Karma, trying to knock her attack off and then rounded on Tahirah. His tail fuzzed and he was quick to try and keep the others off his vitals. Although already wounded and attack with a slight limp, he tried to ignore the pain and continue his mission – kill.
Havik snarled greatly as he felt himself lose the other then watch fangs come at him. With a piercing cry, his left eye was severed, mimicking that of his grandfather. With the pain, anger arose and the beast leapt at his legs to snap them.
Iota’s movements had Skeil clamped around the side of her neck. Not her throat. The hybrid yelped as she was pushed over, flailing helplessly and trying to kick the dog off of her.
Kalaber
He snarled aimeing to pin his sister down.
Black plaque:Eh growled her muzzle dripping in most likely her own blood and risens.She ran straight after risen.Dodging in and out of others fighting.Her snake held tight and stayed put.
Criminal
Criminal and Dream returned, immediately going for Risen's attacks. Slamming into anyone, Dream leapt into Plaque's path, hoping to take her blow instead of Risen.

Crime & Dream
Dream rolled away, panting. Lips curling, "Not going to play fair, I see!" Dream had escaped the melee of tigers, obviously well pissed off. "Here's a tip, loud-mouth," Dream screamed at Jake, "Pick on someone your own size!" Suddenly, hidden in her fur, struck Mambo, the Black Mamba. The snake's poisonous fangs, which could kill anyone in a matter of minutes, going for the animals shoulder. There was not just one snake, but two. Destroyer, another Mamba, also struck out at Jake, on the opposite side. They were almost impossible-to-avoid strikes. Even if he avoided one, he would be struck by the other.
Crime felt claws from both Ghostling and Blackheather, blood drawn from each side. Crime snarled, pain rippling threw her body. I can't die...I can't die! Crime thought, looking around desperately. Crime gasped for air, looking around to escape. Rolling into the melee of running-around wolves, Crime was trambled slightly, but she had been lost from the tigers. Crime was afraid, being seperated from her sister. Dream was okay, she had two snakes. Mambo and Destroyer would protect her sister. Crime felt the adrenaline burning inside of her, making her feel sick. Crime needed to find a new target. Someone who would fight her fair and square! Crime aimed her attack at Lerna, running up to the Lurker fae and slamming into her, fangs hoping to rip down her side.
Blackheart,Jake
Jake managed to doge one snake,but was struck lightly in the shoulder by the other.Only a little venom entered him,but enough to kill.He let out a startled cry.
Blackheart growled with sasfiaction when his claws hit their mark.Hearing Jake he turned and attepted to pick the less weighted and younger tiger up.He get him help.
Jake groaned when he was picked up the venom in his veins.
Blackheart raced off to find help.
Hydras & Others
The side of her neck was seized by Suenga and she thrashed violently to the side to try and pull herself free of the dangerous grip, even though, in the end, nothing would save her from death on this day, “That was never my intention!” She snarled back heatedly as she aimed bite to maim his shoulder and cripple him. Her stomach knotted tighter now, rivaling the pain that was now burning in her neck where the traitor’s jaws were digging in deep. A steady weakness left her legs suddenly trembling until her hindquarters sank towards the ground. But still, the queen fought for all she was worth, for all her pack members, family, and allies that were battling in the name of the Lurkers.
Seeing that Delta was coming his way, Desmon braced for the impact and readied to lay into the beast. However, a second attacker caught him off guard, sending him tumbling across the ground with a startled yelp. The hybrid began to snap and bite frantically at Zahavi and Delta, trying to free himself from them.
Honthale, hearing his brother’s yelp, rushed in to help. Snarling like a demon, he pounced for Zahavi, trying to catch her by the throat and kill her in one swift bite.
The stag held his ground, nightmarish images of his own invading the back of his mind. “Your side enslaved and killed my family.” Legend edged in a level voice that was bordering on fury, but tempered with unease at the thought of assaulting his old friend, “I have to protect those that are left.”
Caraway tried to sidestep the rushing attacker, and she would have been successful if not for her broken paws. Yelping on her own accord as pain lanced up the wounded limbs, Ivory had a clear and seemless execution of her tactic. Caraway was flipped over, exposing her pale belly and throat as she writhed and scrambled to quickly right herself…
The quiet little female dodged deftly away from the lethal hooves, not uttering a snarl or growl to the mare. Violet drew back a few paces along with Isille, while Glacier was doing all she could to tear at Viyanna’s hindquarters and shred the muscles. But even as she worked on the horse, Glacier was feeling her breath harder and harder to draw in.
Karma took a bite to the side of the neck, and scrambled back with a vicious snarl. About this time, her steps faltered more, and before she could have another go at Demolition, she crumbled to the ground like her sister. Tahirah was quickly worked into a frenzy at seeing her daughters fall before her, struggling vainly on the ground as they tried to rise up. The pitbull took a deep gash across her face the sent a fresh torrent of crimson washing down her white and tan head, but it didn’t slow her down in the least bit. Powerful, squat hind limbs drove her forward as she tried to work her muzzle for the other’s tender neck.
