Delta
The brute trotted near the the water and lapped at the surface, his throat dry. Delta held his head high, looking at the sky around him. The skies were cloudy, and the air was cold. Delta's tail was held high, and he looked over his shoulder to see if Aminita had followed. If she did, he had a alpha fae. If not, that was too bad. Dreamscape might be coming. Unless she got too fuzzy with a mother she never knew. Who will join me? Delta thought lightheartedly.
Akilina
The Secretary Bird silently strode along the shore and stopped when she saw Delta. "Who are you?" She asked.
Delta
Delta turned to Akilina, growling slightly. "I'm Delta, son of Windsong and Blackfeather." Delta stated strongly, flexing his muscles.
Akilina
The bird cocked her head, taking a few steps closer. "I am Akilina, daughter of Penny and Samuel." She replied. Her eyes were fixed on the wolf. Canines had always fascinated her. At least, when they weren't trying to eat her.
Delta
Delta shrugged off Akilina, she was no harm. "Don't you serve as a messenger bird or something, like most birds around here? Or are you a free-flyer?" Delta asked kindly.
Akilina
Akilina shook her head. "No. I would never dream of being somebody's pet like that. I'm enjoying freedom...while it lasts." She said with a grin.
Delta
"Same here. My brother was captured by humans a while ago..." Delta sighed.
