The small Fennec fox was fairly new to the area, and took this day as a time to search the places out. This was the first she had ever been to this location of, what was it? Pike's Lake? Yea, that had to be it. And who knew her first encounter would be with such a creature as a mink?
The fox, with her big, somewhat rounded ears, stepped up to the edge of the lake. Her beady dark eyes scanned the waters, searching for any sign of a living thing. She didn't want to get too close, just in case there was someone not so friendly in there.
She turned her head with a sigh, and that's when she spotted the mink. This was an odd looking animal to her, Bejewel had to admit. But it looked friendly enough, so she decided to give it a go. "Hello?" she called, her big ears whirled forward to catch any reply.