Something of a wicked grin etched into the corners of his writhing lips when he took the eye, but his victory was a short-lived one. Weakening like his aunt and cousins, Argolis finally made a major slip up as his reflexes failed him. His upper front leg was caught by Havik and the bone crushed between his jaws. With a horrible yelp, the brindle male made a rash bite for Havik’s face, trying to tear and rend the flesh as much as possible.
Skeil held fast and bit hard, not about to let her hold go, even as she came to realize it was not a fatal one. The pit bull thrashed wildly and snarled in a deafening pitch and she tried to maul the flesh and shred it, ignoring the painful kicks and struggles that her foe was putting up.
Swinging his antlers left and right, Harrow managed to score only one hit before a weakness hit him like a ton of bricks. His muscles seized violently, and his heart fluttered and brought a wash of faintness that made his legs weak. The world spun and darkened before his eyes, and then he crashed to the ground.
Before the elk had crashed to the ground, his life sucked away by the volatile toxins of the taxus plant, a crushing blow from one of his hooves had slammed squarely into Dandelion’s shoulder, splintering the scapula and causing him to fall down with a pained bark. This elicited a furious reaction from Zanfire and Wolf Eye, who continued to stab and kick at the fallen Harrow until they were sure he was good and dead.
Tainted, Jack & Others
Tainted looked down at Des. "We're going to take you to your girlfriend. How does that sound?" She said snarkily. Then came Honthale. "Zahavi! Move!"
Zahavi, the massive tiger, spun around to the other side of Desmon. "If you touch me, the dog dies." He then reached out to grab Des by the scruff. If he was successful, he would take the hybrid to Manahcob Downs.
Jack, being many yards away from Risen and on a boulder completely out of her reach at the moment, dodged the snakes. "How scary." He taunted mockingly. If she wanted so badly to kill him, she would have to come to him, thus distracting her from the rest of the war.
Suenga, Delta & Others
Delta looked at Honathale, moving in front of Zahavi defensively. "Leave him be," Delta snarled, his hackles raised and head lowered, ready to attack. Lips drawn, his fangs glittened and were drenched in White Feather's blood. Pride rippled threw every vein. Delta knew what he was fighting for. His father's pride, his blood!
Out of nowhere, the disoriented Kaytara, who had let go of Onslaught a long time ago after being poisoned, ran up and slammed into Delta, biting the hell out of him. Delta yelped, blood gushing from his wound. Delta then fell to the ground, Kaytara stand over him with blurry vision, and her fur drenched in blood. The fae went for Delta's neck, now. Ready to kill.
Suenga
Hydras's fangs dug deep into Suenga flesh, blood gushing out like a river. Seeing Tainted, he thought of leaving right then and there. No, Hydras wasn't dead. Suenga shifted, so Hydras's fangs would go for his elbow. It left a bloody scrap, but Hydras didn't mind the pain. Then, Suenga tightened his grip on Hydras, his teeth were going straight to cut off her oxygen supply, puncture the ateries, and end her life.
Achak
The son of Windsong and Blackfeather arrived at the battlefield. He knew his brother would be here. It took him a moment to find Delta, but when he saw the wolf, all hell broke loose. "Get away from him!" Achak snarled, throwing himself at Kaytara and biting wherever he could. He would go to any length to save his brother.
Delta & Kaytara
Kaytara looked at Achak, her mind spinning like a dradal. Snarling, she weak-leggedly backed away, falling a few times. Gasping, she collasped on the ground. "Somone help me!" Kaytara called out to her family.
Delta saw Achak, his vision blurry and unsure. Was it really him? Achak, his brother? Delta groaned, wheezing and coughing up blood. Delta winced, blood rushing from his wounds.
Half Moon
Half moon heard a cry for help and immeidatly responded. The large Wolf Male Lunged for Achak without warning and aimed to bite his wind pipe.
Dreamscape, Kaytara & Delta
Dreamscape immediately knew what was going on, and ran to help Delta and Achak. Snarling, her mind registered. Half-Moon looked like a sibling, so did Kaytara. All of them, in fact, look similiar to Windsong, all of their fathers. Dreamscape snarled and shielded Achak, Half-Moon dug into her throat. But Destroyer and Mambo weren't going to let Dream die. Dream tore away from Half-Moon, snarling. "To think your my part brother! We're all siblings, here! You and your sister, Delta and Achak! Why do you betray your own blood?" Dream snapped, hackles raised. Mambo and Destroyer both coiled, ready to lung if Half-Moon attempted to strike again.
Delta groaned, feeling faint.
Kaytara cried out for Half-Moon, "Moon, just get me out of here!" Kaytara sobbed, "I can't move! Argh!"
Half
He growled.It is not us who betray our own blood! We are part of the Avengers and will fight for our family and pack to take down the haunters you are the ones wronging your family!Windsong our father is neutral now so don't you dare call me a traitorHe then heard his sister and ran to her.He grabbed her scruff and attempted to throw her on his back.I will be back to fight for my family against the hauntershe called out to all before running toward home.

Achak snarled at Half Moon. "You are betraying your blood, dearest." He said tensely, hackles raised like a thousand little daggers. "Windsong is more on the side of the Haunters than on the side of your inferior pack!" He planned to visit Windsong someday, but for now there was other business to tend to.
He then turned around to see Delta. "I'm afraid that there is an illness at the Aspen Grove. I will have to take you elsewhere." He was about to pick his brother up when something distracted him.
Shadi emerged from the sidelines. "It's good to see you again, brothers." The daughter of Windsong and Blackfeather said, a wicked grin on her face. "Tell me, Achak, how is Mother doing? I bet she's dead." Achak launched at his sister, bringing her down to the ground. "Don't walk about Mother that way. Got it?" He said firmly. Shadi laughed. "So insecure..." She chuckled. "It was just a simple question." "SHUT UP!" Ackak would kill her right here, but he didn't want to cause any more stress for Delta. "If you want to be my sister, you should start acting like one. Until then, you are another enemy."
Acheak then turned around and attempted to pick Delta up.
Half

Achak laughed. "I've heard of Tahti, our father Windsong was always an ally, and neither needed to forgive each other!" He shot back. "And for your information, that bitch still hates Kalaber." He had met Predator recently who filled him in on the news. Why should Tahti ever befriend Kalaber? He attacked her and her son for no reason. Besides that, Tahti had no allies, as she wished to remain neutral. "Do you think I care who your mother is? My mother is Blackfeather of the Aspen Grove!"
Half Moon
He growled and shook his head.I will not betray my Family! I will defend them with my life! I will also fight by my fathers side and defeat the stupid haunters!he snarled.
Achak
Achak bared his teeth. "If you're fighting on your father's side, you'd be killing Kalaber. 'Cause that's what Dad wants to do." He stated dominantly. "Do you think we'd betray our family?"
Half Moon
He snorted and shook his head.I ment my mothers side. If you fight me or my siblings then yes you be betraying family and i have alot of siblings!He growled.
Achak; Shadi; Tainted
Achak circled around Half Moon. "No, you are not my family. Just because we have the same blood does not mean you are my brother. You are nothing. Nothing more than a fool going by his father's inferior ways." He slid up next to Shadi.
Shadi's lips pulled back in a wicked snarl. "Die, pup!" She snapped as she lunged.
Tainted turned around to see Half harassing her allies. "Step off!" She yelled, lunging at the other side of the male, trying to give him no way to escape. All at once the snakes struck out at him.
Half Moon
He felt tainted's teeth on his neck and he was shoved to the ground.The snakes missed due to this struggling.He didn't fight her or anything.He was only here to fight the haunters not their allies. He believed their allies were just brainwashed and refused to fight them.My grandfather isn't inferior his ways are of the good and kind and he doesn't want to rule over every one! He wants peace!he snarled as he struggled to get away before the snakes could succesfully bite hime.

Achak snarled in protest. "Your grandfather is causing more trouble for the Valley than Risen is. Who started this war in which so many innocent wolves are dying? Your grandfather! Risen is far more peaceful." Kalaber sure did a good job of ruling over Tahti's group way back when.
Achak stood in front of Half Moon, Tainted on one side, Shadi on the other, and Kahvi behind. Together the four wolves lunged at him, all the while the snakes on Kahvi and Tainted snapping at him.
Half Moon
His tail was low. He knew he could not face two wolves at once.He lept away from the two quickly.He wouldn't be fighting if his family hadn't been destroyed by her and her pack when he was younger. Wither already knows if she and ynear return to him and siest their activities with the haunters that kalaber will pull out of the war and become neutral!He growled.He didn't want to die. He just saved his sister and now he was about to die?
Tainted; Others
Tainted snarled at Half Moon. "Die, filth!" She then lunged at him while the snakes struck out.
Kahvi, Susi, Xatia, Zafirah and Zahavi moved in as well, each surrounding Half Moon. They were determined to not let him get out alive. They all simultaniously lunged at the enemy. On each one was a fierce snake which snapped at Half Moon when it got close enough.
Half Moon
He snarled and howled out desperatly trying to catch someone's Atteniong and it did.It caught the two long horns attention.The two turned and ran straight for the four wolves surrounding Half moon.Shoo you cowards, Teaming up how shameful

The wolves and tigers stopped for nothing. They kept moving in, attempting to make the kill. It would be a miracle if Half Moon escaped.
Majikan, Tamaka, Koray, Tama and Devaki stood between the longhorns and Tainted's group. "You're a fine one to speak." Koray shot back.

Half moon would not die today! He refused to die.He struggled desperatly.He attempted to bite any of them or even a snake.The snakes were getting closer and closer to getting him officially.Struggling and using his mouth prevented him from calling for help. But he feared if he took that brief second to call for help that he would be bit and die.

The snakes crawled off of their canine and feline friends to snap at Half Moon. There were eight snakes in all. It would be a miracle if Half Moon survived this one.

He glared atthem and stoped fighting.You are only cowards to have to team up on one wolf and even more cowards to rely on snakes to kill I pity all of you and you will lose!Then he just shut his eyes and felt the snakes bite him. He would die with dignity and pride unlike these snivling cowards!

Tainted shook her head. "No, we're only smart. Real wolves fight in a pack. Fools like you try to take on an entire pack alone." She most certainly wasn't a coward. Actually, she was quite daring. "And we've already won. Hydras is dying. Our mission is complete."

He snorted.Then why kill me when i only fight the haunters! Your pathetic, I fight with my pack!If i faught alone i would be stupid but teaming up on one wolf is pathetiche spoke just lieing there.He could feel the toxins start to take affect quickly but knew poision usually did not travel fast if you remaind still but he would die still quickly because of the number of snakes.

Tainted narrowed her eyes. "Because the Haunters are our allies, dimwit." She shot back. "And how is teaming up on one creature pathetic? We're only fighting like true wolves!"

The tigers, wolves and snakes back off, allowing Half Moon to have peace in his last moments.

He watched as his grandfather faught with a female that looked realtive the same to him. Then his eyes traveled to his pack mates.He wished them luck as his tail stopped moving.He let out one last howl goodbye and then soon his eyes closed for hte last time and his breathing halted.His body lie motionless
Rat poision who was younger then half moon who was only two watched his nephew die.He walked backwards away from them who he was near but was scared to even help his brohter. He backed up and soon hit a tree and just sat there.

Tainted glanced at Rat Poison. She said nothing as she passed him. She needed to speak to Suenga.
"Suenga!" She howled out.
Achak then returned to Delta, trying to pick his brother up.

Suenga, knowing Hydras was near the death point and that she was going to die within the next few minutes, let go and wiggled away. "Cao, Hydras," Suenga snapped bluntly, racing to Tainted's side, gasping. Blood pooled from his shoulder, it hurt like hell. Seeing Half-Moon, he snorted. "Worthless mongrel, too bad...he came from a good father. How sad," Suenga shrugged, looking at his mate, "Hydras is basically gone.

Dream rolled her eyes, knowing another Avenger needed to be killed. Ticked, Dream ran at Rat, lashing with her front legs for his chest, hoping to take him down. Wrapped in her fur was Mambo and Destroyer, who both struck out on either side of Rat Poison.
Tainted
Tainted looked at Suenga. She gasped, feeling a pain in her stomach. "I need to get back to my mother's territory. Take over for me here." She said, then looked at Zahavi. "Get Des to Star's place." She used the English translation of her mother's name so nobody would know who she meant. With that, she trotted off.
Zahavi nodded to Tainted. "I will see that our mission is fulfilled, Lady Tainted." He said, turning around and reaching out to grab Des by the scruff.
Suenga
Suenga turned to Zahavi, nodding. "Right," Suenga smirked and looked back at Hydras, lips curling. She was good as gone, the poison would be in full course of her body, now. "I'll make sure no one tries to stop you." Suenga stood guard, hackles raised and teeth barred. If anyone even thought of attacking Zahavi, Suenga wouldn't be afraid to attack them.

"Piece of scum," Dream snarled, Destryoer and Mambo wrapped around her protectively. If Rat did lash at her abdomen, they'd meet him with a painful bit. Dream lunged at Rat's shoulder, hoping to make him limp for a while.

Destroyer lunged out, not yet biting Rat, yet.

Dreamscape laughed, looking at him amused. Dreamscape, knowing she was bigger, picked up Rat. "Come, and I won't kill you." Dream commanded, Destroyer wrapped around Rat's neck, fangs threatening to sink into his flesh.

His eyes looked to his dead uncle and then felt the snake wrap around his neck.He didn't speak but allowed the female to lead him where ever

Dream looked around cautiously, before leading Rat away, to a safer place. Dream decided the Ruins was too obvious, and she wasn't going to risk her pack's protection, especially the mother's. So Dream decided to take Rat to the human Dump, somewhere far from wildlife.
Risen
Wither felt her brother grab at her legs and struggled to maintain her balance. Her strength gave out and she was force to the ground, but not without a flailing attempt to correct herself. Her biting became a little more serious as she demanded he let her up.
As black came up to Risen’s side, Melee raised from her resting position and gave a deadly hiss. “You can stay out of this battle Blacky” She opened her venomous jaws and took a snap at the air. Warning the alpha female to back away, as Dream’s attempts to intercept the female failed, Melee took another snap again. Giving warning that Risen had no “weak spot” not with two guardians on her body.
Risen snarled as Jake turned to attack another, “You’re fight is here, be professional you stupid mongrel!” She bit at his face and then at his neck, letting Venom bite where he could to inject his poison. But it was a little too late as Jake had already gotten his dose of mamba venom. Risen snorted and turned back to Black Plaque, “Wench” She snarled and again when after the female, Melee unable to help in the front, Venom took back his role at fighting and squaring off with the mamba around Black’s neck.
Prisoner snorted and reared in frustration, also delaying the destined fight between her and her friend. “We captured those who were against us and raised their children in the protection of a large land! Those who are not against us do not get such treatment! They are raised and trained for battles and live with our respect!” Prisoner pawed at the ground. Her ears pinned tightly to her head.
Black Ivory saw her opening and attempted to quickly seize Caraway’s throat, She wouldn’t show mercy, she was a true Haunter Warrior, and nothing would change that! “Are you prepared to see the light of the Afterlife?”
Viyanna, feeling overwhelmed by her attackers, noticed their sudden changes as the poisons took affect. I have to hold on just a little long and they will be nothing but pesky roaches… She snorted and pulled herself up as if recovering from her wounds. The mare rounded upon Glacier and bucked wildly to get the canine off of her, not even for a second did she let her hooves touch the ground, this would make her near impossible to attack, or so she hoped as she aimed her wild bucks to the three females.
Demolition couldn’t help but take not of all those who were beginning to drop like flies, he smiled hauntingly as he saw them and then watched Tahirah “You’re next” So to the point, and yet so vague, he tucked his neck as the pit bull came at him and turned so she could have a full on mouthful of his poisoned coat. All the while taking aim at her front legs to try and apprehend them for more control over her movements.
Havik snorted as fangs raked across his dial, his eyes closed as he now thrashed Argolis’ mangled limb. Maybe he could tear it off so this wolf would never use it again, if by some miracle he survived his poison.
Iota felt that her attempts to get Skeil off of her had become futile for the moment, but she wouldn’t allow herself to hold still long enough for the pit bull to get a better hold on a more lethal part of her body. Instead she kept up her flailing and screaming more loudly than every. She let Skiel bite her poisoned body as she attempted more energetically to get her off.
Kalaber,Black plaque and Kiki
Black snarled.No, My fight is with risen and her alone!She snarled staying back adn then aiming as risen turned back to her.
Kik the mamba hissed right back but didn't attack and would only attack if the other did so.She was here to protect plaque not fight.
Kalaber growled and pinned her for a minute or two trying to make her tire before allowing her to stand back up. Blood dripped from him but he refused to show tiredness or weakness.He now waited for his sister. Though he would have to end this battle soon or risk loosing more of his pack and allies. It would end soon yes and even if it ment defeat it was just a battle . He would win the war. The valley would win the war..

Skah had been following the river up stream for quite sometime, now he came to a large lake. Trotting up to the lake he peered down into his watery reflection.
His topaz eyes stared back at him from the fluffy white sockets of his head. He admired his well groomed white coat. Skah wasn't vein but he was proud of his appearance. He was muscular but not overly so. He had a well shaped face and peircing eyes. He was averaged size at an inch over three feet. He weighed 110 pounds and was longer than any memeber in his pack. Well... Ex pack.
He snorted thinking about comparing himself to his ex-family. They had viciously kicked him from their ranks after he refused to play their way. The story was much more complicated but he wasn't willing to think of that.
Snickering to himself he lapped at the water distorting his reflection. After drinking his fill he took a second to take in his suroundings. His eyes fell on the scene across the lake from his seated position....
He seemed to stare for a long time before any thoughts came to him. Is that a Giraffe???
Risen .+. Boki .+. Wither
Risen snorted as Black continued to fight her, Will she ever die? She thought, trying to come up with ways to destroy the alpha female of the Avengers. Her fighting started to get more serious, no more playing. Her bloodied fangs began to tear at Black’s throat, giving a few sharp bites before changing and trying to grab one of the female’s legs to crush.
Wither thrashed around on the ground as her brother pinned her. Her breaths came in heaving withdrawals and exhales. She tore herself from her brother, letting him keep whatever part of her he was holding on to. After a stagger she gained her balance and glared at him. “I want you to run: far away. Never come back to the valley Kalaber. I don’t want to see you get killed. And you know your fate is death if you continue to fight us.” She stared at her brother. “I am no longer asking to join us, I am demanding you run to save your life.” Her eyes shifted to those who were showing the signs of the poisons. Boki and MoonShadow had already fallen to the ground. While MoonShadow struggled to get back up, Boki began accepting his death and laid still on the ground, heaving his breath in heavily as he struggled to keep death at bay. The dog knew his end was inevitable. He just wished he could see his siblings one last time… Runi, Luxis, Azin… and the little fawn one that never got a name in his presence.
Boki began memories, his body convulsing, he grunted, gasped, croaked, and then his body lay completely still. He was gone.
Oraiyus soared threw the air, scouting for enemies that may make an unfair entrance. The prairie falcon was on her 15th round when she spotted Skah. Enemy! An enemy is on the other side of the lake!" She screamed, but everyone was too into their fighting to care. So the falcon flew down and landed on a branch. "Get out of here Avenger! Your side is loosing, there is no point to go down with them." She hissed, her small talons squeezing the branch she was perched upon. Her cold eyes staring into his in a threatening manner.
Skah
Skah turned his attention to the troublesome bird before him. His eyes boring into hers with an almost blood thirsty intent.
"Do not drag me into your fight, pest, I am not part of this." He snarled at her defensively. Skah was not in the mood for a fight he would so clearly lose. He new nothing of this place nor those that lived here and damned be it for him to get involved over some bird.
"Announce me as an enemy to your comrades again and I will rip those wings from your fat little body." This time he got to his feet and actually snapped at her. He may not have been able to catch her but he would sure as hell try.
Kalaber
he snarled angerly.I will not run! This valley is my home and I will help free it from the devils grasph!He snarled.But this battle is over, Haunters won this one but they will not win the warHe snarled and then sent up the howl for his pack..The Battle was over.
Black plaque's left front leg just got a hold of by risen when she heard the call.You win this battle risen dearest but you will lose the war!When and if risen let go she would retreat
The avengers gave one last blow to their opponents and then backed off. They would collect the injured and dead after the battle field cleared of the haunters.
Risen .+. Wither .+. Oraiyus
Risen snarled through clenched teeth. "If only it were that easy..." Her words came as she crunched down on Black's leg. She would ensure a broken bone before Black Plaque made it out alive.
MoonShadow, unwilling to fall to death, cried out to his mother in a terrible howl. "Save me!" He cried as his muscles began to convulse beneath him. "Mommy, I'm scared..." It was his first and last fight. His body burned and eyes began to roll back in his head. He gurgled a moment as a flood of vomit made its way to his mouth. But as it came up and inhaled and the acidic vomit went down his windpipe. Coughing and then choking, MoonShadow gave a grunt before falling to the ground. His feet moved as if he were running before his eyes made their final roll into the back of his skull. Sending him into his endless sleep.
Wither snorted as her brother moved away from her. "This war will last for many more years brother. And unlike the Ancient Guardians, we will not fall. You are groups of allies. We are a civilization with comrades and friends. Do not belittle us... Brother." She snorted a moment before turning and walking toward the Haunter side, waiting for Risen to call off her side of the army.
Oraiyus gave a short cackle before lowering her head. "Then I will not mistake you again. My name is Oraiyus, part of the most power pack in the valley: The Shadow Hautners. What brings you do our battle?"
Koga
He listened to Oraiyus and flew to the same animal.My friend, do not listen to this bird, She will only try to corrupt you and turn you against the valley. If you want to the truth come to shadow hedge and hear itKoga then flew off back to Kalaber.
Kalaber laughed.OH please! Your friends maybe some of you but you have been brainwashed to believe what risen is doing is saving this valley when that is a lie! You wonder why she killed your other Alpha! She wants power!He snorted and shook his head.
Black gave a loud yelp and then forced herself away from risen when she heard her son calling for her.She limped to him and nuzzled him for the last time.
Oraiyus .+. Others
The falcone watched Koga fly off before looking back to Skah. "I will not sway your vote, you can listen to him, Whose side has just lost, or come to the Ruins and seek out Risen."
Wither growled back at her brother before returning with tears in her eyes. "But what you don't understand is this... Risen is not imortal. Once she passes on, there will be a successor... And The Haunters will follow the dream she has given us: To cleanse the valley. So even if you're right, and all she wants is to seek and destroy, once someone replaces her, probably one from the younger generations, the dream of the Shadow Haunters will be, 100%, to clean this valley." With that, and a tear rolling down her cheek, she moved away for good. Staying in the shadows of the Haunters.
Skah
He looks from the bird on the branch to the one flying away.
Interesting, He thought to himself.When I finally stop searching. I am presented with a gift.
His eyes focus on the falcon. "Oraiyus, Was it? Tell me more about this... Risen. And what, May I ask is this fight over. It's rather bloody. And my, are they strong."
His eyes scanned over the field moving from creature to creature as he waited for the bird to reply to him. He would deffinatly have to look into this fight. His question was, who would be a better choose. The obvious winners, or maybe the losers. He would just have to pay them both a visit in due time.
Unless of course another opportunity presented its self with the information that the bird provided.
Kalaber
He listened.Well when that happens then maybe your eyes will open up a gain and you will stop hurting innocent creatures of this valley and taking babies from their innocent mothers!He spoke quietly and calmly.He still wanted his sisters back but for now this was all the damage he and his allies could handle.
Oraiyus
Oraiyus smiled as the male canine questioned her about Risen. Her light colored wings beat the air for a moment as she grew comfortable.
"Risen is the oldest daughter of the the legendary wolf, Vicious. After freeing herself from the powerless paws of the Lurkers, her and a life long rival created the Shadow Haunters. The second leader, however, planned to dethrone Risen and so there was a war within the pack. Risen became the single leader and led us to many a victory. Although small in stature, she has a unique gift. One that many do not possess: powerful leadership.
"The goal of the Haunters, although many enemies oppose, is to cleanse the Valley of darkness and hate. For many years, the residents of this valley fought each other over meaningless things. Risen fights with reason, with purpose. For when the Haunters win, all will be respected. Every Haunter demands respect, and even the lowest of the pack gets all the respect of the uppers. Every Haunter has a role, and thus is important in our body as a group."
Her eyes burned for a moment, a fire alight in them as the female paced herself on the branch, and then glided to the ground when she got more comfortable with the male. Her snow white feathers, mixed in with her dusty brown ones, frilled for a moment and then settle back as she continued.
"Some may call it cheating, we call our fights strategy. Not many think to coat themselves in toxin to gain an upper hand.... Call it playing dirty, unfair... but it is not cheating, and life is always unfair, or the human saying. "All's fair in war".
"The war that just happened here, we were informed that they would be attacking us to try and get back that," She pointed to Kalaber " little mongrel's sisters back. They do not want to go with him, they know their power here. Wither is a highly respect warrior and Ynear is the leader of the Mothers. Neither will return to him and he doesn't understand that. So he gathers all of his allies for his single selfish deed. His sisters are here by choice, and he wishes to tear them from their home.. this - family. This family, where every creature is the same, we are all one. From the smallest Egyptian Plover, to the largest African Elephant, we are all the same. I will not tell you where to go, my dear. It will be your choice, if you wish to further speak with us, speak with Risen when we get back to the temple." With that the bird opened her wings and leaped into the sky, joining her was a small tan and black bird, Ino. The two would normally be prey and predator, but they flew together like sisters... comrades...
Kalaber
Kalaber and black stayed behind to gather their fallen and allies fallen. Kalaber lightly dragged half moon to their side.Then he made to move boki as well.
Black sadly moved Moon next to Half Moon.She then grabed yaxley and did the same.The two longhorns approached and lowered themselves and the four bodies were placed ontop of them.
Hydras & Others
“You’re not taking me away from my family!” Desmon snarled defiantly to Tainted, before whirling to strike his fangs at Zahavi and evade getting caught in the feline’s grip. “You’re nothing but a two-faced murderer, just like your mother!” Seething in mental anguish at hearing and seeing his family wounded and dying around him, the hybrid struck out with his words just as much as his fangs.
Honthale backed up next to his brother, snarling savagely as he looked from one creature to the next. His devilish sights fell ultimately on Tainted, “You’ll take him over my dead body!” Having already lost Hatch, he wasn’t about to let Desmon get taken away from him.
His head shook his fury, sending his thick, shaggy main swaying with the movement as his tineless antler beams swished through the air. “A fancy explanation for murder and enslavement, and you know it, Prisoner.” Legend challenged, but he still couldn’t bring himself into any movement of attack, “Prisoner…” His bellowing, guttural vocals dropped down in quality to something that hinted of pleading, “…this is not the friend that I spent my fawnhood with. This is not you.”
Whatever Caraway’s reply, it was snatched away by the iron-hard grasp around her throat. She struggled mightily against it, throat straining to force out words, but nothing aside from wheezing gasps escaped the constricted airway. A dull crunch announced the collapse of the windpipe, making the hybrid flinch violently and attempted a soundless yelp. Blood flooded into her starved lungs, and splattered from her muzzle and nose with the last few breaths that managed to squeak by the caved airway. In a matter of seconds, her struggled died down to nothing.
Glacier held on defiantly, but eventually the combination of bucking and toxins got to her. Her grip was lost, and she tumbled to the ground. She rose once, standing shakily on her legs, but it would be the last time that she did. As her weakened limbs buckled in and sent her to the ground, Nightcrawler was barreling across the ground towards her, with Kanan at his side. The ebony wolf and his contrastingly white friend rushed in a whirlwind around the mare, offering feigned snaps and mock rushes at her, trying to drive her away from the younger canines.
When Tahirah got her hold, she clamped down hard and gave Demolition as good of a thrashing as she possibly could. Even when a faint fire seemed to creep across her tongue and gums, she continued to bite harder and shake her head savagely. She had her hold, and she was bound determined to keep it. So determined, in fact, that she failed to keep her limb out of reach, and it was caught up by her foe.
Skeil continued to keep her grip, battling through the effects of the poison and the lively struggles of her prey. But eventually, even her fighting prowess reached a point that was no longer good enough in this situation, and her grip was lost. As she made a quick rush to re-establish her hold, another figure came hurtling her way. A lifetime of fighting and witnessing death did nothing to lessen the anguish of loss for the hybrid, and as much as he wanted to protect the new female, he couldn’t bare to loose his old friend right now. Bullet plowed head-on for Iota, trying to outright tackle the female and send she and him both tumbling across the ground.
In her last few moments of life, Hydras spent her dwindling reserves of energy on one last, defiant act. While the enemies jaws drove down over her throat, she thrust her muscled body forward, driving against the screaming pain and toxin-fired nerves that resisted the strenuous efforts. Crimson-washed fangs fought ravagely for Suenga’s face, aiming to score her teeth to the bone and leave him with a brilliant scar for all to remember. But whether this could be accomplished or not, the queen’s heart seized with her expended efforts as the poisons took dramatic effect. In the blink of an eye, her body went lax as her fierce eyes grew cool and distant, staring sightlessly over the battlefield where so many of her family and friends lay stricken and dying.
Skah
The birds words stayed with skah for a time. He did not move as he watched the two soar away.
Equals? He scoffed bemused. It was instilled in him that he was no ones equal. But he caught himself thinking, Who's philosophy was that. He didn't ever remember choosing it. It had simply been with him always.
But right now that did not matter. He could ponder the things he had simply always known later. How were they implanted in him, was it instinct or something much closer to home? He Shook his head standing, he could think of these later. Now he would have a word with this Risen.
"She seems like a powerful woman. I would much like to meet her." Skah spoke to no one in particular as he began to trot after the two birds.
Aurinka
The coywolf hobbled onto the battleground. She was shocked at how many had lost their lives in the war. But she was here for one thing - to see her best friend. "Des! Where are you?" Aurinka called out.
Tumult .+. Others
Risen glared as she noticed the enemies retreating, then looked at Hydras' dead body. She stared at her coldly before taking a step toward the losing side, but just as she did so, Oraiyus and Ino came frantically flying out of the forest
"Fire FIRE!"
The sun had gone just below the horizon, it was the time of twilight. Where the shadows were just starting to fade away into the deep blue of night. The air was slightly chilled, but as a strong gust came from within the forest, a warm, almost hot air, pushed past the crowd.
Risen snorted and looked in the direction, she could hear the sound of crackling, but her eyes didn't let her see anything yet. "Fire?" Risen had never really seen the flaming blaze, but just as she was about to dismiss it, a large wave of flames came over the tops of the trees in the distance. With a roaring wind, the flames ate hungrily at the dried plants that were just coming out of hibernation.
With a gulp Risen called out to her pack. "EVERYONE BACK TO THE TEMPLE!" She looked back to her fallen comrades but the flames had already lined the trees around them, The only way of escape had become a clearing adjacent to the lake.
Risen counted her warriors as they fled. Seeing those dead on the floor before turning and making a run for it.
Ghoul and Temptation, battered and bloody, separated and limped away from each other. While Prisoner, too scared to retort to her childhood friend, reared up and raced to the lake. Like so many others that left those who they were previously fighting and were now in a race to save their lives.
Among those who Risen counted, one was missing... Tumult was not to be seen. But the mother could not look for her lost child, it was either her life or his.
From within the forest, flames lit up behind him, but Tumult held his ground. A cigarette filter handing out of his smiling mouth. His eyes danced with joy as they rested on the "dead" Hydras. If there was any way to save her, he's be able use her as a weapon... to tear apart the lurkers...
And how did Tumult get the brilliant idea to cause this massive fire? Trying to find help for the poor little pup whom he and Toki were to kill. He didn't know it was too late, but on his way he saw a human throw out a cigarette from a passing car... the grass around it budded into a flower of fire before settling down. All he needed to do was find a dry spot in the forest and.... Well, the outcome is obvious.
Lyckos & Others
It was a pain that Lyckos never thought he would have to feel. Time seemed to stop as he spotted Hydras fall, and when she didn't get up and tear Suenga apart, Lyckos felt his world crash and burn. He seemed to go into a state of shock, disbelief clouding his thoughts while shouts of terror started up around him. He had not time to grieve, as the smell of smoke clogged his lungs. The Haunters began to retreat under Risen's command, and the flmaes of the fire hastened towards them. With a final glance to his dead son and mate, Lyckos howled out orders to the remaining Lurkers and allies.
"FIRE! Run! LURKERS, Retreat to the alleys!"
With Camden by his side, the now solo alpha male of the Shadow Lurkers fled the fire, followed by the remaining members of his pack.
Incalia, Onslaught, Bandit, Vaermina, Ardeth and Malacath all took off for the Ruins.
Hydras & Others
Somewhere, he heard the voice of Aurinka call out, but it was drowned out by the roar of cackling fire and the cry of retreat from both sides. In a flash, sharp winds brought the inferno rushing in around them, engulfing the newly budding plants and sending deadly flames licking at the flanks of fallen comrades and enemies alike. "RETREAT!" The hybrid howled out, adding his voice to the desperate rally.
"NNOOO!!!" A gut-wrenching howl shattered the cluttered air when Bullet saw one of his daughters lying motionless, while another was clawing weakly across the ground, trying to fend off the hot flames that scorched up along her fur. Ignoring the call of the others, Bullet rushed for Dianthia, trying desperately to get her to her paws, "Help, someone! Please!"
Pistol was at his father's side in short time, eyes blazing with terror and shock as they locked onto the sightless orbs of Narsinia, laying tattered and gored a few feet away. But the pained cries of his living sister spurred him into action, as he volunteered his strength and effort to help Dianthia up.
"This way, hurry!" Ninaki was adding his windy vocals to the chorus now, guiding a frantic Phelan and Ravenshou in the right direction, as Pirqua sailed overhead to help guide them.
Throughout the pandamonium, the cries of desperate friends and family members rose and died away, searching for their lost ones as the brush fire ravaged the land around them. Eventually though, the heat grew too intense, and the survivors were driven to flee.
Aurinka; Tahti
Aurinka watched as her old packs went separate ways. Tears formed in her eyes when she didn't see Desmon. Her worst fear was that he was dead. "Des?" She called out shakily. The fire was closing in on her. Her damaged nerves from her recent fight with distemper would slow her down. She had no way of getting out of here alone.
Tahti emerged from the trees, leaping through the smaller flames. "Come with me!" She barked, grabbing her daughter and carrying her away as best she could.
Tumult
Temptation heard the cries of Bullet as the male rushed to the fallen female, she too offered her strength to help, although mangled and bloody, she would assist in anyway she could.
With the fire blazing around him, an inferno for those who lay dieing and dead on the ground, Tumult emerged only when all living creatures were gone. Or at least, all conscious living things. His rugged fur moved with a coy, brooding movement as he made his way for the fallen Hydras, the alpha of the Lurkers... He smiled as he moved up, standing over her motionless body. "You died trying to destroy us... And you will be reborn to help lead us... my dear Hydras." Leaning down, he pulled her from the ground and began to drag her back the temple. But where to put her so the others wouldn't find her?
He snorted as he entered the water, keeping the "dead" one's head above the deadly liquid. Swimming past, and then taking his leave to his home land.
